Great items to have in tow. In my beach bag I always have a spray bottle with vinegar in it for jelly fish stings. I also take a mini 1st aid kit for my dog. Where we live there is a dedicated dog beach! I'm always afraid he'll get a cut paw/paw pad from a shell or maybe broken glass. So, I carry gauze and self adhering Ace bandages plus Neosporin and Benadryl.
Love your organization and your bags! I am in love with the LuLuLemon bag! I don't have a swimming bag for myself, but I have a little cute one for my girls (3 & 1 yrs). A good friend bought the bag for my oldest daughter a couple of years ago while on a Disney Cruise. It's an adorable water proof bag with all of the characters decked out for cruising, pictured on the bag. I saw this cool idea on Pinterest about storing earbuds. This lady, took a travel Qtip Case took the insert out, wrapped the buds around the cardboard, and it fits inside, and is in a nice neat plastic case. Perfect for the beach. I tried it and love it.

I loved your beach bag videos. I am a beach lover (living in Florida), my is always packed and ready to go with basically the same things. I always pack Aveeno Hair Detangler, which is soo awesome, I have dry long hair, and since I like to boogie board, my hair gets messy and salty.Comb it in before I leave the beach, o that when I shower at home, my hair is manageable and feels so silky. Sometimes I bring my dog in my beach bag (she loves to go in my bags),to the dog beach! Bring on Filofax!
I love the two in one beach bag, I've defianately got the creative juices going so I might get the sewing machine out and do one like it.

The beach bag with a removable insert is brilliant! I would love to have one for myself.
I did the same with my iPod and headphones when I was in school. On the train to and from campus or while I was walking, I'd keep my iPod in one of the smaller zipper sections in my backpack with the wire for my headphones peaking through the zipper. That way I wasn't flashing my iPod around and if I had to get up quickly on the train, I didn't have to juggle with my backpack and iPod.

Love it! I also like to carry a small bottle of baby powder in my beach bag. Sprinkle a little on the skin and it helps to loosen any sticky sand so you can easily brush it off. Sticky sunscreen, sweat, and sand... Never a good combo so the baby powder is a great little trick! :)

Depends on the shop. Most big stores are not. Small shops are often closed.

Hi Jen, love these videos, really gives you good ideas on what to have on hand when you are traveling or going to the pool, beach. I love the idea of having 2 different bags one for Utah and one for home.

I also received those ear buds from my birchbox. They came at a really good time because I was just about to buy new ones, lol!
i carry a sarong, a make up bag which is sunblock lotion, hair brush, hair clip, lip balm and hand sanitizer inside, fruits / snacks, a book / a magz, cash, house keys, and sunglasses in my beach bag. Simple yes? Because the beach is 5 mins by bike from where I live. And this is kind of a private beach belong to a restaurant, so if i'm hungry or thirsty, just go there and i still can enjoy the beach. =)

Jen, you are brilliant, your videos are always useful. I am always on the look out for new products. I only get a bit disappointed as I found out the container store will not ship to Australia. One day I will go to the US and madly shop at some of the store you mention that we do not have here in Australia. Keep up the great work. Debbie

I use the same Healthy Sexy Hair leave in conditioner spray and I find it works wonders at preventing tangles if you spray it on before swimming...just love that stuff!! I also carry a comb, a few different sunscreens, blotting papers, Babylips & Fresh lipglosses w/ SPF, headphones, snacks, towels, Evian face spray and my current read :-) Thanks for the great series Jen...you did an awesome job on them! xoxo

hello :) I was wondering if you could give some tips on how to efficiently organize a small closet, I don't know if you have a smaller closet in Utah, but if you could give some pointers it would be much appreciated. Somehow whenever I organize my closet it never holds up for more than a month... ps: I'm Portuguese, please excuse my poor English grammar and thank you for sharing your videos with us :)

I would think a beach pass is similar to pool pass. They may belong to a club that has member only beach area.

I am being nosey, but where did you get your organizing talents from? Is your mom organized? When I was a kid I rarely got in trouble, I was very good. But, I must admit my room was always a mess and my mom would get so mad. Ugg!!! I bet your bedroom was always clean :)

I noticed that you don't carry a sewing kit in your bag when traveling.... I always have one for emergency sewing.

Wait until you have kids! All that organizing is going to be so hard to get done LOL! My beach and pool bags consist in diapers, monster high dolls and snacks galore hahaha! I have no space for beauty care products or books anymore!
