Thanks for the video it helped me alot! Im posting to give a tip for ppl who perhaps are struggling with the C + Spacebar method as I was, I started trying with CTRL and realized you dont need to have shift held when you hit jump + CTRL. Just make sure to hold it (shift) while climbing and right up until the point you hit spacebar and CTRL (or C) just like in his video. Ive started hitting it a decent amount this way. Hope this helps anyone, thx again for the tutorial NineLives.
Thanks man, appreciate it. Pinned your comment so other people can see it if they are struggling with the space + C method. That's just what I found worked for me, but it is all preference. Glad the guide helped man :)
@@NineLives9 wait so holding shift is important?
@@maxwellmorris9189 no, holding shift doesnt matter. I just do it out of habit
stills not working, uff I'm probably not good enough to do that :(
@@vaffanclash i doing this with spacebar ( jump) + mouse 4 (crouch) , so what i do : i use left hand and right hand too , it was easier way to do right :)
I love how there is so much movement mechanics to learn on this game
Me too man, so much to learn and master :)
You hanics
@@meowcow21 haha very clever, his hanics
@@meowcow21 fixed 😀

The biggest tip I found that helped me was to know when I was early and when I was late. If you jump in the air and get no boost, you're late. If you don't jump at all, you're early. This helped me out a TON when learning the timing, hope this can help another too!
what is better , the hold crouch or the toggle , for this
@@trickshot9718 I’d say try your best to make it work with hold crouch, that movement is essential
This is the most useful information thank you
This actually helped me so much within minutes of trying to focus on this window
my question is can i make a macro for it? like a space plus ctrl?
I'm just gonne leave this here:
It took me SUPER LONG to figure out that you actually need to input jump first. I just realized that and suddenly I can superglide. Basically if you're using spacebar and C, make sure to hit spacebar first, and C after. Still almost at the same time but in order.
I watched a bunch of guides on this and nobody mentioned it in any of them
yeah i actually realized this shortly after making this guide and could just never be bothered making a new one, you can see i8t in the key inputs but at the time i wasn't sure. thanks for the comment also man, hopefully other people that are struggling read this :)
C would that be bound to hold or toggle crouch???
@@M3tr1cTTV doesn't matter. I use hold
I LOVE YOU SO MUCH BRUH THANK YOU
i love you so much for this
A tip that helped me get more consistent quicker was before you climb a wall look straight down.
Your camera will jolt upwards as the climbing animation begins and this got me to have a better visual indicator to when to slide jump.
Doing this with rampart walls is especially helpful because they're quite short. This makes it so that the jolt is almost perfectly timed with the time frame you need to do the super glide inputs.
this was so helpful tysm
i love u
Crazy useful! Thanks
you made my glides change from 25% to 75% my guy wowza
yes thank you this comment actually helped me a lot much appreciated
Oh my, I had been struggling doing this and completely gave up on it. Out of curiosity I tried again with the help of this guide, and it finally clicked. I bound an alternative key for crouch on c, and it really feels like hitting space and c simultaneously. The main issue was when to hit the keys on climb animation, and with just 10 minutes of practice I already succeed 3/5 times. Thanks dude
Just a quick tip/addition that kept me from gliding for a long time is to use crouch (hold) and not crouch (toggle) as i was doing, the minute i swapped them i started super gliding 9/10 times
As soon as i started hitting c and space bar with my thumb i started hitting my superglides a lot more often. Thanks so much, great video
To get it most of the time is by using the sound cue when your character climbs up something. For instance when your character does the last "huf" when climbing press space bar to super glide.
ur the goat, this helped alot
Ok but wich legend do you use ?? it's a different voice and timing .. if you can remember that would help :)
this is so insane, my consistency has gone up to 5/10 from 1/10
UNDERRATED
haha thanks man, appreciate it. glad it helped you man
you could have used 1/2, to make the dummies confused
@@btnoodlez you just learn your fractions or something that would trick no one
Appreciate your calm, direct tone, excellent tutorial! Helped me a lot so thank you
Thanks dude, glad it helped :) appreciate the positive feedback
As soon as I see it on the apex rollout subreddit i instantly clicked on it and also thx for the guide the timing indeed can be a little tricky but im pretty sure this is worth learning and again thx bro ima try it in the firing range
Oh yep thought I'd share it on the roll outs reddit as those players are generally gonna be most interested in this type of thing haha, also you're welcome man, hope it helps :)
i've never superglided before watching this video and after watching i've done it about 5/50 times this really helped thanks man :)
that's sick man, glad I could help :) good luck
Someone didn't take math class
Thank you so much never thought I’d be able to finally consistent with the super glide after one video!!! Keep up the good videos!
You saved me so much time. I binding crouch and jump at the same button and have been trying to do super glide for so long like that, i thought that im just bad timing super gliding.
i've been doing it maybe for 1 year now, thanks that helped me a lot
I'm on controller but your guide helped me figure out the timing. I was using my left paddle for crouch and right paddle for jump but your video made me realize having each input on a separate hand was messing up my timing so now I use my right stick to crouch and right paddle to jump. I instantly saw an improvement in my consistency.
Thats sick dude, glad it helped :) you'll keep improving more from here
What do you mean paddle bc I wanna try to do this
@@scarcetiger2165 I have a set of playstation brand paddles (look up playstation back button attachment) that attaches to my controller and gives me two buttons on the back of the controller. I have the two buttons set to crouch and jump so I can crouch and jump without taking my thumb off of my right stick.
@@sparkybigtime1353 ah OK in the mean time I put my jump at R1 and my crouch/slide at R3 so I figured it out but thank you anyways 👍
That was actually a great tip with resting thumb on left side of spacebar. In my 2 years of playing apex I have hit a total of 4 super glides.
5 minutes after watching this video that number has doubled!
Even tho this is 2 years old, still helped me alot. The pressing C+Space at the same time with the left thumb was a crazy idea, thanks.
It’s very hard to do at first, but keep trying because after 10-15 you should get very close.
Once you figure it out, find a rhythm between the input, like
1 (jump/climb) 2 (jump+slide).
If you find that rhythm it makes it so much easier to do it consistently, because it turns it into muscle memory a bit faster. The rhythm changes depending on the height of the object, but a rough estimate will help you figure it out
bro i swear i was deep reading this commend and tried it after reading it, and jesus i can do it now
The c + space with the thumb made me win so much time, I can do superglides now, not everytime but at least more often. Thanks !
Thank you so much, I been doing this whole watching the video and I been hitting more super glides, thank you sir🙏
Good to hear :) glad it helped
This video helped me out so much thank you!
This is an amazing video, and once i heard the c spacebar mehtod I was hitting it much more often at better speeds, thanks a lot
i watched a few already but only got it consistently after this video. thanks man.
ypu helped me with supergliding, Thank you my friend
ALRIGHT, i'll subscribe for that! brilliant thank you
Thank u for the Tutorial mate I can do 1 super glide every 5 minutes now :))) (hope that becomes better soon)
hope it helps you man, yeah sorry the tips are mostly pc specific, unfortunately
your video is the one who has helpeed me hitt consistent superglides, thank you a lot
Thats sick man, glad i could help :)
Much thanks, will up my game with this movement technique.
BROOOOOO!!! Thanks for this guide, i tried using the crouch and mousewheel for jump but couldn't do it once after a few days but saw the c+space bar with thumb, worked instantly and now just have to get used to it.
it worked thank you
very helpful. managed to be consistent with mouse button crouch before u mentioned it was harder but the video is still great.
I really do recommend (if u have down scr as jump) have your back or front side button as crouch (or just use one hand for both inputs)
This makes the movement more smooth and feel better :)
Yeah I always preferred mouse5 as my crouch bind over the default
Great video man!! Helped a bunch and appreciate you sharing!
thats sick man, clag it helped. thanks
Great video, got my super glide more consistent now!
Awesome, thank you!
Thanks so much, just got my first super glide after a few minutes
Glad to hear that man, happy I could help :)
thank you a lot, i though i was doing it correctly, but using c and space made it so that i managed to actually do it first time after just 2 min of moving around, great help
Thanks for the video it helped me i will subscribe(:
this really helped ty
Thanks for the tips. Learned how to super glide today!
this was a big help thanks
'
ngl I could never do it until I did C and spacebar same time like u said and now im able to do it so thank u so much man
hugeeee bro, before i was hititing like 1/5 and the first time i tabbed back into apex after watching this i got it 3 times in a row, cheers
thats sick man, cheers
Just realised i've been doing the glide part for ages in the form of a slide after climbing so it's literally as easy as jumping at the same time you would press side. wtf this is wild xD
well done mate!
took me literally five minutes with your "close binding" with c and space bar thx dude apreciate it !
You're welcome man, glad it helped :)
OMG i went from 1/20 succesfull tries, to 8/10 succesfull tries! TY SO MUCH. Did the thumb on both space and c at the same time. Works like a charm!
thanks helped alot
this helped me out a lot. I got consistent with it within 5 mins with this guide. The main thing that helped me was the fact that you press space a frame before crouch and not at the same time
Thats sick man, glad it helped. I made this guide with the key inputs because i felt it wouldve been helpful to me when i was learning superglides, but had to just kind of experiment and figure it out myself
big thanks for this video man. helped me alot!
Good to hear dude, cheers :)
What i found cool is that along with trydodis's comment, if you play octane, you get a more profound jerk on your screen, also it works without looking down, and you can see if the superglide, was a superglide or not fairly easy due to the speed boost with octane
good guide man :)) good job helping people it would have helped me!
Thank you man, glad its helping people learn :)
@@NineLives9 yea sir learn something every day
Took me about 10mins to be able to hit about half of the time after watching this video thanks man helped a lot
Glad it helped man, thankyou
this literally was able to make me super glide in 5 minutes, which is really fast! thanks!!!
That's why I made the guide, glad it helped man :)
Thank you so much

This helped alotttt
Glad it helped man, good luck :)
I still haven’t done a super glide and I’ve watched countless tutorials and i am getting so frustrated trying it.I’ve been doing something that at first I thought was a super glide but I figured it out that what your doing is much faster.(that was a heartbreaking moment for me lol)
Yeah a lot of people actually have that problem at first, they think they're super gliding but not actually. Can't really give any helpful tips other than practice and find the timing
@@NineLives9 I’ve been trying for hours and I haven’t done it once I might give up but thanks for the tips
thx so much for the video. this entire time i dident know you had to hold shift and know i can do it quite consistently
You don't have to hold shift man, glad the vid helped though. Recently saw a post on the rollouts reddit about a config file that gives 100% consistency with supergliding and makes it very easy. Will try to make a video on that soon :)
@@NineLives9 ah ok
@@NineLives9 did you ever post this video?
@@joesenseii yeah I did, can search it in my videos
bro i was trying to do it for hours upon hours and never got it but i decided to just sit back and be like imma watch the whole video and listen to his words and it was the double binding that messed me up thank you so much.
Haha no worries man, yeah I tried to explain it in detail
This helped me alloy thanks
thanks bro👍
loving the guides bro, thanks so much for these movement gems! Would it be possible to do your movement guides in 3rd person?
Thanks dude, glad you enjoyed and found it helpful. Yeah I can do it in 3rd person, or even give examples in both POV's. Any suggestions on another movement guide you would like to see?
@@NineLives9 yeah that would be great and maybe even add in-game clips where you used them (like in your advanced tap strafe wall bounce video, would be awesome to have an in-game example of how you used the corner tap strafe wall bounce to throw off your opponent). Another movement guide I'd like to see would be avoiding taking damage while close range (referencing the movement you did to avoid shots from octane in your How To Use Movement To Win Fights video @2:59).
@@alienflames4799 thanks for the constructive feedback man, I really appreciate it. ill try incorporate this into my next guides and give example clips of me using the technique in game :)
@@NineLives9 the fact you even responded tells volumes of the quality of your content in such a great way. I'm excited for What's to come and thanks again for what you've already provided
thank you so much this helped but i have an other tip if your legend is always sliding when you are trying to do it i found out the doing it earlier in the climb helps.
good choice in music, kudasai is amazing
Yeah nice and chilled background music, I like it. Cheers
i appreciate the kudasai in the background
got my first superglide while watching this, proceed to get 5 more in 15 mins. thanks very much
shesh i did it first try thx :DDDD
good luck on the channel man
thankyou dude
I have noticed some legends are easier to super glide than others. Rampart and horizon are great legends to practice with and they seem to have more tolerance to the timings than other legends
Throwing the like that's for being open about wanting to grow your channel heres what I can do to support
Haha cheers dude, appreciate it alot :)
I’ve always used B as my crouch with my thumb so that should make this real simple to get used to for me, thanks for the video!
Good luck man, thankyou :)
Thats what my key binfing it, u figure it out?
Huge tip that helped me is pressing space before crouch, go it instantly!
Helped a lot couldn’t do it normally with my shift being slide but after I changed it to c I saw that I could do it easily and I practice timing it and now I can do it with shift !
Nice
watching yours video got me superglide in 2minutes
other people video didn't get me anything
ty gonna practice more
That's good to hear man, really glad it helped you :) thanks for the comment
Great video man, got it first try :D
Sick dude, glad it helped :)
I was really struggling with having crouch as Lctrl but putting C as crouch made superglides really easy.
Can u not just do it while using ur toggle to crouch key
Pressing Spacebar + C with a thumb, Divine!
Dude this actually works so well wtf I got three in a row right away
thx for the guide
you're welcome :)
Learned it in my first session after watching this
The best way is swap the keys, make spacebar your crouch key and make c or b or v for jump, trust me
helped alot hit it after5 mins
nice to see a fellow mouse croucher, the true gigachads of apex
Hit my first super glide in the range after this vid. cheers
Sick dude, glad I could help :)
thx so much bro
You are most welcome sir
VERY WELL EXPLAINED EXCELLENT VIDEO I SUBBED
Thanks dude, glad you found it helpful
I can't wall hop well or tap strafe really, but now you said it's impossible to hit everytime I feel I must transform into a human machine lmao
Practicing it for days and learn it easily
That's awesome man, a lot of people have this guide really helped them, I'm glad to hear I could help :)
Aye bro I just learned and I can do it like 70% of the time thx czcams.com/video/p9h30NJkGWM/video.html
@@Mocha2x nice dude
Before this video I was struggling wondering if my pepega brain could even do it. After watching and practicing for like 3 mins I started to already hit them haha. Record so far is 5 in a row. The thumb on c and space trick worked wonders. before I was trying to use my index on c and thumb on space but it felt terrible and just was bad.
Thank you so much!
perfect guide
Thanks :)
3:52 That trick of pushing c and spacebar with the thumb really eorks like you hit the super glide very consistenly
do you prefer using your thumb to press c and space at the same time or your pointer finger??
Thumb
Hey bro this vid really helped me out i was strugglin
thats sick dude, cheers
Thank to you I got my first one in about 5 times but it will get a while to be consistant nice video
That's sick dude, good to hear. Glad it helped :)
Bro tysm
I've been doing it right this entire time lmao
Been sat here doing it for about an hour in the firing range and thinking 'i just need to get the timing perfect'
Turns out I've been doing it consistently for the past 45 minutes
Imo it's super easy on controller, literally just press jump and hold crouch after you vault over the object. You'll see your screen shake a little bit try and do it so you let go of jump after the shake.
After a while you'll have it down to muscle memory
LIterally hit 3 in a row after binding c to crouch and hitting it + space with my thumb after 20 mins of failing. Absolute massive tip
Dude literally sat here for twenty minutes couldnt get one and did that and now i can get it each time every time
Thanks for doing this I was looking for this
