Browny can say what he wants 😂. He’s not just some flog in a bar (or Sam McClure), he’s one of the most respected players in history so I don’t take it to heart.

About the story of the famous 5 goal Juddy game at GABBA in 2003 (I think it was 03)… as an Eagles nuffy I regard that as our most impressive home and away/non-finals win of all time
No disrespect to our legendary golden early 90’s Eagles… they will remain in our hearts forever, we were so dominant then… but if I have to pick just 1 home and away greatest win ever… it’s that GABBA game during the threepeat Lions at their absolute peak
I think during 2001-2003 the Lions only lost about 4 games at home, their worst day was a 20 point loss… until we just blew them out of the water by 69 on their home turf 😂. It was such a rarity and was so out of left field that we were in disbelief.
Brisbane were like the 2000 Bombers/95 blue-baggers in 2003 at home, no one could touch them with a 50 ft pole… so i safely put this game as #1 in non-finals win

There is a lot more bias towards games that come down to the last kick, but thrashing the Lions while at the peak of their dynasty was the flawless game
Beforehand on paper we had no business getting close in the “Gabbattoir”… so winning by 11 goals? So yeh… this is a clear #1 in my book 😂 (season game/non final)
