I say it after almost every goalie interference review, nearly every game for one reason or another; the NHL rulebook is an arbitrary mess and the officiating/management is full of gross incompetence.
Honestly the league needs a hard reset. Fire everyone and start fresh

Dang Doge I’m saying that as written it’s stupid especially because most of the time it’s called off a normal clear that happens to creep over the penalty box or something similar. Maybe if it’s deemed there is sufficient intent such as flipping it super high over the glass it can be a minor. My idea is that it should be like the current icing rules where the offending team can’t change personnel and the otger team gets an offensive zone faceoff where they choose the dot. It’s just frustrating when you see the puck just barely clear the glass and then there’s a two minute penalty when it was glaringly obvious to everyone that that was inadvertent.
Problem more so seems to be that the rules have such as vast amount of subjectivity

Roaring 2020s that didn’t turn out well
As a Blue Jackets fan, I was at this game, wondering why the clock wasn’t being changed, the crowd was upset because they knew that the clock was too short, and then the following series of events occurs and everyone is angry and upset, and then Korpisalo gets voted to the all star game and now may not be able to play in it depending on his status.
Only issue I see with that Bluejackets Hawks thing, the televised clock is usually off, not in sync with the game clock in the building. I've watched some games where the period ends, but the broadcast clock still shows 4 seconds left.
Steve there were so many dang-its in the last couple of days you could have made a week-long video.

The most recent dang-it is the Russia vs Canada game. 3-1 Russia, the Canada scores 3 goals in a row. Not only that but... The Russians pulled there goalie during a penalty on Canada. 6 on 4. Then, the hockey gods blessed Canada and the Russians got called for 2 penalty's. As I watched it happened I looked over to my Dad and said "That's a dang-it".

1.4 seconds were robbed from Columbus. The ref whistles at exactly 19.5 if you watch on 0.25x. The goal might have been good, BUT, isn't there a rule against what the other guy did before the goal? Braking in a way that you send snow in the goaler's face? Because he did... And even rand into the goaler, and put a skate into his zone.
