TAKING THE TRAIN TO HOFUF: Our experience on Saudi Railway from Dammam to Al Hofuf, Saudi Arabia.

- Today we took our first train in Saudi Arabia from Dammam to Al Hofuf (the journey goes onwards to Riyadh); a short journey of less than two hours train travel. And we can confirm the train ride was smooth as!
Rail transport is not a particularly popular mode of travel in KSA yet (cars are definitely the big way to get around) but from a travel perspective it felt like a fairly economical way to travel across the country (which is huge in land-size and the 13th largest country in the world!).
We look forward to sharing more of our family travel adventures in Saudi Arabia!

You should try The Haramain high speed train the one between Jeddah, KAEC, and Medina its also connected to Mecca but as non-Muslims you can't visit Mecca, and It's really a fancy fast train, I think it's one of the best in the world. The stations also very cool especially from inside at day time, Definitely you should try it also you can see KAEC and Madinah or Medina

I don't know much about trains in general, but wasn't there a project for a new Metro in Dammam that will finish somewhere between 2022 - 2023?
I hope it will be worth it so that they can cover it for us who can't travel around the world, this train in the vid looked really dated with those painting scratches

1:39 wow ! That nuami bakery is actually located in my hometown shaqra 170kmh north of the capital city riyadh ! There is no other branches , thats why i was surprised when i saw that bakery bag , btw you should visit shaqra its very peaceful and beautiful town

I hope abha and alula is in your bucket list!! abha especially in this time of year, alula is very hot now and it has alot of outdoor activities and site's from the rock's formations to the nabatean tombs but its best in winter season as you searched i think 😄.

Oh lily's that's a fine hotel. But should've tried the historical hotels near historical fort area. Hope you all did visit the fort, currently some work in progress.
