    The intended use for that supplied screwdriver is for the screws to change out the heating attachment plates. If they supplied a larger Size 3 it would be too big for those small screws. The large spring bolts aren't made to be removed constantly so no need for them to supply a tool for it.

    • @rogersshop

      True, but the supplied screwdriver is junk. A Size 3 was necessary to tighten the bolts that were loose upon unpacking. Factory mess up.

    Question: After I set the temp, and set the timer, am
    I supposed to wait until the temp gets to the set temp to put the garment in, then press start, close the lid and then wait until it counts down? Or can I put the garment in and the press start making the garment be under the heat while it’s warming up and then the additional
    Time at the right temp? Making the garment be under heat for longer that the set time while it’s heating up plus the time
    At the set temp?

    I just recently bought the 8 in 1 and pretty sure I'm going to have to warranty it. I didn't set it up until after the return date so that's on me but when I go to press, the support arm in the back seems to raise and only the back part of the plate will compress so really only one spring out of the 6 is being compressed. VEVOR isn't off to a great start with that straight out of the box.

      @@rogersshop I figured out what was going on. First I used some WD40 which loosed up the arm so I could raise it up an down but then the top platen was really wobbly and I found a screw between the cylinder that raises the platen and the platen. I tightened that up and all is well. I appreciate your help. Now I have one more question. In my startup days I was turning the platen the wrong way and it hit the power cord melting the covering. it's fine and it still works, I've covered it with electrical tape but would really like to change it out. Can't find any information on the cord and again Vevor support is terrible and nothing on the web, that I have found. Do you know any information on the cord or where I can buy it?

      @rogersshop  Před rokem +1

      I tried that and it does not work, or at least, isn't allowed. This was a trip for me since I'm old school and used to a set temp that holds and not a stand-by thing. Works just fine, but needs some mental adjustments in time and temp.

      @@eferdinands Yes, this is a little confusing if you are used to a set temp that the press keeps and set times (as I am). But, I found that using their suggested stand-by and press temps, along with suggested timing does work out just fine.
