I grew up with a physically abusive and emotionally abusive father, so watching any videos with Micarah and her dad always make me tear up with happiness at their relationship, but holy crap, I’m sitting here SOBBING right now at the part of him singing for her.

Yeah sometimes it surprises people how “rough” the nurses/doctors are with newborns but they need to be stimulated and the amniotic fluid needs to be removed from the mouth/nose/ears/eyes

@@jgp1294 No, she grabbed it loosely by the ankle so it would be quite hard to cause a dislocation. She was going fast because the baby was squirming and going slow would make it harder.
Actually, almost every baby born vag*nally will have their lungs compressed in the birth canal, essentially squeezing most of the amniotic fluid out, and they can breath just fine on their own. Not every baby will cry right away, but they don’t need to, because they’re still getting oxygen from their umbilical cord. (Micarah was crying already though, the suctioning was so freaking unnecessary.)
It’s best for them to be put on their mother’s chest or belly as soon as they come out, skin to skin is plenty of stimulation for them as a newborn. They actually are born with the ability to do a sort of crawl (called the milk crawl) up their mother’s torso to nurse for the first time.
Only in the 90s will a lady give birth while chewing gum, smiling, and saying “hi cutie!” When she is born LMAO

I only tell you one thing: when my sister was born, I was 3 years old. As soon as she was placed in the cart after the childbirth, I took the cart and went around the hospital. They found us in the parking lot, three floors below the birth ward. Ups XD

Aren't they tall and kinda heavy? I don't think my 3 year old could push one clear across a hallway let alone with enough time to get away from every doctor and nurse and down the elevator and out into the parking lot before anyone would mention something to her about that not being allowed.... also they bracelet the baby like 2 minutes after they're born and an alarm goes off if they leave the birthmark while its activated

i have an amazing relationship with my dad, i think it's bc when my parents got divorced when i was two my dad got custody of me and my brother so i've always been close with him and i have to say, having a close relationship with him definitely has made me more of a tom boy but at the same time, i've learned not to take shit from people, so if you need a dad, i can be yours😂

I was in the hospital room when my mom gave birth to her fifth and final child. She pushed for about .5 seconds and said “there’s the baby”. It was very anticlimactic. My seven year old self was quite unenthused.

Girl, you were SO blue for SO long, I would have been doing the same as that nurse did! People are always surprised at how rough medics and nurses are with newborns, but tbh the birth canal can actually break a baby’s shoulder on the way out...so they are much tougher than people think. Plus... you needed stimulation and o2. I wish my parents would have taped my birth. That’s so cool. My mom is gorgeous (actually you sort of resemble her when she was younger!), but she has always HATED being on video. Like, if she sees a news van at the mall for some event, she will literally cancel her shopping plans just in case she’s caught off guard on film. Ridiculous 🤣 And kids, her mom was chill during the birth because that was her fourth. Labor goes FAST for the fourth, because the cervix dilates quick. I don’t have kids, but I work in medicine

Like she’s not crying, not screaming, not even making a facial expression.
The crying and screaming is what media presents to us births are like.. While some woman indeed are in incredible pain, not all of them scream like he'll. And most importantly, not all woman are in that amount of pain during birth. birth can be quite manageable and peaceful if you feel comfortable and trust your body. :)

Having it be your fourth rodeo, and an epidural, means a totally different experience.
I've had 2 girls. Oldest daughter was 4 hours & youngest daughter was 4.5 hours. Idk why but I was extremely lucky & my doctors were pretty amazed. My oldest's doctor thought she had time to go out to a fancy dinner with her husband. It turns out, she did not & delivered my daughter in sequins & heels. 😂

@@skino1 You can at most give birth every 9 months. So while it's something that happens everyday to someone it by definition is not a part of everyday life for anyone. For at least 50% of the population it's not part of their life at all. OP is saying Micarah's mum is so chill while giving birth that it seems like she does it everyday.

Just as I think I could not possibly relate any more to Micarah by being a homeschooler who grew up in the midwest, have been a camp counselor at church camp, is surrounded by animals constantly, has blonde hair (and has dyed it red and other colors), loves costumes, and has a fondness of RVs (discovered her channel through her RV video), I find out that WE SHARE THE SAME BIRTHDAY??? Every birth is different. It varies greatly from person to person. Also, it usually gets faster with each delivery, as the body has done it before
