The genius of johnny is he plays the thick card so well, but the man behind it all, michael, is amazing. Outrageously good timing that makes jimmy carr look like an amateur. He's an absolute legend on the uk circuit, and by god we'd kill for him 😂
He was a stand up comedian in the Northern clubs... If you fail there, you pay the club... Or they don't let you leave. 😊

The rod license line is priceless. It's such a specific detail that comes from absolutely nowhere it takes Josh a second or two to process it. Genius.

I was so busy loving Alex completely losing it that I didn't even notice how straight-faced Johnny was until I watched this for the third time.
Watched a Bond movie yesterday and every time the bad guy and Bond were on screen at the same time I grinned like a stupid cat and all I could hear was "I expect you to smell of piss Mr. Bond". Life will never be the same again!

So bloody clever. He’s really picked everyone up and set a great tone for the show. You get Jonny on and everyone relaxes and has a laugh. I’ve seen this clip a few times. I highly recommend watching “Jonny Vegas poem”, it’s on cats does countdown and is equally brilliant.

When he can have the other guests, presenter and everyone else in the studio laughing like that it is absolute talent and nothing less.

Johnny Vegas does "stream of consciousness" so well most people who are this good at it are genuinely deranged.

The greatest part of this is that just about every line has been described as the one that broke people. It's non stop gold all the way, and I will never tire of watching it.
I love Johnny's stream of consciousness comedy. It comes out of nowhere and catches you unawares. That's why it's so funny!
What does that mean?
I love this clip because you can see Johnny win the guys over. Alex and Josh looked kind of annoyed at first like "man, we've been here all day lets just do this and go home" but he won them over with the next few bits and it's gold.

He's not hyper successful in Britain though, he's barely moderatly successful despite everyone knowing who he is. He doesn't actually do much. He doesn't do massive comedy tours and tends to play small rolls in sitcoms. The sitcomes he's stared in are actually very good. Like the one where he's a stoner and dealer, can't remember the name now. But yea that show is still pretty underated.
