My cascadia DD15 just has the same problem after 1138900 miles. Not bad after all that miles but I have friends who get ISX ran out before mine .

Todos los motores isx si pasan compresión tienes que rectificar el block si no le cambias la cabeza y ba a aser lo mismo en un año después de cambiar la cabeza

Soy tu fan número uno he tratado de localizarle pero no he tenido éxito
Tengo un cascadia dd15 2010
Con problema de freno de motor no se activa se escaneo y no marca ninguna falla le compre los selenoides usados pero tampoco el LED del tablero si se activa al presionar y soltar el acelerador se activa los selenoides con 12 .35 voltios y manda aceite por un lado me jala el desarmador por el magnetismo ya se ajusto el freno de motor a 4.61mm pero nada agradecería mucho me ayudaras por favor

Francisco que tal estoy teniendo problemas con un motor isx en el sistema de refrigeración si no tuviera malo el compresor y el gasket del cabezote tendría problemas también en el sistema de igr que podrías opinarme dd le puedo buscar para no hacer gastar mucho dinero al cliente estos motores son muy pocos en Nicaragua y estaré haciendo mis pruebas más comunes en lo único que estoy con dudas es en esa parte del igr si tiene mucho que ver

On my Volvo D13 engine, I spent about $700 dollars on main bearing, rod bearing and main cap bolts.

@@StickNclutch I went with Aftermarket parts, made by PAI for the volvo D13 EPA10, master rebuild kit was 4k, crankshaft polish was $350, engine counterbore cut and deck resurfaced was $850 and cylinder head was resurfaced, replaced burnt valves, new injector cups and valve stems with seals, total $1970

Tengo algo parecido pasandole a mi motor tiene ruido y smoke y nadie sabe q tiene, el smoke por el respirador tubo el q va d arriba por atrás para abajo del motor y a lot of Black smoke por el tubo escape, y cuando le quito el pie del acelerador tiende como q a parar rápidamente como si tuviera el engine break on pero no engine breaking noise, mi motor es Detroit series 60 , so tengo que ver si es presión o inyectores o tune up or alguna válvula floja , bueno que usted cree que pueda ser ?

Im not Francisco Amaya but I own a fleet of trucks, and I'll tell you this, ISX15 is garbage, just go to your local heavy truck salvage yard and you will see red engines seized all over the yard and , parts are very expensive, I preffer dd15 and highly preffer Volvo D13, I've seen these engines go over 1 million miles with very little parts replacement, the old timer mechanics will tell you cummins N14 , N11 and series 60 12.7L or Caterpillar 3406.

Remplaza l mitad de los frenos, no quites todos los "botes" Solo reemplaza lo que esta fallando. Pero con cuidado. Cuidado con los resortes

Vaya esto es muy raro , nunca me pasó esto con un Isx , trabajé en un distribuidor cummins y nunca vi nada como esto tornillos degollados y vaya que arme y desarme bastantes Isx, para mi y en mi experiencia los barrenos pudieron estar sucios llenos de aceite y diésel y no los limpiaron antes de poner la cabeza ,la misma superficie de asiento entre tornillo y cabeza puedo estar sucia y no permitir que el tornillo asentará bien y el esfuerzo no fuera parejo y provocó que los tornillos se rompieran, un mal procedimiento de torque ya que estos tornillos llevan torque más ángulo de echo en uno de ellos se ve que pudo haber sido eso , realmente a mi me parece que fue un mal trabajo de armado previo, no es que los componentes no fallen , pero no de ese modo, cuando trabajé en el distribuidor y revisaba garantías o fallas la mayoría eran por malas prácticas hechas por malos mecánicos o abuso del motor saludos!!!

Yo creo que el problema aqui es TORQUE excesivo al poner los tornillos! Y despues el frio y calor hicieron el resto!
