I think I remember Dan Cloutier doing that with the Rangers. He wanted to take on the entire opposing bench.
One of my favorite hockey things is that you get these amazing feats of athleticism and incredible goals and then you also get a player slipping on ice, another player tripping over that player, and suddenly there's just 3 giant men scrambling to get up to get back into the game.

My favorite comment I heard on Binnington getting pulled was from "The Hockey Guy" Who said Karlson should have got "2 for Flinching!"

@@21sled Eh Konecny hadn't been on the ice for two weeks because of his bout with Covid, and had one shortened practice with the team before they played. The goal is 100% on him more than Hart, but I wouldn't say he didn't *try*

11:04 that actually happened earlier in that game, too. The video clip shown was the third equipment related stoppage of the game. Vincent Trocheck lost a skate blade in the first period, one of the goalie's helmets came off in the second, and then... whatever you wanna call this happened in the third
The announcer in the second dang-it has such a thick Chicago accent that he sounds like one of the Swerski Superfans from SNL.

Obviously grasshopper Steve is to young to have ever heard of certain gentlemen named Ron Hextall and Patrik Roy. Also worth mentioning Dan Cloutier and the late Ray Emery.

Ya know... As a big Blues fan we've had plenty of bad plays that were worthy of Dang its, but idk about the Binny thing. Dubnyk came out of the crease, don't act like he "went after him". He was pissed, let a goalie be pissy like all the other players

I agree so hard with what you're saying around the 9:55 mark. Tried to learn how to skate in February and went from upright, coasting at maybe 1mph to flat on the ice in half a second. Broke my elbow.

Watching that caps game, I was wondering how the heck Letang’s stick broke from a pass assuming it’s a new stick after one broke earlier in the game

OK, to be fair on Marchment, True has had some issues lately with their rivets and screws holding up. I work in a hockey shop, and I personally have seen two tendonguard screws sheared completely off in the last two weeks. There's a clear quality control issue in Winnipeg.

As a Canucks fan, the only thing that would've cracked me up even more about Rittich's 'Dang It' is if it was Markstrom's. Partly because this season's record for Vancouver so far makes me sad.

Speaking from personal experience as a hockey goalie, sometimes a goalies just ERUPT when having a bad day. Logic has no room within all that rage. Like a volcano going off.

I remember one game, there was a dump in from the other end of the ice. It took a bounce and came straight towards me. I went down to stop the puck and slipped on my loose toe lace (hate those things). However I landed on the puck as it hit my crease. Best save I ever made. My dad named it after me.

I think it's rather poetic that the hurricanes, the only team in nhl history to allow three short-handed goals on the same penalty kill, get three short-handed opportunities on the same penalty kill, and miss them all. that's a dang-it.
