Both argued well but I think BOTW won in this argument. If you think about it, Skyrim was an upgraded Oblivion, whereas BOTW did something completely new. I like both games, personally. I wish BOTW had deeper side quests. The stories and quests in Skyrim had me more emotionally invested, but the gameplay in BOTW is superior. I think both franchises can learn from one another.
