Jaggi Vasudev (born 3 September 1957)known publicly as Sadhguru is an Indian yogi and author.
In 1992, Vasudev established Isha Foundation, which has been involved in various activities in the field of spirituality, education, and environment.
In 2017, he was awarded the Padma Vibhushan by the Government of India for his services in the field of social services.
At the age of 25, on 23 September 1982, Vasudev rode up to the Chamundi Hill and sat on a rock, where he had a 'spiritual experience'. Six weeks afterwards, he left his business to his friend and travelled extensively in an effort to gain insight into his mystical experience. After about a year of meditation and travel, he decided to teach yoga to share his inner experience.
In 1983, he conducted his first yoga class with seven participants in Mysore. Over time, he began conducting yoga classes across Karnataka and Hyderabad traveling on his motorcycle, subsisting on the produce of his poultry farm rental and donating the collections received from yoga class participants to a local charity on the last day of the class.

He appears to imply Moksha is not just liberation or freedom, but seeing reality as it is and connecting things together effortlessly, rather than egotistically attributing your combinations as something entirely new, when it's merely a recombining of existing information.

For the folks saying Sadguru hasn't answer the question, pay attention to what he's saying. He absolutely is describing mosksha, however, he's not attempt to define the matter, as if we were somehow so intellectually profound that we could define "something" like that in the first place.
Fair warning: any philosopher or guru who gives you a straight answer to any question is a snake-oil salesman. The best thing they can do, to borrow from Heidegger, is to start you on the way to thinking about these matters.

It makes sense if you read the Ribhu Gita. Achieving Jivanmukti is hard though. As it takes extreme detachment. It can take a whole book to open your mind (or no book at all) but even then you'd have to REALIZE it. Not even I can claim such a thing.

I guess one example of the thing he speaks at the end is the augmented reality goggles idea... it is not that I cannot imagine myself that I have an overlay of images, text and information having projected onto the "screen" before my eyes, without any goggles. Imagination allows for that. Actually this is a thing we constantly do, not being aware of it. Once you become aware that you have a subconscious "overlay", or "ui", or "interface" or "interpretation" over what you see, hear, taste, smell and feel, you become more able to control it.

Once you hear just few words coming from a different paradigm, your whole world can shift.
This is what happened to me once I heard:
"only because you are attached to your body you are attached to somebody"
poof, moksha... the charm was dispelled...

@@Prosper00065 In a literal way. A spell is a concept that gets a hold of you. If different spelling is introduced (different thinking), not burdened with a fallacious paradigms, poof, you are not held anymore by a fallacious ideology, therefore it is dispelled. Metaphorically and literally.

This is why critical thinking can be helpful with emotional issues. Stoics do that. When you realize worrying cannot help because worrying does not help with the things you can control, and worrying does not help with things you cannot control, the stoicism offers a new structure for your thoughts, you have to put events of reality in two baskets. 1: things you can control (therefore you need not to worry) 2: things you have no way of controlling (therefore you need not to worry about them either). This thought structure replaces the earlier structure (which you even did not know you had), which was the thought structure that assumes worrying is kind of helpful. Most of thought structures we have we got from our culture, society, etc, we sucked it in and taken as obvious truth, which is at least debatable, and debating those is the only way to get yourself free from all forms of mental-prisons.
