As someone who also worked in retail I have no words for this lady. I worked at a clothes' store with maybe hundreds of customers daily and there were times I had to stay over 2 hours just to organize the store after it closed. People can be so messy and have 0 consideration for retail workers. This woman on the other hand, is like the dream customer.
One time I was organizing the pants at Costco (just because it was so messy but I don't work there) and one of the workers saw me and thanked me in the most sweet way, I just said "it's no problem I like to fold pants 😅"

you could get a friend to do it with so you don't feel as weird or judged!! usually we stop feeling weird or scared of doing something if there's someone there to keep us company :)
You can actually have a job that does this. We have managers who cannot run their own store anymore but can still work who jump from store to store and that’s all they do , set up Christmas , reorganize value valley , put out summer and put up planograms

Yay! I’m not the only one that does this! I always feel a little embarrassed if someone catches me but I like doing it, it’s super calming. There’s this secondhand shop I frequent and it’s book section is always a mess. I spent two hours cleaning and organising it. The owner didn’t even know I was there. My mom used to work in a small shop, and when i was in high school i always spent an hour at that shop. I used to organise everything, help them with so many small things and it was always so satisfying. As a retail worker, I adore you so so so much. Cleaning up the shelves after a busy day can be such a daunting task and the thought of finding even 4ft of shelf neatly organized would make my day. It warms my heart when I see customers touch up after themselves but this is a whole other level. Plus, knowing those shelves are so tidy makes me even more relaxed! Thank you for the lovely relaxation and for being such a thoughtful person

Dollar Tree is a super quiet store. Feels like a library whenever I walk in at my local Dollar Tree lmao
I wish the ones around here were like that. A 30-minute shelf organization video can sometimes take up to an hour because I have to either edit out screaming children or wait for customers to stop shouting at one another. :(

Yay! I’m not the only one that does this! I always feel a little embarrassed if someone catches me but I like doing it, it’s super calming. There’s this secondhand shop I frequent and it’s book section is always a mess. I spent two hours cleaning and organising it. The owner didn’t even know I was there. He’s lovely and wouldn’t have minded anyway.
I just found this video in 2022. You seriously just made me realize how fully stocked this store is and I will need to shop there more often.

My mom used to work in a small shop, and when i was in high school i always spent an hour at that shop. I used to organise everything, help them with so many small things and it was always so satisfying. It reminds me to those days ❤ She changed profession and i moved from our small town but sometimes i still organise the shelves in shops as i go by 😊
