It's not lost on me that 52 year old married men are probably not your target demographic. But somehow youtube served up your 30,000 step video to me after I'd been looking into barefoot shoes and here we are. I've now watched all of your videos and the polish and production value that they have is something that I imagine a lot of people appreciate without realizing how much effort goes into it. You've made me laugh out loud (for real), and yknow don't we all need a bit more of that?
I imagine that you have a number of goals for your youtube channel. Maybe one of them is "reach X number of middle-aged man subs". Here's +1 to that goal.

Loved this!! I climbed Kilimanjaro with my partner last year and we chose not to get a SIM or climb the route with wifi. It was seriously nice to be totally disconnected from the world. Switching off for an entire week made my anxiety infinitely better!

You have a lot pf interesting things to share, you make very thoughtfull videos, i mean to say that your videos are very valuable to me. They make me realise that I watch some very superficial vloggers on youtube and how nice it is to watch someone who actually has something to say, who is trying to live and speak intentionally. I feel like iam not able to convey what i mean to say in english. Maybe just this: i like your videos, thank you for making them, please continue making them (as long as you enjoy it and it feels good to make them), please don‘t compare yourself to other content creators, you bring something very unique and special to my corner of the internet. I'm going to reduce my time online drastically next month, so this was very timely and nice to watch! Reason is I'm moving to an apartment with no wifi, I don't have data on my cellphone and I'm also quitting my job so I won't be able to go online that way either. My plan is going to the library when I need to do stuff online. But I'm freaking out a little and therefore, I think, I'm kind of bingeing online content right now. Thank you for the reminder of how good it feels to unplug :)
