I AGREE, YOU ARE 100% IN CHARGE OF BEING HAPPY. SO WHY NOT BE HAPPY. AN OLD SARGENT IN VIETNAM TOLD ME ROCKETS AND MOTOR ROUNDS, ETC. WAS A GOOD THING. THEY ALL MISSED. SO JUST TAKECARE OF BUSINESS.
Appreciate that David
Good video and I like how you showed and explained everything but unfortunately it does me no good. I still need info about how to diagnose and change out the radiator fan control relay circuit!
The fan relay sensor is on the driver's side firewall.
I want this guy to be my mechanic!
You nailed it in my case bro good look
THANKS!
Do you have a picture of the relay switch???
Thanks man, im not getting the voltage code but ill check it with a voltmeter anyway!
No problem at all. Let us know how it goes!
I have a 2003 jeep liberty sport. Cooling fan quit working so i replaced it with a new one. Problem solved but 3 weeks later new fan quit. No codes no check engine light and 40 amp cooling fan fuse is good. Any thoughts. Im putting another new cooling fan in it tomorrow. First replaced fan was a keystone collision fan. Going with a dorman fan this time. Any thoughts🤔
Never heard of keystone before, but lets see what happens with the Dorman. Also, you might want to replace that fan relay as well.
My 2003 Jeep liberty, the fan stay on even while the car is off, any thoughts on that.
Do they ever go out? If not, you will need to have a wiring diagram to figure out what wire(s) are powering the fan, then figure out which one is staying hot while the car is off. Hope this helps.
Love your info bro. But you never got to the title and gave information directly related to the Fan relay. I don't have any codes and my fan is not working and I suspect the relay. Fuse is good and fan connector appears to be well connected. I will follow the connector after I diagnose the relay. Thanks for your help.
Hey Anthony, before you do anything, jump out the fan to make sure it is working because the fans do seem to go bad in these vehicles, if the fan is working correctly, then go to the relay. They are a common problem, hope this helps.
It could be your fan motor. Fan motor does not throw you MIL Light
The is also a green fuse is a 40 ... fuse is on left front of engine compartment and the really below all the fuses
Was the fan moving during diagnosis?
When we jump them out, they do work.
I had this very problem, what I did to fix it is pull off the negative terminal on the battery while the jeep is idling for good 10 minutes, then hook it back up. Problem solved
did changing the alternator work? i have the same two codes and the dealership is telling me its the regulator and i need to change the pcm ($1000), but i'm not convinced. if the alternator solved the problem, let me know!
Hi, that code did not come back after the alternator was replaced, BUT, it may not be the same remedy for your vehicle. I think the dealer is trying to rip you off, you can get the fan relay for around $50, and you DO NOT need to replace the pcm afterwards.
⭐ Astral Auto Repairs thanks for letting me know, i'll try the alternator myself first and hopefully that's all it is. great video, thanks!
Let us know if it works, and if it doesn't, maybe we can figure it out.
⭐ Astral Auto Repairs this repair fixed my problem! thanks for saving me $1000! i can dig it. (i only had the issue when it was below -30 out, so i wasn't sure this would work, but it did!)
Now THAT'S cold!!! I'm glad it worked out GREAT!!! Chalk another one up for the DIY'er!!!
You didn't even fix it so we can see
Its not the 2.4 its the 3.7 bud
??
Yea i peeped that too its a v6
He said mechanics are bums...lmao
