2018: finished night shift in Karratha on Wednesday morning, drove to Melbourne to watch you legends, arrived at 4:30 PM Friday, went to the game, few drinks after with some mates, woke up Sunday morning and drove back to WA.

Put it this way, if West Coast and Dockers folded and AFL became VFL, about 2,500 people lose their jobs and the west Australian newspaper itself halves in size, maybe even goes out of business (particularly if harvey norman tighten the purse strings). But if the west australian newspaper folded, there would be no negative impact on WA whatsoever, couple hundred jobs maybe go and we save a bit of paper.

GOAT interceptor Albany represent! - i dont know if im off base here but if there was going to be a 20th team (and it to be in WA) does Albany not make sense?(haven't heard this take before and is only reason for raising it) - flights to Perth in just over an hour (if the Albany Sharks home ground is still optus obviously) but its the only other major center in WA that makes sense(future mid to long term growth/investment/economics in Albany is probably better justified than a new NT team or a third QLD/NSW/SA team?
