كم انتم جميلون واخلاقكم رائعة كروعة هذه البلاد الجميلة وأهلها الطيبون ❤
Thank you so very much for your kind comment. We really do appreciate all the kindness that was shown to us in Saudi Arabia. ❤
You will never find this hospitality and generosity in the west. Born and raised in the UK but I also lived in Saudi Arabia. We can learn a lot from them instead of looking down!
You are totally right. We have come across this special hospitality so many times here in the Middle East and we enjoy sharing with the world the real truth of how people are here. 🙏💕
Mandy and Lee. You are doing a wonderful job educating us on the hospitality of the saudi people. It has really surprised me. 👍
We were also very pleasantly surprised on how hospitable the people are here. You literally cannot walk down the street without somebody welcoming you or offering help. it is very humbling. 🙏❤️
Another wonderful video! Saudi hospitality is amazing and, as someone from the US, refreshing to see. I think it helps that you two are friendly and genuine. Take care!
Thank you. The people here are so warm hearted. It is ingrained in the culture to be hospitable. We really can learn a lot from them as it is a wonderful way to live life. So glad you enjoyed it. 🙏👍😊
Welcome to saudi arabia guys.
Alahsa was part of one of the oldest civillizations in the middle east and the region has been known as the most fertile on the arabian penunsula for millennia. It was very rich in groundwater to the point where people could literally dig water out with primitive tools. Hence it's famous for public groundwater pools.
Thank you so much! It seems so fertile and rich in everything. You can see why thec civilisations have flourished here for so long. 🙏
fantastic video, I really enjoyed watching this and I hope your views start going up, keep up the good work.
Thank you so much for your kind words, Abdul. We appreciate your support and positivity.
How are you doing mrs Mandy mr lee . I hope you have great time in Saudi Arabia my homeland . I sent comments to you before . Honestly I visited Ahsa before COVID-19 global pandemic. Just some attractions as museum , shopping center , historical market. I just found out that Al-Ahsa oasis is biggest oasis in the world. UNESCO registered world heritage list . It’s most prominent tourists destinations in Saudi Arabia. Rich archaeological landmarks heritage treasure that trace history of human settlements in region since Neolithic. There more than 2.5 million palm trees in oasis , which fed from huge underground aquifer which allows agriculture all year round in region that is otherwise sand desert. Thank you for sharing your trips with us . Honestly there are many places unknown to us . Bon voyage best wishes for you your dearest ones .
Thank you for your kind comment and useful information. We really enjoyed our time there and the people of Saudi Arabia were so kind and welcoming to us. Thank you 🙏😊
Welcome to Saudi Arabia.. All the cordiality and respect to you.
We wish you the best wishes .. 🌹
Thank you so much 😊🙏
I miss Al hasa where I used to work there way back 2012😢 i love Saudi food, customs ❤❤❤🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭there so many dates palm tree there and Al hasa is also part of Eastern province like Udhailiyah
We loved exploring this region. A truly beautiful oasis in the desert and such wonderful people there. 🙏😊❤️

I'm impressed by those lemons!!
Turns out they are not quite lemons but something more bitter. 😬. Not quite fit for drinking. I wonder what they are good for. 🤔
You both have a beautiful soul 💕
That is so kind, thank you! 😊🙏

It is such a lovely city!
Welcome to my city ❤
Thank you 🙏 it's a beautiful place 😍
@@FrugalTravellers you’re welcome ☺️
@@FrugalTravellersdid you visit the other side of Al ahsa
Thanks for this video . I really learnt a lot about Al ahsa but I have some questions to ask
Must a foreigner wear an Abaya in Al ahsa?
What type of clothing should one pack when coming to Al ahsa.
Thank you
Thank you for your lovely comment🙏 I didn't wear an abaya, but it was cold at night in February so I was glad I had my fleece and a scarf! I'm guessing it will be scorching hot in summer so pack light coloured clothes then 😃😁 ~ Mandy
You've to visit Qarah mountain and go inside the cave 👍🏼
We will try to on our next visit. Thank you. 🙏
The yellow fruit is not lemon, it's something similar
That's so interesting... does it taste like a lemon?
it called ترنج @@FrugalTravellers we eat it with salt
@@Xxadamswagxxx Thank you for sharing this information 🙏
7:24 we put above it sugar before eating it, taste really sweet and sour❤
Thank you. 🙏 I'm sure sugar will help the taste a lot.
Those lemons are large
Aren't they incredible!
That satellite image does show a lot of the oasis was lost to urbanization.
I can imagine it would have been even bigger before.
Hi Mandy / Lee.
Building them irrigation canals was a smart decision from the Saudis.
Back then they seem to focus on they own people instead of tourists.
I'm glad that the locals can grow some food and be less dependent on imports.
Hope you guys are doing OK, wishing you a good week ahead 😎
Hi Sergio. Yes you can tell that water really is the key ingredient to bringing life to the region. The irrigation canals are a real feat of engineering. Just a short hop from here is pure desert. Here there is food in abundance.
Have a great week. 👍L&M
That's Citron,not lemon.
Thanks for that. They are sooo big! 😊
RIP all the toilets.
So sad. 😥
to understand why Arabs revear guests, I encourage you to read about Hatim Al-Tai

2:37 Putting your camera above the property wall and showing the inside of the property is a violation of the privacy of the property owner. You are a guest in their country and you should respect them. This part of the video should be deleted.
Thank you so much for your suggestion.
You are lucky you are White which is why these Arabs are generous and hospitable
as an Arab I can confirm that white tourists are treated differently than others and we have racism like any other country. but they can still be hospitable to other tourists as well mostly it’s not about race they are just excited to see tourists. specially small cities or villages in Saudi Arabia are more hospitable and not dangerous for colored tourists.
@@noura3152 racism in Saudi Arab and UAE goes unnoticed on people who have dark skinned or are oriental. The Arabs were once the most hospitable people on earth. Now they are selective to whom they are hospitable to based on their race. Even the salary is determined by nationality
