what a legend i applied to be in the audience for this show come onnnnn channel 4
Channel 4 So much!
dont you mean archie the inventor from balamory
kevin bridges next plz
Archie is a legend.
Miles is not only the guy who openly and excitedly laughs at the others' jokes, he is also one of the few people who can make Sean crack up and drop his stoic act.
Yesss along with Joe Wilkinson. Never fails.
learned a new word today thanks
Andrew Knops he made you better at countdown
It's why he isn't an annoying prick like Corden. He'll laugh at fucking anything, but it always seems like he's only doing it to get that comedian to like him. It's always the same, exact, fucking practiced laugh, whereas with Miles he's at least seems like he's genuinely reacting to the joke, not just laughing for likes.
@@Hexen_Wulf Miles isnt afraid to be the only one laughing at what he finds funny, or afraid to sit there happy. Its not a performance for him, his reaction is the full range from giggling to tears coming down his face.
When Miles pulls out that old portrait “from his grandfather” - I’ve never seen Sean laugh so hard I love it
You should see Joe Wilkinson's poem then.😁
Perbalter ohhh true that was so funny he just turned into a Jimmy laugh
@@tomrowell1558 Love this show. Much better the most shows we've got in Sweden. 😁
I was about to recommend Joe's poem, too. I wish I could watch that for the first time...
What episode was that
"vorderman's gone" .. ""hasn't she just"" - priceless 😆
trekker You can actually see Rachel’s face fall slightly as he says that.
Sorry i didnt get this.
@@bobbyaldol that's ok, no need to apologize...
What does that statement mean tho? Don’t really get the joke/sarcasm
My favourite bit is that Rachel is usually NEVER flirty, but she actually does a little flourish and a pose for him and Miles just 100% no-sells her.
Sad to think we will never get a Miles and Sean team again. Their comedy timing with each other was perfect. RIP Sean Lock, you will leave a huge hole in our hearts and in the comedy world
He certainly will, it was so unexpected. Still stunned watching this video.
One of the best comedy combos in recent years, would love to have seen a sitcom with them as flatmates
@@davidbaillie2400 I imagine it would be a lot like Peep Show. Miles as the sensible one, Sean with the zany schemes.
I don't know what the plans are as far as continuing the show, but if they do, Miles would be a good replacement for Sean.
They would of made an amazing father/son sitcom together
"Aww, fuck it - money? A grand?"
The most upper-class response ever.
Anytime someone tries to do a bet with me, I quote this
Sean's offer not to spit on Miles was so funny Jimmy Carr laughed like a normal person
It was the best bit and we have the exact same profile picture
@@knights8887 correlating names as well.
When Jimmy cries you know the laugh is real
They broke the puppet man
@@knights8887 the best bit was Miles' quick reply "good luck trying it without a spit"
Imagine if Miles had been there for Joe’s poem 😂
Miles would still be laughing at it lol
I always think this when watching this episode
He’d have to be carried out on a stretcher with a defibrillator on stand by 😂😂
I think we would've lost him 😂
And Claudia.
Sean and Miles are actually such a good double act. Would love a show where they just chat shit and make fun of each other for an hour
I know right!
I'd love a version of The Trip with Miles and Sean
Dalamanza they'd make a good podcast team
So sad that we will never get to see that
Sean in ghost form haunting Miles from beyond the grave
I like Miles Jupp a lot anyway but particularly love how much he simply enjoys himself and the other guests on these shows. No ego or attitude - just someone who likes to laugh.
definitely. comedians always seem to try not to laugh if they can help it but he just lets it go
do some Jupp binge. you will find his humour comes when he's been sitting quietly on a panel and then suddenly perks up when he's being inconvenienced to participate in the game show. he comes across so posh, a fellow comedian accused him of having a private aging cheese collection. he passed that joke so convincingly that the other comedian swallowed it HLS.
He's just one of those likeable posh people
I agree, you can hear him in bits on the News Quiz, he maybe the chairman but he enjoys it as much as all of us, funny bloke especially when he has a posh ranty breakdown
@richard cunningham I remember Michael MacIntyre used to talk about his own posh upbringing and then along comes Miles Jupp and Jack Whitehall (etc), who had even posher upbringings and suddenly the idiot stopped saying that. MacIntyre has a good agent. I personally can't stand him. I love to watch Miles Jupp bursting out laughing. He's not ashamed to go on panel shows (unlike MM)
The ending is nightmare fuel.
Toby Naylor better than the one with Jimmys laugh
You mean your new ringtone.
Who is that lady and how on Earth did she end up on a comedy show? My FIVE year old daughter (whos behind in her math skills i may add) was able to solve that one in about 5 seconds. How on Earth does someone so stupid get to that age?
Toby Naylo
Fienix Catherine Tate. Not to be sexist or anything but from my experience alot of older women don't use mathematics or practice it at all
"Jon do you get annoyed facing the wrong way in the car?"
had me crying laughing
RIP Sean. You'll be forever missed but your comedy will live on
Well said
At least we can go back and watch him whenever we feel low and have a great laugh with him RIP Sean
This video is about Miles
@@ThatOneToucan is it really? Its usually always about Sean, even if its not about Sean
@eolsunder Yes
It is
Just because Sean is dead, doesn't mean you have to make every video about him.
8:22 is my favourite part. Miles and Sean behaving like two naughty school boys at the back of the classroom. "He was whispering to me about Hitler". That "SHUT UP!" from Miles cracks me up too. He has such great chemistry with Sean.
Oh just take some responsibility for once in your life miles, stop being so frightened of making mistakes and just live a bit
I've watched all the episodes with Miles and Sean and they're constantly talking and whispering to each other and you can see Miles break conversation, sit up and pay attention when Jimmy calls their name and Sean following suit. I usually never see Sean talk to the guests so much (especially when they're not supposed to).
I don't really get the joke when sean says "I'm on the fence"
It reminds me of when in assembly you’d just talk quietly and one of you would say something so funny that you just burst out laughing and get sent to the heads office
The 'shut up' is my single favourite moment from this show
Sean Lock: *Opens mouth*
Miles: *Dies in hysterics*
As it says
*ISEETWATS*
perfect response lol
I was really hoping all those whelks would come spewing back out of Seans mouth during that episode. The silly gimboid
Imagine your OTP
Ed
Same.
There you go buddy. I just gave your comment it's 1000th like. Be blessed!
"I can't believe I missed a Zoomba class for this."
**wheeze**
“I’m always being accused of being well educated! But just cause you’ve paid for something, doesn’t mean it’s worked” is just GOLD. 😅
I seriously believe that no other comedian other than Miles could have delivered the line "I don't know about you Miles but I'm on the fence" any better and funnier 🤣🤣🤣
I'm just waiting for the opportunity to say "(insert name) was just whispering to me about Hitler" and then go from there
Why would he be talking to himself??
Because he was explaining what someone (Sean) had said to him
@@diongifford7218 You're clearly too thick to get it.
Miles laughing makes every joke 10x funnier
He even makes a simple observation hysterical 11:45
I was about to like your comment but then I noticed that the like count is at 666 at the moment.
“Hasn’t she just” always cracks me up 😂
Anyone who can make Sean laugh almost every time he speaks is my favorite type of person. Miles is one of my favorite panel show guests on any show. He just looks like he's having a wonderful time.
Sean and Miles are like a married couple. Sometimes it petty arguments other times they're pissing themselves laughing. Brilliant to watch together!
Markus Aurelious let’s not forget about spitting on each other during sex.
@@borismuller86 Good luck trying it without a spit.
A married coupe? I don’t think many husbands would get away with calling their wives a “fat fuck”. 😂🤣
@@grahamlive Interesting how you assume Sean is the husband. Or even that a married couple has to be heteronormative.
Miles Jupp and Sean Lock buddy comedy when?
Those two are so brilliant together
i was gonna say the same thing
Buddy cop movie
They're obviously real life friends but I never would have guessed. They're amazing.
Ya fat fuck!
Found myself back here. The chemistry between Miles and Sean is just beautiful. A joy to watch again, glad it is still here for us to enjoy.
Watching a lot of Sean Lock stuff this evening…. He was so funny. Miles and Sean together was always a treat on this show.
Miles is the most generous comedian when it comes to laughing at others jokes.
He makes all their jokes funnier with his laughter.
And he does it without an annoying Jimmy, nish or Katherine Ryan laugh
I don't think he's generous, more if he finds something funny, he laughs. There are a fair amount of panel show stars who laugh because it's a comedy show, not because they find it funny.
@Jonesie One of my comments about comedians is that you can tell the good ones from the great ones because the great ones are the ones who can make other comedians laugh spontaneously. All comedians like a laugh, obviously, it's their job, but most have to learn to contain their laughter so they can get through their set. Most of their laughter (for example, Jimmy's) is partially forced because they've learnt to rein it in But Miles seems to have never bothered learning that skill. You see him on any panel show, if he finds something funny, he laughs and is quite obviously enjoying it.
There's a blooper from Mock the Week. He and Gary Delaney are sat next to each other. Gary's leg suddenly spasms and Miles just cracks up. No professionalism, just starts pissing himself.
It’s a tie between him and Nish Kumar
Sean and Miles have so much Chemistry !
Aravindh Swaminathan
Yeah, they are really great together 😂🤣
You can always see them cracking up in the background, really good pairing I reckon
Yeaa XD
I agree :D
When those two get together they start behaving like two kids in the back of class messing around.
Miles getting out the picture of sean is the funniest thing ever
Love Sean’s reaction to this!
Miles has to be the new captain, if and when the show returns. It'll never be the same but I think Sean would have liked this. Love you Sean.
Heartbroken about Sean dude 💔
I think that’s a good call; or possibly Lee Mack, since Lee, and Sean, were pretty good friends.
Though I know Lee does Would I Lie to You, so he might be too busy to take on another full time role.
They may just go with guest team captains, like they have done from the start, when either Sean, or Jon, were couldn’t be there; that would be my bet, since they wouldn’t like to think that they’re replacing Sean- even though he wouldn’t have cared, because that’s just what he was like haha.
Fuck, I miss Sean.
I think the Christmas special has Lee Mack as captain
"Good luck trying it without spit" is one of the all time great lines!
And Sean is delighted that Miles took it farther.
I don't know about you, CollectioNeo, but I'm on the fence.
It's up there with "I said don't have an erection"
..but somehow Jimmy Carr thinks the crux of the joke is back with Seans offer not to spit, minus the sexual overture, I think he totally missed the punchline or he is trying (and failing) to steady the ship by cleaning up Sean's original joke and repeating it. Who knows. I am inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he is buying some time so he can have a good laugh while maintaining some semblance of maturity at the same time.
And also "what have you been looking into, except gloryholes"
yesss THANK YOU FOR doing my request.
I remember that comment lol.
Thank you
Why the fuck did they blur your name out lol
lol
Excellent suggestion good sir!
'Good luck trying it without a spit.'
Best comeback ever.
I always liked jimmy’s “if you want my comeback, you’ll have to scrape it off your mom’s teeth”
Heart breaking to think we will never see a Sean and miles duo again, these guys were the perfect duo and had so much chemistry together comedically. ❤️❤️
Such a funny man. "Hasn't she just"...that was razor sharp!
"... cause you won't even do the bare minimum..."
"ooh, bare!"
xD
I think he meant the animal... bear
Or did he?
Fair point though :)
Jon's 'Ooh bear' comment actually kills me. Right in the middle of a fully fledged domestic between Miles & Sean. So underrated.
It's "bare". He was pretending to piggyback on Sean's "bare minimum".
I adore Miles. He ALWAYS looks like he's just out for a good night of fun and is going to enjoy himself to the full.. I suppose it's good to get away from 5 kids!
Bloody catholics 😊
A show with Miles and Joe Wilkinson travelling the UK to find the best pickled egg, would be amazing! You’re welcome Channel 4, I don’t want any royalties, just a pot of welks!
and Sean!
what is welks
Rasmus They're spelt whelks and delicious with vinegar and a bit of pepper.
Rasmus
I believe they are sea snails.
Hey *Rasmus* ask *Stay-C* what is Google
Miles telling Sean to shut up is the highlight of my life
You fat fuck
I don't think he minded it much, as it was a callback to the Poem read by John Cooper Clark, a short moment before in the show.
The only man that can play Sean's game. Lol
Miles and Sean would be a perfect team for the Big Fat Quiz!
9:36 my favourite Moment Sean saying you fat f*ck at the end kills me 😭🤣🤣
While watching Miles lose it is always hilarious, I will never forget him bringing a picture of Sean on the show and calling him an inspiration. Watching Sean lose it was brilliant.
Miles Jupp doesn't just have the best laugh in comedy. He has the best laugh in the world.
Johnny Knoxville may disagree with you. But Miles' is certainly up there!
Best laugh in Balamory. I
James may has a brilliant laugh also
Miles and Sean’s relationship is so enjoyable to watch. He will be missed.
I imagine that's why Miles doesn't do it anymore, same with Bill Baily
Sean and miles are my favourite duo ever
Ooohhh thank you so much for this compilation. Jupp losing it is one of my (and it seems many others') favourite things.
panny14 agreed
panny14 Q
Its also one of my favourite things, along with..rainbows and roses and whiskers on kittens, bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens.
Miles Jupp.
The only person I've ever seen, who on more than 1 occasion, could take Sean's hilarious antics without laughing, and throw it back at him.
These two are great as a team! Hahaha
I lovenhow Greg Davies covers his mouth when he laughs like a kid who's been caught doing something dumb but hilarious 😂😂
R.I.P. Sean, you'll be truly missed and this show wont be the same without you.
How Sean holds his side(s) when he's literally about to laugh himself into stitches... Very few times I've seen that. Well done Miles! P.S. (6:35).
Hilarious as usual... the next compilation should be guests giving jimmy better insults than he gives them #therevengeoftheguests !!
it'll be a small video
Oh, yes! There has been so many good retorts and just general responses =D
@Sam Or the one where Rachel says she's got a smaller dress to avoid VAT and then says "You'd know all about that Jimmy"
@Sam That was Stephen Mangan (naturally funny guy)
This video is contagious. Can’t stop watching it. I absolutely love Sean and Miles’s chemistry 😭😍
Sean and Miles were always my favourite pairing. They had great chemistry. I also really wish Miles had been on when Joe Wilkinson done his poem! I think he would of literally died of laughter haha
Miles completely loosing it is just as good as when he makes Sean loose it when Miles Brings out the black and white photos of Sean. Now we need a Johnny Vegas compilation!
Or when the pair of them, cracks Jimmy Carr.
losing
His bold "shut up"
Caught me off guard!
Hahahaha
If Johnny, please include subtitles for us Americans!
Can't tell you how long I have waited for this compilation. MIles is adorable
Daniyal Rehman love you, handsome.
Please tell us!
"She spends the rest of the day in the bookies" hilarious
Some of Seans best bits here too - truly poignant when today he passed
Sean laughing when Miles shows Sean’s picture was so uplifting
OMG I've been waiting for this ever since that one comment. I freaking love Miles.
:)
SMR J haha I had the same idea before and was hoping some fan account would make it but I'm so glad you made the comment to the official account lol. This was awesome.
haha so glad to see it
He's called Kilometres Jupp when the show is broadcast in Europe.
8:22. You can actually hear Sean blabbering about Hitler before Jimmy interrupts. Hahaha. XD
Rob Alexander That’s too bad! It would have been such a funny ad-lib by Miles otherwise!
Qwertasd10 It still could have been an ad lib. We don’t know what Sean said about Hitler.
“Jon, do you get annoyed facing wrong way in the car?”
Can somebody explain this joke to me? This is the only one I didn't get watching that episode
Rishav Koirala it’s a car seat joke. Jon is a tiny baby man, thus requiring him to have to sit in a child’s car seat facing toward the seat instead of forward. Because he is, a tiny baby man
The outros for these compilations are god tier
*This is the compilation I've been waiting for...thank you*
The black and white photo of himself really got Sean good.
Rest in peace Sean Lock!! You gave me hours of laughter and were definitely one of my favorites!!😥❤
I've found Miles' laugh contagious for years and years. Thank you for making this, and thanks to the person who suggested it!!!
It’s brilliant because in terms of their backgrounds, accents, way they speak is completely different but they have amazing chemistry. Love Sean and Miles.
RIP Sean, always had me in tears with laughter.
6:08 - 6:35
Speaking as a guy who did improv during university, this is brilliant comedy work from them both. Each one feeding the other lines, the other embracing the offers and one-upping each other. It really shows just how talented and well coordinated Sean and Miles are.
I'd like to see Miles Jupp on taskmaster!! He'd be great
I’ve been saying this for years! him & catherine

Watching Miles crack up at Joe's description of his day w/ Rachel is all-time
Always loved Miles and Sean together. They made a great double act and seemed to genuinely make eachother fully crack up.
Miles and Sean playing for claud is one of my favourite moments, so sad to hear about Sean. RIP
its the bit at 11:42 that I always re-watch. Miles is in tears just laughing at Jimmy's reaction not even her.
"Look at Jimmy!" while dying
Miles Jupp needs to be on TV more. Give him his own sitcom, travel documentary, rural detective series, antique repair show... whatever. just make them happen
Sean and Miles were an incredibly funny team
You know that the Miles and Sean spit joke is funny when Jimmy Carr actually laughs like a normal person.
“He said i dunno about you Miles I’m on the fence” 😂
2:42 Jimmy Carr's true laugh
Yes! I don't know why he does that stupid fake laugh
@@TheGreatPresenter Because it got him famous.
The Superginge i doubt that. Its probably just a tick he developed in his youth.
@@omegastar19 I heard he was very self-conscious about his laugh because he thought it sounded very condescending, thus he started doing the other laugh more and more
pisse3000 that sounds plausible, thanks for that info.
"Oh it's great...I mean, it's great to be back with one of life's winners" 😂😂😂
Used that line once and a got a big laugh. Cheers, Sean.
Yesterday I watched several "In Memorium" compilations for Sean. But this has the clip all those seemed to have left out. "I won't spit on you tonight when we're having sex." I remember it like the first time I saw that episode. So dry (ha!), and so subversive for such an unassuming man. I know this 8OO10CDC family will miss him but, even here in America, he will never be fogotten.
You should do a Susie Dent innuendo compilation
Susie Dennuendo. Sorry, where's the door?
Only Sean can make jimmy laugh his real laugh. Rip Sean Lock.
Literally the most boss moment:
Jimmy Carr, genuinely getting Channel 4 to foot a £10k bill JUST to see Sean shit himself on live TV 🤣
RIP Sean
"He said I don't know about you, Miles, but I'm on the fence." That was golden! LOL
"It just takes two goes at me"
"Stop it"
Amazing.
RIP Sean
I’ve been laugh/crying over these clips for the past 3 days
Anyone who can make the late, great Sean Lock literally hold his sides laughing is a comic genius. Miles is a legend.
I love it when he loses it at Joe Wilkinson! 😂
I love Miles. He's not like a lot of comedians that suppress their reaction to jokes or just don't laugh at all. He appreciates comedy and peoples shtick.
Absolutely. His reactions make jokes even funnier. Hell, he can make a simple observation at 11:44 sound utterly hilarious.
I’m genuinely gonna miss Sean Lock. RIP
Sean and Miles together are comedy GOLD.
This guy is an incredible comedian, he lights up every panel show he's on
He's even better on his Radio 4 show, he is so quick.
That Tate moment is the most entertaining numbers competition I’ve ever seen. She was genuinely mystified up until the very last calculation. Bless her heart.
Nah she's playing a character, she's an amazing comedy actress
She’s got to be playing- I remember the episode of Never Mind the Buzzcocks where David Tennant guest-hosted, she was acting completely confused & weird the whole time, this can’t be the real her.
I honestly find the intentional incompetence borderline unfunny, it can work but its so obvious it sorta makes me remember im watching an edited together show and i start noticing other "faked" bits
RIP mate
I'm gonna miss Sean. RIP.
Miles Jupp wheezing is contagiously funny. Thank you for this amazing compilation.
Good luck trying it without a spit, one of true best lines ever 😂😧
Dave Smith spit*
Haha, it's not because the line is, " good luck trying it without spit "
Spin makes no sense at all. How thick are you?
Clive Bindley Clearly an autocorrect error. Not sure how you weren't able to figure that out.
So auto correct changed it from "spit " to " a spin "?
I can smell the bullshit from here!
Clive Bindley Gonna assume you're not actually that much of a spastic and that, for your sake, you're just trolling.
