Ive been watching this channel for a while now. i bought a 500 a couple weeks ago and the ebay seller neglected to mention that the CF reader had broken pins. Still even on the stock firmware and with only the internal memory to work with it can still make excellent beats. even if i dont have the memory to store more than 3 or 4 of them at a time. Hopefully ill be able to fix it soon and get it fully functioning because i love it so far. Edit: Figured since it was busted anyway and i was planning on replacing the whole board i decided to shove some fake pins made out of a sewing needle into the CF card where the pins broke off and it miraculously works now! im stuck with a t28mb CF card for the forseeable future but thats fine with me honestly
Wow! that’s pretty cool that it works, I would of never thought of that or been able to do it 😂 As long as you can get the finished beats onto a computer or something then that’s a brilliant solution!

Good stuff. I feel like the 500 is quit buggy. I would like to see a video where u talkin about wich bugs u expirienced
I wouldn’t say that my mpc has had many bugs but there are a few things that happened that weren’t ideal, I’ll try to get a vid out talking about some stuff like that

Really good stuff. I wish my MPC 500 wasn’t so buggy
What’s wrong with it?
@@ThaREC no 100 percent sure, it crashes every so often, and also I notice when I copy a sample to different pads, and apply effects, it sometimes corrupts the sample and has a popping noise. But even with all those things, I still use it and it’s fun
@@shamaruku also when sounds are still playing and u press record u might run into issues
@@shamaruku I’ve never had anything like that happen with mine so I’m not totally sure what it could be… maybe something to do with RAM but I really don’t know
