Incredibly beautiful💕
Thank you very much, I so happy you like them :)
That’s it I’m keeping my tea light hardware from now on so I can make these lol wonderful idea❤❤❤😊
Just adorable lovely way to use all your small scraps like the idea of putting a friendship doll inside. Thank you for sharing. 😍😍
Thank you Jan, I'm so happy you like the idea - yes little scraps of ribbon and lace and vintage buttons would be cute too, or really glam ones with scraps of fur and sequins and suchlike. I might try just gluing some to see how that works as well :)
So cute.
Thank you Deb :)
What a unique idea. Thank you for sharing.
You are so welcome Pam, thank you very much for watching, I'm so pleased that you like the idea :)
This is so gorgeous, I love the design ☺☺
Thank you! 😊
That is so cute and adorable! I love such cute small things, they make me smile whenever I watch and use them and they are lovely give aways as well. This box ist so cute and I especially love the Idea of using those tea light metals. Me too, I have them all the time, dread the waste and it is a lovely transformation. Thank you for this beautiful inspiration. Have a lovely new week. 🤗🍀🪡💕
You are so kind Hildegard, thank you, and I have more ideas for upcycling those little metal shells, coming up soon :)
@@artyfartyannie Great! Once, I saw old ladys folding and pressing them, so they turn into the form of a leave. Then they hotglue them together to the form of a lotus flower and use them for shining candle holders. Especially beautiful for Christmas.
😊❤ Such a cute wonderful idea to use your bits on. ❤❤😊😊 Love the Frog, Such a great way to remember an enjoyable memory. 😊😊
Thank you, I'm really enjoying finding ways to use the smaller pieces, might try something a little larger next time though .... :)
Just found your YT channel this morn… Fabulous idea for re-use of the tea light ‘shells’ … I am a beginner at slow stitch & left handed, so more clumsy… still getting comfy holding the needle, but getting there! Also a lifelong fibre & textile nut… still have some ‘yo-yo’ puffs I made in high school (I’m almost 70!) that didn’t get used in a project… will put them to use in a project such as these boxes… they’re def vintage lol. Greetings from the rural countryside of New Hampshire (East Coast - New England area) USA! 🧡🧡
Thank you very much Maureen, I'm so happy you found me! :) Ah one of my sons is left-handed, so I know it can be a struggle - I remember having to buy scissors for him to use at school because they didn't supply them in those days, and it's so much harder to find tutorials for stitching and crochet and suchlike isn't it? I'm hooked on Suffolk puffs at the moment, so there will be more ideas coming up soon, watch this space! :)
ahhh this is so adorable - will have to look for the video of the little people dollies you made. tfs :) would love to make those for wee gifts for some kiddos. they remind me of the worry dolls that had got around a bit ago
Thanks so much 😊 Yes they were inspired by the worry dolls, I've aleays loved those. Trish mentioned in another comment that they'd make sweet angels for the tree, and now I'm thinking elves as well ... and she's going to do a tooth fairy box with pink feathers, always love to see what others do with these ideas, please do share some pics if you make some. I think I put a link to the playlist in the description box, you should find the "Pocket Poppets" video in there :)
How sweet are those? Love them xxx
Thank you Jacquie, they were a lot of fun to make :)
Aww thanks missus. Forgot the frog was so dinky. The frog we saw was shaped like a frog and was made of metal threads and beads. xx
Ah it's one of my treasures Em, and brings back memories of happy days in Oxford. I remember now it was the Ashmolean where we saw it, I found a link to one of their FB posts about it - facebook.com/ashmoleanmuseum/photos/a.171131553441/10158438505408442/?type=3
Annie, I cannot wait to get my supplies and make these adorable little containers. Thank you for sharing!
Glad you like them! I have so many more ideas for these small scrappy projects, I'm really happy you're enjoying them :)
These containers are wonderful Annie❣️🤗❣️ I too save the tea light aluminium, it is great to find a re use for them. I will make a pink feathery one for my friend to give her grand daughter to use as a tooth fairy box🌸🧚🏻💕 Thanks for sharing this gorgeous idea🌻🦋
Thanks so much Trish and please please share some pics of your tooth fairy box, that is a fabulous idea I can picture it now😊
Really sweet project Annie - love how much fun we’re having with yo-yos and scraps 🤗 cheers, Christine
Thanks so much Christine 😊 I think we'll come up with a few more ideas for them between yet eh?! I managed to find a cheaper-than-clover set of 4 sizes, hopefully they'll be just as good. Can't wait to try some different ideas with them. I was reading that they used to sometimes stuff the individual puffs to give more warmth to the quilts, which was interesting. Suffolk is the next county over from us, so less than an hour away, I saw an article about a sewing group there who broke the record for the longest Suffolk puff worm :)
@@artyfartyannie love learning about fabric histories and happy you have more sizes coming your way to play with too. I have some very old vintage yo-yos from a quilt from the United States and looking at them I think they may also be feed sack fabric, they are so worn and the quilt was obviously very well used. Love them! Cheers, Christine
Love love love 🩷
Thank you very much Isobel! :)
WoW!🤩Thx!
Thank you for watching, I'm so glad you like it - lots more ideas in the pipeline :)
These are so cute. I got my scrap packs delivered yesterday so can't wait to give them a try. Funny you mentioned the little puffs made into dolls in the good old days. That is how I keep my hexagons ready to stich together in a long worm on a thread......
Thank you Tracy, I hope you'll share some pics of your scrappy makes, I always love to see other people's spins on these ideas and what they do with the scrap packs. Love the idea of that hexagonal worm :)
Just found your channel and love it. Love these little trinket boxes, will give them a go. I'm also going to check the rest of your vids, as I would like to make some little dolls that you had on the table. I'll see you again.
Hello and welcome, thank you for watching and takign the time to comment, and please do share some pics if you make some of these, I'd love to see them. I have an idea for a new improved way to make the dolls which I'll be trying out soon, and I want to see how teeny I can go, so watch out for that coming soon :)
PS You're very welcome to join our free Discord community and FB group, links are in the description :)
Ohhhh my gosh..... I've always felt guilty for throwing those little candle holders away and racked my brain as to what to make out of them. THANKYOU!!! This is a WONDERFUL idea!!!! You're always full of amazing ideas Annie. So glad you share them. ❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much Melinda - and I have a couple more empty nightlight ideas in the pipeline! :)
@@artyfartyannie brilliant. Can't wait. 💗
