    Do you need a teflon sheet when pressing hats?

    Can you use this for leather patches with adhesive backing? Also with laser etching on patch as well? Should you use thermal tape to protect the patch? Thanks for any info!!

      That’s a great question. I don’t believe you can use with a leather patch. However, I suggest contacting Vevor to find out for sure.

      Yes, it can be used for leather patches with adhesive. I use it for Lonestar Adhesive leatherette. I set mine to 300 for 50 seconds

    What about trying to get vinyl to stick! ? I’m having trouble

    • @HowToVideoChannel
      @HowToVideoChannel  Před 6 měsíci

      I’m not sure. There are a lot of factors. Trial and error may be your best friend.

    • @DbiPro
      @DbiPro Před 6 měsíci

      True but I spent 500 already on trial and error

    Press leaves a crease on top of the trucker hat, how can I prevent that from happening.?

    • @HowToVideoChannel
      @HowToVideoChannel  Před 4 měsíci +1

      Maybe add some additional fabric between the press and the hat. Of course, make sure there aren’t any folds that would cause creasing.

    How about for vinyl projects with cricut maker ? Good idea ?

    • @HowToVideoChannel
      @HowToVideoChannel  Před rokem +1

      I suppose you could try it, but you’d probably be better off getting a machine made for that.

      i know what youre asking, get heat transfer tape and this will work fine with htv designs, my only concern with this press is high pressure even with the knob loosened all the way

    • @dynamike6646
      @dynamike6646 Před 8 měsíci

      @@DFBMERCH my Idea was getting leather patches , making a vinyl design using circuit and transfer design onto patch and then heat transfer patch to caps.
