Love the longer videos and more mundane weeks!! Makes the entire process look less intimidating, you should make a week of workouts video! Covering the equipment they offer and how you utilize it
i am glad to hear that this longer vlog was entertaining! i for sure had fun vlogging it! i would love to talk about the gym here. i'll have to find a time where it is less busy because i would never link to make anyone uncomfy by filming at all in the gym!

First of all. Loooove your videos. Second of all. Your pizza party night was legit!!! Do you have a recipe you like for pizza dough??? I’d love to try this
i remember when i did the dcp i would have shifts that would start at 3pm and i wouldnt get home until 2AM so i was straight up just too exhausted to do anything before work
that is so understandable omg
I’d may not mind working night shifts. Maybe I’d hit up some rides in the morning before the rides are too long, then clock into my shift at 3 pm.
yes! the best way to do it!
When I went to Disney springs for the first time in January we couldn’t go to Gideon because it was so crowded!

I just stumbled across your channel bc yesterday I got the ‘congratulations’ page after my WBI - currently waiting for my acceptance🤞🏼So out of curiosity, I think I understood you graduated college and then entered the DCP? If not, my bad! But I’m in the same boat, I graduated last May and I’m super intrigued to learn about the career opportunities Disney has to offer and the connections I can make during the DCP. I just wanted to ask, do you feel like you’ve made a lot of connections for your field? Or did you not have enough time, didn’t know where to start, etc. I know you mentioned those were your intentions in a video I watch, so I just wanted to hear how your experience is/was with that. Love your vlogs so much! I love seeing your life as a DCP? I love the longer, more realistic day videos! I just watched your Most magical moments and Ratatouille is my MOST FAVORITE Pixar movie too! All my friends make fun of me for it though. 😂I have a question for you though! Is the magic that you used to feel when you would go to WDW before you were in the program gone now that you work for Disney?
LOL all of my friends made fun of me for having a crush on linguine in ratatouille! that is such a good question! i truly still feel so much magic at disney world. even though i am not making my own memories every single day, witnessing our guests and their little kids make lifetime memories is what makes me feel the most magic.

I’m looking into applying to DCP but have done minimal research so far, so I have a couple of questions, if you don’t mind answering! 😊
- When you talk about going to the parks, have you bought separate tickets or are they included in DCP pricing?
- How are shifts assigned? Do you fill out an availability sheet for the month or is it randomized monthly? Can you choose where you want to work if you have a specialized college major?

to answer your questions...
1. when you work for disney, you get free admission into the parks!
2. shifts are given to you randomly. you have to have completely full availability to do the dcp! some people i know have consistent hours and regular days off, but a lot of roles switch up your schedule week to week.
3. you cannot choose where you work. sometimes your major plays a role in where you are located, but it is mostly based on where disney needs more cast members.

Hey Caitlyn! When you said you were going home, it sparked a question I have been curious about, does DCP give time off at all? (love your content by the way!
you don't get any guaranteed time off, but you can request time off or give shifts away to to other cast members to get days off!

i haven’t really thought much about how i maintain it LOL! mine has stayed pretty sparkly since i’ve gotten it but i have noticed that the sparkles occasionally fall off when i wear it
So I am considering joining the DCP Fall 2023, do you have any advise for living situations? Do you have roommates or do you live alone? Is there a significant cost difference? Loved the video :) very helpful for a realistic experience
i live in dcp housing! it is optional, but i 100% recommend it! living in dcp housing is a bit expensive, but it is a good way to meet people also in the program, it is very convenient and it is a good way to find future roommates that you can rent with in the future
what camera do you use?
When you're blocked can you buy tickets to go? I feel like if Hollywood Studios (my fav) was blocked for two months I'd rather just spend money to go for like a day at a time if that makes sense
yes! you can still buy your own day passes and go as a guest! it is quite pricey during peak season though (which is when we face the wrath of the blockout dates)
I actually applied to the DCP cause im struggling in PR and i want to start a new life in the US

hi!! i’m so glad i landed on your videos! i move in on may 23 and I was just wondering how the situation is w transportation, do you have your own car? is it really bad if you only rely on the provided transportation? also when do you leave ?
I have my own car! i personally enjoy the freedom of having it down here with me, but it is not necessary. all of my friends who rely on the DCP bus system have complaints, but they are still enjoying their programs to the fullest.

hiiii! I love all your vids! I got accepted into the DCP for July 11th. 2 questions. If your working in the parks and you get out, are you able to go in the park that you’re working in? Also, with the blue id, are you able to park hop from (example) Epcot to magic kingdom?
yay!!! congrats on your acceptance! time will fly here faster than you can imagine! 1. even if you are working in a park, you have to have a reservation to stay as a guest after your shift. if you don’t have one and you get caught by leadership you could get termed. 2. as long as you have a reservation for one park, you can park hop to any other park as long as we’re not blocked out!

You can do it whenever as long as you are registered and have finished a semester of school! I recommend doing it after you graduate!

it was given to me at random! i think my background in education may have affected their decision, but that is not guaranteed.

I actually flew down a couple of days early and bought a car here in florida! I was doing research on which dealerships were selling cars that fit my needs and budget!

I know you’ve said before you’re doing the dcp as someone who already graduated. Are there a decent amount of people who also do this? It’s not really possible for me to do during the school year, but I graduate next year and am thinking of applying then.
yes! almost all of my friends here have already graduated! i think it is the way to go just so that you have the freedom to choose what to do once your program is early.
