- Ida Zetterström and the RF Motorsport team sets a new European ET record for Top Fuel dragsters while they also become the first European team to break into the 3.7 second zone with a 3.782 pass.
This was at the first round of the European championship at Santa Pod raceway, Main Event 2022

It's such a shame that the top fuel field is so depleted this year, especially after it was so strong before covid shut everything down. With 9-10 competitors the future was looking really bright indeed.
Hopefully the field will strengthen again over the next few years with teams being able to secure the sponsorships they need to race.
Thank you! We have a great team spirit and work very well together and that makes it really sweet.
It is a shame that the class is so small this year, we are definitely still swinging for the fences and trying to put on a great show for the spectators and I'm hoping the car count will come back up soon, the sport needs it.

What was the speed?
quite low for the ET, 301.92 mph. Blower belt snapped just befor finish line and it brought the speed down
