4th suspension in 105 games. 3 out of 4 for high hits to the head. 20 games wasn't enough imo.
Agreed... needs like half a season
Defintley agree!! I'm a Penguins fan annnnd this guy targets the head like a sniper.... I mean honestly big hits are okay hut these dirty players especially Wilson need tossed... This isn't what hockey is about!!

Seriously, there are two types of hits that should get you banned from hockey entirely:
- Head shots of ANY type.
- Blind-side shots.
Wilson just did BOTH against Oskar. Dirty shit, NOT okay.
I don't follow hockey and I'm over here wondering what's even illegal about this hit lol.
@@RYTF5 High hard blindsided elbow to the head?

@@brycevogt9669 eh idk . Hockey is known as a violent game. I just figured hits like this were legal. Again, I've watched like a full game one time and it was semi-pro where they fought every five seconds.
Blindside hits are legal
Well that was officially clickbait…
Yeah i wanted to see someone die tf
Never watched hockey in my life and I thought somebody really died assuming because of the blades of their shoes
I love how in hockey nobody cares if someone gets badly hurt. Everyone just be like "Fight me. Even if you didn't do it"
It’s more, “You hurt my guy, I’m gonna hurt you.” Its part of the game, and that’s why they leave the hurt player. Plus they want to give him space instead of crowding around him. If they do crowd around him, the trainer and medical staff have to go through people to get to the injured player. Also if there’s a crowd and somebody falls on the injured player or steps on him, there’s even more problems
Blood for blood
Well you obviously don't play hockey because usually the reason we do that is to (defend the honor of the guy on the ground) is called retaliation they put one of ours on the ground so we do it to them

The same hit that killed Marc Savard’s career

Imagine being the coach and having to ask the ref for an "explanation" out of formality so you don't look weak. I know you gotta support your guys no matter what. But come on. Sometimes just tell your player to get the hell to the showers and you'll talk to him after the game about his bullsh*t.
There was nothing wrong with this hit. All shoulder, didnt raise his elbow, didnt leave his feet. Just got caught with his head down.

Quag mire Can you define the difference between this hit and a legal one, though? At center ice? How would one knock someone off the puck in the mid zone legally?
If Wilson played for the Bruins, I would hear Jack Edwards saying something like "Oh Get Up! Cleanest hit Ive ever seen you baby"
Jesus christ what is this video title. You can't say 'kill' just like that. It has a literal meaning, especially when it comes to sports. I was so scared for the guy.
His own teammates are like dude wtf? It’s preseason 😂
The entire Caps bench at the end was the comical relief to this video
I’m new to hockey rules, why is that such a large suspension?

What a great representation of the Wilson name
