Wales vs England Darts World Cup Final 1977

1977 saw the first ever darts team world cup - with Wales and England meeting in the final in London. A nailbiting encounter saw Welsh legend Leighton Rees face off against Cliff Lazarenko in a match which would decide the world championship. Alongside Leighton Rees in the winning Wales team were Alan Evans, David 'rocky' Jones and Phil Obbard. Leighton would go on to win the inaugural individual world championship the following year
