All have passed, but Otis keeps on keeping on. So good to see the guys together and My Girl was one of my all -time favorites. We would go to parties and try to imitate their choreography. I love their first album everything on it was a hit. Love Dr. Doo Wop

It is amazing to see David lead the song and never miss a step in choreography with the group. Simply awesome. And his own ad libbed steps and arm movements were so sweet and rythmatic and handsome and sexy and one of a kind! And his hair is beautiful here to. Glasses or not HANDSOME!

My sister used to watch this show everyday after school and I'd have to miss my f'ing cartoons...sadly, she was right (as usual), I should'a chucked the cartoons and watched Lloyd Thaxton with her on KCOP 13, especially when The Tempts were on, damn it!
i know a lot of people haven’t seen david without his glasses but it was a pretty common occurrence in the early days of the temptations.

Looks like Ruff forgot his cufflinks 😕 He still the man though. I'd take him with no cufflinks compared to the parade of replacement singers since '68 (excuding Dennis and Ollie) who have tried to sing the cuts he made famous. The Classic Five will always personify THE Temptations!

Melvin Franklin was the only one to have classic training everyone else had natural God gifted talent. This is when our people were on a higher frequency. To the true "Emperors of Soul". Sissy look at the culture of the audience. We were not invited in the sixties to be on T.V. even though the performers were Black/African American. Have you ever known this race of people to have any sense of timing and rhythm? I'm not being prejudice just stating the facts. Cora Guice
