First, I would like to thank Jen for making a review regarding the Vevor 8n1 press. I received mine as a GIFT. I did not receive my mug press in my box. I've contacted Vevor and we have shared numerous emails back and forth. I have also sent them pics of EVERYTHING that came in my box. Still to no avail! Vevor REFUSES to send me my missing mug tumbler press. It's a shame to have such a unit like this and cannot utilize the additional heating elements. Then, to call the Vevor company (on 4 different occasions, totaling over 7 hours), for assistance with their product, in absence of the press, has been a TOTAL nightmare!!! Customer service then puts you back into the preverbal loop of waiting for a longer period or advises you to send another email. I AM VERY DISSAPOINTED WITH VEVOR and they have left a VERY SOUR taste in my mouth. My unit is still in the original box, and I've had to purchase a separate mug tumbler heat press from another company! Because of Vevor's treatment to me, being a principal of a school, THEY HAVE LOST OUT ON CUSTOMERS and 24 schools in our District and the purchase of 149 more 8n1 machines, (to be used in a pilot program), ... all because their customer service skills are abominable and heinous!!! Perhaps, they will get it together in the future!
However, thanks again for your thoroughness and showing me and some of my team how this unit could actually work!!!

hi, can you explain what the foam is for the heat press? is it needed instead of putting the shirt though the machine? (if that makes sense)
I am not sure exactly what that is for. I think for the metal on the bottom not to get super hot and possibly melt something that you might be sublimating. It does help me when I put the shirt on to make sure its flat.
How to determine the amount of pressure required? Same heat press...having a hard time getting it right... I've tried a bunch of temperature ranges. 300 to 345...about 20 to 30 seconds...I'll try 400 for 1 minute
I just make sure it's firm, and not too tight. I also try to stick to the same brand shirts once I get everything figured out
Mine isn’t letting me reset or change the temp I have I have to like push the button & let it warm up to 408 & then hurry & press before it goes back down to 330
Contact them and ask them what to do. I am not sure how to reset it

I’ve fixed it! Can I sublimate on printable HTV like the ones you use for dark shirts it’s PPD for dark fabrics
Isn’t it best to put parchment paper or Teflon on top of your design before pressing? I have seen videos where they do this.
In the video I made a note that I made a mistake and forgot to use it

We are using the same sublimation paper that you are using. However the design is not printing onto the shirt. We also have the Vevor 5 in 1 press. Do you have any idea what we are doing wrong?
Are you using sublimation ink and a polyester shirt?
@@DesignerJen we are using sublimation ink and a cotton shirt.
@@dlsimes yeah cotton doesn't do well with sublimation, it has to be 50/50. The more polyester in a shirt the better and brighter it will be

@dlsimes no it has to be items made for sublimation or polyester for clothing

Still works good. I haven't been using it lately but I still love it
Can you put a drawing in there or does it have to be printed
you can do a drawing but it has to be the sublimation ink. You can convert drawings onto a program like Canva then print it out. I haven't done it yet but I know there might a video out there to do it
