First Maintenance after Install~Starter Locs

First days of having crochet locs is …. …. Different. Those first weeks waiting to shampoo. To be able to get your hair wet again, and get to play with your new locs. It’s great! There’s so many things your locs will do! Mostly, they get fuzzy. Fluffy with a solid foundation. Every time they’re getting wet, they will swell and contract and loc up more and move. That’s why we palm roll. To help shape them in the beginning. It brings so the hairs to their spot, and if it’s not guided, there’s a Good chance of getting bubbles and bobbles in the length of the loc. and the hair still has to go through the some maturing process, it’s just put together more.
It’s no where near instant.

As well as a few key points of the care that goes into loc smithing that first session. And how that placement can help, especially when doing natural locs(not by a loctician)

Going in for my first maintenance this Friday. Have had some fallout as I have really fine hair and straight. But overall I'm really happy with how they've done this first month. I only have 30 so mine don't look as good as hers does.
