  • Looking to use drones for roof inspections, specifically for water issues?
In this video, Varun from Hammer Missions walks you through a full workflow guide for carrying out building inspections using a drone.
🏛️ Conducting a thorough drone building survey requires prior planning and the right drone software. In this video, we're going to look at how you can use Hammer Missions to create an end-to-end automated building capture and processing workflow using commercial drones and mission-critical software.
Specifically, we will be looking at how you can capture the roof and facades of a building and combine them into one unified 3D model to conduct thorough inspections for Water ponding issues and create PDF reports to power data-driven decisions!

The ground offset is important however is it true that your ground offset is only as accurate as the numbers you put in? How can a pilot get the exact height of the structure to ensure the proper ground offset? I did not get the same experience wile trying to create a project. The facade map was all other the place and the roof map didn't show the complete map. some lines were missing and the proposed flight path for both seemed eradicate. I also got a different flight path for the same building every time I tried it.

Hi there! Ground offset should can be estimated by looking at the building on Google Earth initially and then the actual value for ground offset should be changed on site by using the drone to measure the building's height! Hope this helps. For any questions related to Hammer, please do get in touch with our support team at support@hammermissions.com
