Ps I own a cls 320d. 600nm torque (remapped) I know what you mean when you talk about the torque!
Terrible car. Turbo actuators fail and inlet port shut off valves. Fins inside exhaust disintegrate with age too. I wouldn't buy again.
There are some mods for the gearbox. You can shift gears almost as fast as a C63 AMG my2010, check them out. Ps: the car will downshift harder and you might jerk your head back and forward
5:50 You always use power because it's just torque multiplied by revs, and since you never use the engine at zero rpm you have power, not the max amount but in a supercharged engine you have a lot more power at low rpm, that's why it accelerates better than NA engines from a dig

they are very stylish still today,in the uk they are around for 10,000 pounds !

Scott Petermann ball joint has gone bad acouple of times. Other than that it’s been great.
I wouldn't say this "should" be the forgotten AMG car. My bet would be on the C32, 36 and C43s. Just my humble opinion.

@ElliasFrederic it was a complete disaster of a car. But i bought a car that had been raced to hell. I sold it after 8 months of ownership. It was beautiful car but i dumped $12k into it and sold it. POS. Now these are good cars if they werent abused. I now own a cls550 4 matic 2014 and while its fast and all i liked the SC engines better. Honestly man. Bmw had better quality. Between that time and this 14 i now have, i owned a 2016 bmw 535D that was a total animal when stage 2 and bullet proof.

@haas4262 fixed pulley, long tubes, 550cc injectors, TB , catless, larger cooling mods and it had 105k when sold. It was junk. I got a cls550 4 matic now. 2014. Its kind of junk too. I like bmw diesels bro. Im so tired of mercedes. They are awesome when they run right but they are complete Princesses

Definitely too much power for a first car, I'd recommend getting something a bit more modest first then moving on to this in a couple years.
@@twistan4976 Is this actually true? I live in GER and ive been driving for a couple months now, when i get 18 I´m also thinking about getting this as my first car. But I am used to have a lot of power bcs i have only been driving with my parents´ amg so far.
@@speckmaennchen7571 ive driven fast cars ever since i was about 16 (in pretty illegal circumstances) and i have to say that this car is definetly too fast for a first car. Get a naturally aspirated m113, like the slk55 or the w210 e55, and then step up to this one, it will save you from an accident, because this car has too much torque for its own brakes and steering feeling, and esp technology wasnt as advanced as it is nowadays.

I talked with Mercedes and actually they said that the m113k motor puts out 493hp515 torque...they didn’t want the w211and w219 chassis to outshine the SL amg series.
Yes true the s and sl have a 80mm tb and a diferent oil tank. The w211/w219 have 77mm Tb but it is the exact same engine.

Tjenare, en fråga, är det något man ska tänka på vid köp av en Cls amg? Ska köpa en 55 eller 63 inom snar framtid. Vill mer veta om där finns några för o nackdelar mellan dem 2? Ska bara köra original.
Finns mycket du kan kolla min review på bilen så får du lite mer info.
55 är billigare att äga och billigare i inköp. Vett att du vill köra standard men en mappning och lite så grejer gör väldigt mycket på dessa bilar. då kör de ifrån 63an för lätt och många andra bilar typ f430
63an har bättre växellåda 7 växlar men är dyrare att öga motorn har en begränsad tid sen måste kamaxlarna byttas. 63an har mer kraft högre upp och 55 har mer vrid.
63an kan man köpa performance paket då får man lsd och men då är det en helt annan pris klass jämfört med 55an

I wouldn't say that tbh, the 63 engine is very bulletproof too.
The m113 in the c55 and ML is just as bulletproof the 63 in a certain range had an issue with head studs.

Yer don't buy one that's been tuned or hasn't been serviced on time. They do break, burn valves, misfire and die. If treated well these are my favourite car.
Five minutes in& I haven't learned anything yet. Also, in the beginning learn not to turn your head away from the camera & microphone.
Cls 63 c219 is faster from start and from rolling , its not a buggati you driving 😂
