Daily dose of Danya before blundering my queen on move 8
OMEGALUL
Gumbatz
I feel attacked
Lol me too. I listen to this guy and how well he explains the theory, the tactics, etc etc. And I think to myself, "I can DO this, let's GO" and 60-70% of the time, I crap the bed...
But to be fair, I have gotten better in the last year, so there is that.
Will keep tuning in.
Good luck.
Not move 6?
The vienna is how I get games with 99% accuracy. It is all you need in life. I have no credit and no money in my bank account. My wife left me and took the kids but it doesn't matter. I have my vienna and no one can take that away. Bless you danya ur vids are amazing.
I can relate, kind of lmfao
3. … d4 takes it away :(
@@SpliefDaGrief thankfully, that move is illegal, as pawns can’t move 3 squares in one move

Daniel: let's go e4
Opponent goes e5
Daniel: ok so the game is essentially over
Haha
Me when I face the Sicilian for the 2403th time:
This was funny 2 years ago, and it's funny now :D
Daniel: this is pretty much resignable for black
"Now we have a really cool idea" is Danya's verison of "So there's a funny line"

Me: D3
Danya: It's not D3
Me: 🤡
😂
“This move will get you many dates” 😂😂😂😂
Opponent has 8 minutes+ left on the clock, a huge time advantage, and spends 4 seconds on a move that blunders his queen and immediately resigns 😂
Lmfao
I mean you can anticipate fork but you don't kniw when you walk into fork.
oh man those Vienna lines starting around 11:30 are really nice
you mean "Vayyenna"
i think you mean those Vienna lines starting around 0:00 to 23:55 are very nice
I absolutely love the Vienna! Completely destroyed someone the other day when he accepted the gambit
How did a 1600 NOT see that fork loosing his queen?????
First time I experienced a deep learning of chess. You're a great teacher/explainer. A perfect mix of your love for the game and a reserved distance, and it is obvious you have a very good feel for the audience your are talking to, something almost all chess players of your very high caliber lack.
I just want to see that all of these chess speedrun videos are so relaxing and fun to watch, Daniel just knows his stuff so well and is so calm and patient through the whole thing and I have learnt a lot. Keep it up!
This is phenomenal!!! Thank you so so much!
Thanks Danya, I watch every video of yours and being able to have a GM such as yourself help us explore the game is unbelievable. I've been playing the Pirc and Danish Gambit around 1500 but you've inspired me to move on to the Accel Dragon and Vienna Gambit. I would love it if you could explore the Vienna in an openings video to help me out...! Again thanks so much
I just love these in deprh analysis and also giving us some time to think about the next move. Nost underrsted chess content here
My favorite opening/gambit!! Super pumped for this video.
I’ve been trying to learn chess and came across your channel. You are by dar the best chess teacher I’ve come across this far in my search. Watching your videos has helped me improve immensely
In addition to the positional play ,i love the fact that you included the tactical lines.Thank you !
Amazing stuff. Such speed of thought, awesome!
2:55 "Never play to win a pawn while your development is yet unfinished" -Aron Nimzowitsch
Beautiful content, thank you!
Loving all the Vienna content recently. I've been looking for more content to supplement Levy's course. Would also love to see some games with 2.b3 lines against the French and Sicilian.
yesssss I love it when danya uploads its my favorite thing on youtube. thanks!!
Thank you danya for yet another priceless chess learning tool!
I play Vienna and the gambit a lot so this was very instructional. Thank you Daniel.
Great vid. Thx!
This was fantastic!

I think others have their strengths but I like how mature and collected Danya is. He’s represents chess & grandmasters with class.
daniel thank you for your input
Great just great Danya!!!
Please more Vienna games...👍👍👍
Даня, спасибо. очень познавательно. не ожидал, что ты ещё так здорово обучаешь.
и очень, конечно, смешно, когда ты изображаешь "рашин аксент"
I love your videos daniel!
just wanted to let you know that i really appreciate these videos always end up crushing my opponents after I watch them!!!!!!
I am so pumped that Danya did a vienna gambit masterclass. So sick

Best online chess teacher on the planet at the moment. Thank you sir.
I just finished Levy's course and this was such a nice supplement. Vienna is love, Vienna is life
i love him when he seems/is wasted just chillin
You’re the man Danya
"Its like a ruy lopez on steroids" that was the best description of vienna xD

Finally a Vienna video!
I actually managed to get that crazy line in a blitz game, after seeing this video! Best feeling ever!
THE GOAT

UuughguugUghUUghgUghgh...yeah this is mate
Man glitched lmao
Lmao same 🤣
Ruy Lopez on Steroid is now my favorite opening
I want Daniel to sign my chess board or just his signature
I seriously adore him, he's my favorite chess player.
"believe it or not it's very complex..." - I believe you Danya
I love Gotham but you simply are much more articulate. Your style of teaching is unmatched. I’ve learn some things from Gotham but it’s mostly for entertainment. When I wanna learn, it’s danya
The difference between a GM and IM is small but large
@@jamesgreenwood1703 it’s not that at all. Plenty of IMs go into depth and properly explain what the ideas are; Gotham doesn’t do that by a long shot
@@jamesgreenwood1703 gms are not necessarily better teachers.
@@BodhiGeraci I agree, Gotham is more of an entertainer than educator. He does sell courses though and you'd have to see those to actually compare the difference between IM and GM level analysis.
I love the Vienna...such a fun opening to play
Thanks for this amazing Vienna gambit line! The computer however, gives the defense: After white takes the f pawn with the bishop, black does'nt take the kight but checks with the queen! 9. Bxf4,Qe7+ ! Afterward we get a totally different line...
Shoutout to Daniel for making me regret fucking up my sleep schedule slightly less
Crazy skills, gotta learn the vienna
I'm a simple man, I see danya I click
hey Danya hey everybody, I've analyzed the position after 13.Kd6 and it's completely equal because after Qxf6 black has Be7 linking the rooks. Ne7+ Kc5 Qf2+ Qd4 Nxh8 Qxf2+ Kxf2+ and the knight on h8 is trapped. Lots of crazy lines after that. Really helpful video nonetheless thanks Danya
i actually got to pull of this exact checkmating variation shown at 10:43 in one of my own games a couple of weeks ago!
calling it a ruy lopez on steroids is incredibly accurate. knowing every variant is hard but very fun and very very rewarding. my favorite line is vienna gambit offer, they d5 decline, bishop pin Nc3, e5 take, Qe2, bishop out for a very clean longcastle setup with open rook. Qg4 is an instant win if they dont see and gambit accepted is +2 with hanging black pawn and no opposing pieces out. can also transform into a 3 knights at turn 3 for extra confusion
The line you showed at 10:45 in the vienna gambit.. I play this all the time. Only difference is after they play exd4, rather than take the pawn on f4 with my bishop, I just short castle. When I do this, my opponent thinks I hung my knight EVERY time. Then I sac the LSB and win their queen. And if they don't immediately take the bishop, I have rook e1. 👍
Been playing for 4 months, winning a lot against the 1400-1500 on lichess, thanks sensey danya 🙏
Nice lines in the Vienna
watched this, and immediately played the best game of my life with a similar passive defense as that first player
Let's go!
5:42 This man literally calculated whole game to the end in this short moment, right?
He calculated a line the oppo didn't even play but ofc he had to so he could be sure his move was good anyway
My boiiiiii
Black: I'm up 5 pieces!
Also black: I resign
great gmae sx2
Gut
oh wow that was a very sexy line indeed
Let’s be honest Daniel looks sharp in black
Do you know? Danya is making many mouse slip in this back. It made me suspicious, but it made my day.

nice
Leaving a comment on this 2 year old Vienna video to say that this is why i play 6. d3 in this line (which is super common at my level) instead of 6. O-O, because Black's two most common follow-ups are 6... a6 as seen in this game, or 6... Be7, and in both cases, 7. Bxc6 Bxc6 8. fxe5 dxe5 9. Nxe5 does indeed win a pawn. (Note that because White hasn't castled yet, there is no Qd4+ to pick up the knight.) Granted, Black better play 8... Ng4! in the Be7 line to not be lost, but very few people know that, and the evaluation is at least +2 after winning the pawn, threatening to take the c6 bishop and further cripple Black's pawn structure, making all endgames better for White.
Additionally, the lines at 9:56 are some of my favorite in the Vienna, I've gotten multiple versions of that knight + bishop sac line and won lots of quick games, it's so deadly - BUT, it should be noted that another great option for White is 7. Qe2!?, pinning the pawn, with Bxf4, Bb5, and sometimes Nxe5 on the way. It's the line Levy has recommended, and if Black doesnt know what they're doing (which, if they played 3...exf4, they probably don't), White can decimate in this line too. Worth checking out.
New opening in my
repertoire
I’m going to get so many dates with that move!
Lets goooo
His teaching skills 💯
8:13 I FOUND THE MOVE!!!!
Great vid, but can you do some more on the vienna?
Daniel makes me feel like I can play like Daniel. Wrong feeling, but I like it.
I like the EKG chess piece t-shirt
Vienna game and especially gambit lines are probably my all time favourites! I just love the follow ups if they for some reason accept the gambit.Though the problem is (as Danya said) that after certain level ppl know the best lines for black and games become somewhat boring.
❤️
Lol "this move will get you SO many dates"
