It's interesting how you and Tiffany have such different taste. It's fun to watch
❤❤❤
The metal snowman rack is to hold plates on a buffet table. It can hold two different dishes to serve yummy food. It gets the serving dishes up off the table--makes room that way for more dishes.
At my mom's table it would hold the pies so yo could stare at them all thru dinner.
That's what I thought it's what I use mine for I had commented the same thing and deleted it .
Hi, I can't imagine how you do it all...but can you do a video of your routine, once you buy the item, to taking photos, logging into inventory, to storage...like the whole start to finish of an item you purchased to sell..you've shown, buying and shipping, but I (personally need) to see how to do the between stuff...thank you so much for considering this request
It is a men’s valet with a felted space for glasses
I was thinking that the space was for a watch. It's just a guess not positive. Maybe if he doesn't wear glasses he can put a watch there.
@@pamclift5446 @Barbara Brooks and I am guessing for a wallet billfold type lol
The upright felted space is for a wallet and the indent directly in front of that is for a watch.
@@deniselange6341 I agree
Or these days, could be used for a cellphone.
Tiffany and Dani! The two Vegas showgirls!
Or is that Shopgirls!?
The small knitted/crocheted blanket with the light colors of Easter looks like the one my daughter was given. I lived in Henderson and had to leave a home half filled with 42 years of memories. I lost my home when my husband died. It was a mess. But seeing that little blanket was eye opening.
Good for Tiffany! She has a mag glass!
I think the variety of clear glass candle sticks set up at your booth is a really great idea!
The rack with the snowman is used at tea time . It holds plates that you put your tea sandwhiches and scones on.
Oh my goodness! The ABC baby blocks planter from 1984 - I got that when I was born! How crazy, the exact same one! 🥰 Fun! Love watching your videos and hello from Chicago 👋
Love the blue planter pot. I'm looking for the same color to repot my lemon tree. Lol.
I bought an Ugg blanket at Kohl's yesterday & paid close to $70. It was so worth it though because it is sooooo soft!! You found some great stuff in this video! Thank you for your time taking us with you & teaching us a long the way:) xo from Oregon
The metal rack with a snowman is to put your plates on with snacks3😊
Yes. That's good too.
The gourd with the pipes 🙃 is called a “mate” a traditional drinking cup where tea leaves that have been processed is drank out of the bombilla or pipe… predominantly drank in South America.
Sometimes the trim and straw can be silver
Yes I had Argentinian friends who drank Mate out of similar gourd looking drinking vessels.
The unglazed parts of the bowl were there so you could stack the kiln full of bowls unglazed parts would touch unglazed parts in the kiln and not fuse together...the unglazed surfaces did not mess with the function of mixing and actually allowed a better grip while mixing with a spoon or whisk.
I’m so glad you pointed that out. I am a potter and have not use that method yet, but I handbuild so much pieces wouldn’t fit together well enough to use that method. I’d love to follow you on fb if you have a page. I have 2 manual kiln sitter kilns. Just bought new elements for my large one! Praying it will fire hot enough now.
@@micheledickey4066 i don't have a facebook page. I used to have an etsy store but sold more at weekend shows so let it die, of course that was before rona. I don't personally use the stack method in my glaze kilns but got taught it. I mostly throw but handbuild too. Since rona i've been learning reselling.
I now get annoyed when I go to Goodwill because I have to do what you do and put things together and look things up before I buy anything! Lol!
The gourd with the drinking pipes is to drink hot mate a beverage like tea made with herbs and is from Argentina
A man's wallet or phone could go there. It's for emptying their change from their pockets after working all day.
My Dad always had candies too, butterscotch or peppermint he would give to us almost every night when he got home from work. Yes we had to wait until after dinner to eat the candy.
Thats a wonderful memory of your dad
So good to hear you are moving. Such a stressful time with the AC!
Didn't she also have some problem(s) in the past getting the landlord to take care of something at that house?
Yes this house has been horrible! This is our 3rd time without air in 7 months!
Glasses in the day…now, a cell phone!:)
You are my Favorite Lady and Carrie treats You So Well 💕, You Deserve it
The small wooden “ box” that wouldn’t open is a puzzle box, I think.
I agree with you. :)
I also believe it is puzzle box. I have purchased them on QVC over the years. I have a dog one and I purchased 4 butterfly boxes for my siblings after my mom passed away. The priest had related a story about butterflies and how it was a sign of your departed loved one, so I left them a note about Mom in the box.
I’ve spent most of this video shaking my head no at the prices as you read them off. I still can’t get over that $199.99
7.01" that is call Mate, I'm Argentian, we use it to drink Mate, is the like a tea.
A Steuben glass in the wild! Whooohooo!
About the heavy Albany (brown) glazed mixing bowl: you asked "why didn't they finish the glaze on there?" they'd wax those lines below the rim and round the foot of the ware to prevent glaze from adhering there, so that they could stack the ware in the kilns without them all being fused together. As it is semi-vitreous clay body, it remains strong and durable, and in no way affects the quality of the piece, or the wholesomeness of the food. I'm a former potter.
Love your videos my friend! You found great things!! Love Tiffany!! You’re both so sweet!! Love you and your channel!! God bless you and your family!! Much love my friend!! 🙏🙏❤️❤️💖💖🌸🌸💜💜🌺🌺💗💗💕💕😇😇💖💖❤️❤️🥰🥰🙂🙂🌹🌹🦋🦋🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🦜🦜🦜🦜🦜🦜🦜
Love my mixed match candles! I
Oh, I didn’t know you were moving. I wish you the best of luck on the move. Love those baby blankets.🥰
Yay I love when you shop with Tiffany it's so much fun to watch and you found some really cute stuff cant wait to see what Tiffany got too 👍😎
The purple container with the pipes, is a mate cup. Mate tea is very popular in South America, mainly Argentina, and those pipes are straws to drink the tea. You are really funny, I'm a new subscriber, so far I loving the video!!
I saw you sold the Gucci glasses you found. What a great find and even greater profit. I wish I could find great stuff like that in South Dakota. I been sourcing and bought packaging g materials. Now just need to start listing.
I saw some lovely glass veggies at a local antique mall. The prices were good, but the missing leaves and such ruined them. Darn!
The gourd is a “mate” container to drink Yerba mate (Argentina,Uruguay,Chile) the straws are usually made of alpaca metal or silver, the mouthpiece can be solid gold on good quality ones. The gourd maintains the temperature as mate is sipped hot!
I would have bought it
Some great finds x
Love the metal roses x
Good luck with the move x
Please keep safe and well x
Looks like you really scored on the linens and blankets very nice.👍😊♥️ Always enjoy your videos.
Yeah, I would put my glasses in that felted piece. I think it’s felted so the lenses don’t get scratched.
Yes what I thought too.
@@liddybird3608 what about billfold?
Glasses are a great idea. My first thought was watch but glasses makes more sense. We always called those a men's valet.
The wood vase looks like walnut or black walnut. Very dense wood. Bugs bunny's girl friend was named Lola.
Your glasses go in the felted part.
Being a jeweler, I’ve made earrings and rings out of plated silverware. The metal is really hard to bend, done it only once just to try it. I prefer sterling silver, metal is softer. I’m your neighbor from Phoenix, Az., love your thrifting.
They have a nice flow, it's comfortable to follow, and learn something without making an effort lol. Good job girls.
Steuben....Great Score!!!!
The small wooden vase looks like Oregon myrtlewood. Great finds! I always look forward to your videos. 🙂
That's what I was thinking. I have several pieces myself. The label probably came off.
I love mytlewood!
I could be wrong but I’m almost positive it’s made of olive wood and was possibly purchased in Israel. I’ve had some vases and nativity pieces that look exactly like that and are from olivewood. I actually usually keep them because I really like the wood a lot.
The love is gone lol
great trip 😊 thx
My best friend would looooove the owl lamp!!!
Also miss my up close eyesight! LOL. I bought a little loupe to attach to my keychain to help with those small imprints when I'm out sourcing.
The silver thing with snowman on top is for plates. Display cookies for Christmas.
Those blankets for a couple of dollars sure bring in the money in resale! Amazing. You had a great shopping day.
Great haul Danni! That crib board is fab! Love it 😍
Thank you for taking us shopping. ☺️💐🇬🇧
Great video. shopping with a friend is Always fun
Thanks for sharing and caring!
That felted space is where my grandfather placed his watch in order to protect the finished surface on the watch. Now and again he placed his glasses there but most often his pocket or wrist watch.
A watch in the Swatch box? Yes, bowls.
The silicon covers (sunflower and grape) are wonderful for hot pots during cooking, covering bowls on the table while serving or covering leftovers in bowls in the fridge. I love mine.
The roses its toleware from the 1960's
Mixed tall candlesticks such ad younhad are tall mushroom bottoms. Pair with a tall amberina glass.
Those brown, sort of, glasses right after the crystal are perfect for the tall candlesticks to make shaggy mane mushrooms!
That metal rack looks like a pie rack, a dessert display piece that you sit in the middle of the dessert table full of fancy, meringue-fluffy or fruit-drippy pies.
That cribbage board was awesome
Danni, you need to get a magnifying glass. I wear glasses too, but at times need the glass.
Dani, what do you think of getting a gopro instead of using your phone? The benefits might be viable. It gets both hands free and it's easy to wear. Would save you time when you need to open things and also so much easier to find the price tag. I think you'd love the freedom!
Freat items. Good shopping with Tiffany
That gourd is used to make a tea called mate. Mate is a leaf that Argentinians make a tea with. The straws are for sipping the tea as the leaves are left in the container. Don't know how much it was, but they regularly sell from $16 to $20 at antique shops. The metal tips of the straw are sometimes made of silver.
Girl bunny girl was Lola.
The gourd with the straws/pipe looking things are for a tea beverage where you leave the loose tea in the gourd while you keep adding water while you drink and the straw filters the tea leaves out while you drink.🐢
Your glasses go in the felted part
Awesome
Omg that owl lamp🥰
So calming 😊watching you go shopping before we prepare to be without power for a while in MS ❤️love your channel
@@marygbythec7491 Thank you and I thank The Dear Lord it seems to be small enough storm that we are only getting rain but I pray for Louisiana and hope it moves through quickly without a ton of damage
Praying for your safety!
@@TheNICHELady Thank you ….. I love watching you make your decisions on what to pick up for $20 bucks!!!! You crack me up 😂 . I follow several GW/ thrifters but only you and one other keep my attention. Keep up the great work and lots of luck with your new booth!!! And thank God we still have power 😊
The gourd is probably a cup with stainless straws . The round stand w/snowman is for plates :)
I love that cribbage board….
The man's jewelry box , that wooden part on top is where you put the lint brush, for when men wore suits.
Yall found some great things..♥️💗💜
Funny....I found that same Hager where I live..only in that pink they do...for $10!
I sold that same cutlery box just this past week! I also sell a lot of those McCoy and Watt bowls.
I Loooooove that Fish cribbage board 💚
NOT a dolphin! ... a porpoise! :D
I use plates in the holder with the snowman. It’s a tidbit tray holder.
That felt place on the swank mens jewelry box is for his wallet to sit in at night. :)
I used to play cribbage with my dad when I visited my parents in FL years back.
Good haul
The owl lamp! The owl lamp! You could ask 50!!!!
4:53 is called a gentleman’s butler and the felt covered piece would hold the wallet.
You definitely need a large Bougie on the front of T-shirt that says Best thrifting and Business Partners.
I love the red plater 💕
My sis is an amazing artist and she was like Rachel, always drawing from the time she could manipulate a pencil or crayon. She created two amazing watercolors at about age 6 (?) that I loved and managed to save through the years. She was thrilled when I gave them to her years ago and they are framed and still are proudly displayed. You can see an artist blooming from a very early age. Unfortunately, no one else in our family that I know of caught the artistic gene. Does Rachel sell her work on Etsy? I will have to look for it. On another note, do you check for lead on the bowls that are not sold as actual food bowls for your tortoises? I wonder about that.
Her Etsy is live although she hasn't gotten a lot in there yet.
Yes I do! I stick with the unglazed terra cotta usually
Dani on the box for men’s chest you can place your phone there for charging etc
Plus great place to also put watch keys wallet etc
Danni. I had the same issue with my glasses not working like they should. I went to Lense Crafters and they changed the material that my lenses were made out of and it changed everything!! I put up with not being able to see well for way too long. It’s like a new world now that I can see!! Please go to your eye dr or where you got your glasses. I love the way you always buy things for your kids!
Lola is Bug's girfriend's name
The climbing wall is a hoot !
I wish I could come over and visit your’s and Tiffany’s booth….but it’s a bit too far from the Netherlands….😄
The little bear blanket.you showed first is circa 1989. I made one exactly like it.
Lola Bunny
It's Lola Bunny
“I miss my eyesight the most”
Me, who’s eyesight has always been complete trash: 👁👄👁
At this point, I’m down to one eye and it’s starting to fail me more and more. It makes me so mad when I can’t see! Yes, that’s illogical, I know, but it’s so exasperating.
@@Lucinda_Jackson I know how you feel. My eye dr basically told me I’m legally blind and HAVE to wear my glasses all the time except for when I sleep obviously lol. My left eye is worse than my right. I’m only 27 and I know it’s just gonna get worse from here 😭
I’m sorry about your eyes, I hope you’re okay 🥺
@@jessicahusson8338
Aw, thanks! I’m fine. I lost vision in that eye about 10 years ago and the other is getting worse, but I’m hanging in there. I hope you’re okay, too! 💕
That was some great fines👍👍
Danni, Wilton Armetale pewter plates make great fall/Thanksgiving decor as well as plates to use.
The metal rack with snowman on top is to hold Pie Plates
Man great I team thanks for sharing.
Ya know, I love big shells; I have a fish aquarium with big shells so I looked on EBay to buy some but NOOOO they can sell for pretty high on EBay so if you ever find some you can resell them 😃
His glasses go in the velvety top part of the wooden box from Swank!
The brown mixing bowl is McCoy pottery, I believe it is called a basket weave pattern
Good find on the pet carrier for $10!
