    Wow. Bol Renversé (Magic Bowl) is my favourite dish. Keep on uploading Chinese fusion/Sino-Mauritian dishes.

    Just tried your recipe today with some of my own variations. I used soaked shitake mushrooms instead of canned mushroom and Mauvino (Oxenham) instead of white wine. It's sweeter and less acidic. Thank you for so kindly sharing the recipe. Which rice did you use? Should the rice be sticking together or "en grain"?
    If you have a recipe for poisson au gingembre I would love it. Been trying a few of your recipes since I subscribed. Keep up the good job!

      Thats awesome that you added some of your own variation to the recipe. Everybody have their own taste 😉 For 'Bol Renversé' and with most asian dishes, I like to use Jasmine rice as its more sticky and soft. I have a very good recipe for Poisson gingembre and can share it with you, need to look for it. Thank you for watching the videos, trying the recipes and giving your feedbacks. Much appreciated 😉

    Yummy , one of the best recipe for Bol Renversé I have seen…never tried with sausage, will add that next time….I usually put chicken stock as well before I put the Pak Choi…👍🏽

    Can we replace the white wine with something else?

    • @TheFoodiesAvenue
      @TheFoodiesAvenue  Před 3 lety +2

      The white wine is optional. You can just replace it by water so that the sauce is not too thick 😉

    Hello where can i get the corn starch? :/

    • @TheFoodiesAvenue
      @TheFoodiesAvenue  Před 3 lety

      Try the supermarket or Asian grocery store. You can also use Tapioca Starch (Lapoudre Cange) or Potato starch 😉

    • @sunnydookia1778
      @sunnydookia1778 Před 3 lety +1

      @@TheFoodiesAvenue got it but im a bit disappointed tho hahah thought it would change the taste but nah still the same as tapioca

    • @TheFoodiesAvenue
      @TheFoodiesAvenue  Před 3 lety +1

      Corn starch, potato starch and Tapioca flour do not really add any taste to the dish, its mostly to thicken the sauce 😉 However, if you are deep frying something, corn starch will give a crispier finish in my opinion! 😊
