I really love the pesto idea, I cannot wait to make this. Still missing seeing you and Bridget kidding each other, but Julia you are so engaging. I’m a huge fan.
But Julia didn't leave ATK, did she? Not sure what you meant.
Watch on tv all the time - like this way!
@@lauraarldt8139 I think she meant since they’re all filming at home (it seems) separately due to quarantine.
pesto is a garbage idea… recipe was over for me at that moment, no point in making it… not cooking with storebought crap
@@MikehMike01 too bad you didn't try it. Or get the concept that this was a SIMPLE and EASY recipe. And like it or not, the meatballs were actually tasty. And my husband is a meatball purist.
I've been a fan of Julia since the early days of ATK. I just love seeing her at home preparing for her family just like me.
Julia is a god. Love her
I've made this recipe 4 times since this video was posted. It's definitely become a family favorite. Sometimes I've baked the meatballs instead of frying them just to make things even simpler. (375 degrees Fahrenheit for about 20 minutes until their internal temperature reads above 160).
Thank you I would rather bake them too so the top of the stove is free!!
JULIA. THESE MEATBALLS. OMG. I made a batch of these (using ground turkey) last night and reheated them for dinner. My mom and I both agreed they're among the best meatballs we've ever had. She was shocked when I told her they weren't beef because the taste AND texture were so good. Honestly, I don't see a reason to use any other meatball recipe again. These are just PERFECT as written and were 100 percent done in like 40 minutes.
One thing I want to note: Classico brand jarred pesto, in the pasta aisle, is nut-free. That's what I used because I'm allergic to nuts. I don't think the meatballs suffered at all from using the stuff on the shelf. Still had plenty of oil in them, too.
I love watching Julia....not too "cheffy", makes me think I can do this too!
She also cracks me up. She's so much fun to watch in the kitchen.
You can do this just do what she did and you’ll be loving it
Julia, loves to cook and eat and I am not trying to be mean, I am a big fan of hers and Brigette
I like that she's got the same problems I do... a picky child that doesn't like big onion chunks. I can relate.
@@lexwaldez No child likes big onion chunks, in fact very few people, like big onion chunks
Julia, I love the realism and the inclusion of small family details. I've loved watching you for years, and this only adds to the shine! Keep up the inspirational cooking. I have learned so much from you, Bridget and the whole ATK staff.
I tried this recipe and it’s now my new favorite! Delicious! The pesto made all the difference in making the turkey moist and flavorful. Well done Julia!
So easy too! They were delicious.
Just made these tonight for dinner...absolutely awesome! The pesto kept the meatballs super flavorful and moist. And not too many ingredients which is great!
Another recipe to love from you Julia, my husband tends to fix jar sauce which to me none match my taste so I searched for a homemade recipe & hit on yours & it is delicious & easy to follow, thanks again!!
"Maybe they'll stay round this time, hehe, no they won't". "Maybe I should start calling them meat poofs".
(Hums "Tarantella Napoletana").
"Ian! Just kidding".
"Don't ask me why it's 10 seconds".
Stream-of-consciousness Julia is the best Julia.
Round meatballs= aebleskiver pan
I love the idea of adding pesto... Im absolutely making this!..Thank you!
Julia you're an amazing chef! You explain and teach without making it look so complicated...Thanks for this recipe, I'll be making it soon!
Julia! I just can't with you! You are literally one of my favorite people to watch on TV, and CZcams. I'm a Rochester girl too, I must be vibing 😁 Please do more of these "at home" videos. Best ever!
Probably the classiest cooking demonstration I have ever seen!
I loved this episode! Julia seems to be at her absolute most natural. This looks like an almost impossibly easy way to make spaghetti and meatballs. Will definitely have to try
Julia has the most amazing presence, and I love her little hair bandana.
@@kevinpoole1543 right?
I shared with both my daughter's especially since 1 of the husbands is a spaghetti Disser. I really think he'll enjoy this 1🤞 Love your sense of humor as well.
Omg I love this “regular folk” attitude. This makes it so approachable and relatable and reminds of the usual rush I have on the weekends to cook. Great job, Julia! Oh, and the recipe is the keeper.
This is one of our favorite dishes, Julia!! Thanks for the great tips!! 👍
I made meatballs for the first time because of this recipe and they were…A-MA-Zing! I would have made the sauce but I confess that while in the store getting the breadcrumbs (the only item I didn’t already have) I remembered Homemade Rao’s Marinara & used that. The combo was perfect! Truly the easiest & best tasting recipe that will become a staple.
Love this recipe Julia! You are my absolute favorite cook! I watch CC & ATK all the time. Thank you for all the great recipes & cooking tips & tricks!
Thanks for sharing your recipe Julia! You’re the real deal of home cooking!
Made this today with my 5 year old grandson, Hayes.. We both loved them! Thanks so much. We used 2 lbs of ground turkey an a little bit more of the Panko crumbs. We watched your video as we cooked. Hayes combined everything with his hands and formed them. He also helped with the sauce, processing the tomatoes and adding the meatballs.
Julia ur the best! I’ve made yours since that one particular show so very long ago…Married to IT Master of Pasta, so quick & easy…has his approval. Thank you Madam!
Really enjoyed cooking with you Julia. Your family is so lucky they have you. Happy Easter 🐣
This is one of my favorite shows, Julia! And, it is so easy to make and delicious to eat!
Hi Julia,
I love homemade spaghetti and I too use ground turkey but never thought of using store bought pesto; your recipe sounds absolutely delicious and I will try it. Thanks. ☺️
i like this lady, shes so relateable. and shes a great chef but down to earth!!
Julia, you're Amazing! Much Love to you and your Family!
Made this today. Yes: flavorful meatballs! Thank you, Julia! My go to is the Cook's Country from about 15 years ago, but the pesto is genius and the simplicity of this recipe is irresistible.
This looks amazing! A great weeknight meal for the family. Thanks for sharing your home and the recipe. Cheers
Absolutely making this! Looks delish
Totally yummy I am definitely trying this recipe
I think I just saw my brand new favorite go to easy dinner. Then again Julia makes it look easy. I'll have to test it and see.
Will try and will love
Spectacular cooking video from this talented TV personality! More please!
This looks delicious. Then again, everything from Julia is amazing! Love these guys. This is easy enough for a weeknight but the family style platter would be great for guests too!
Well done to the zesty chef! You do this with a song in your heart and a step in your step. Thank you!!
I absolutely just love you and the staff of ATK/CC I cook your recipes all the time. Love’em love the kitchen hacks and ratting products and tasting things for what makes you happy!!! Thank you for the job well done
Love your program. Great recipes.
I am a big fan of homemade meatballs. I use 2 lbs ground beef, 90%, 1 lb pork and 1 lb turkey. I scoop onto a sheet pan and bake at 375-400 for 30-40 min, on the bottom half of the oven, until brown. I remove 3/4 to cool and bag for the freezer - no Costo meatballs for me. Then I drain the oil and scrape drippings in the skillet for the sauce. Added bonus of Quick meals in the freezer.
I love your tutorials! Thank you for sharing!❤️🥰
Thank you 😊 I love how you cook at home very fun and relax ❤

Loved it. Motivated me to buy ground chicken and prepare this dish. Love easy nutritious meals, without fancy complicated ingredients, using what we normally maintain in our pantry. Thanks.
Turkey is better.
Love this format!
I really like your method I literally like you a lot and I just went out and got all the ingredients to make these meatballs cuz I've always wanted to make a really good meatball recipe, so I can't wait to try this and thank you very much.
How’d it turn out for you?
My family fell in love with angel hair pasta (Barilla)
I always use a meat sauce, instead of meatballs.....
I'll have to prepare this meatball dish of yours to check it out, & finally change it up some.
Have a great week. 👍

Ms Julia, I like the way you talk and operate. Very no nonsense and practical but very appealing. Thank you.
Wow 🤩 I came upon your channel, love how quick you started your video. You really went on a roll straight to cooking. When I click on a video and hear the person yapping and yapping, I close that channel right up. But you are awesome. Your presentation just awed me. Quick and easy, less talk.🤩looks delicious. And I am going to follow your recipe. I’ve never heard of pesto added to meat. Definitely sounds yummy. Thank you 🙏🏽
