This has to be my favorite episode, the amount of knowledge and history of this land and the guy passing it down is awesome.
Agreed
me too man, what an amazing story and car. looking forward to updates on it
Here here 👍🏼
My thoughts exactly👍
+1 here. mind blown when those car started rightaway
Poor man. Must be so hard letting those cars go. I’m glad they went to a good home and will be respected. Well done Dennis. You are the perfect owner to continue the legacy.
Also how lucky is he to have his 90 year old father still healthy and hanging with you all. Absolutely outstanding!
At a certain moment you have to let go and let other people to enjoy those cars if you are not using them anymore.
My father decided to stop driving a few months before his 90th birthday. His last car was a manual 2000 Saab 9-3 turbo. He thought that automatics were for old people who couldn't drive a manual.
@@lznicutotally agree but doesn't make it any easier !! But props to the guy for doing it and not letting them collect dust until he's dust
They went to a great caretaker. When you go up in ages one has to let things go...
hardly
What an absolutely humble guy this man is....nothing he's said is about him it's all Wally or the team. What a guy!!!!
I love how Dennis is documenting history on video with all these great people before it's too late
I have no idea what you can do to top this video - THANK YOU! Alex's face driving that Pantera was priceless.
I am a longtime fan of the channel, and generally love each episode. But, I honestly feel like this is my favorite, so far.
My father in law had a Pantera and I loved it for many years. Seeing these and the history behind them, definitely brought back memories and makes me want another.
There is a local person here in the Paulding County GA area who has a late model Pantera that was found without drivetrain. I don't know how much work it took, but it is coyote swapped.
Though I love the original Cleveland engines, that thing is a beast and a work of art.
Oooooo I bet a Coyote motor in that would be king🤴
@port nut I want to do something similar with a 79 firebird.. strong new "Pontiac 400" fuel injected a Butler Brothers Pontiac build
@port nut the setup you're talking about sounds awesome
@port nut the biggest issue was overheating when sitting in traffic with the original setup.
Your idea sounds awesome
@@vannjunkin8041 that would be very cool
What a history lesson. Such a humble man with “all praise be to Wally”❤️!! Thank you Dennis and crew for another “EPIC” video!!!
Well, as everyone has already stated, WOW! My favorite episode ever! From start, to that decadent finish! Thank you for 40:59 wonderful minutes of escape, Dennis!
My favorite episode to date. The history "living", the stories had me smiling the whole time.
A Pantera is my absolute number one dream car. This was an awesome video. Loved hearing all the history of their race car. What an amazing find Dennis.
Naa that`s my #1 dream car. lol
I agree. This was a top episode. Thanks..
@@willythewave stop lying its my #nr1 dream car!
They were so cheap not that long ago.
@@sam_s_ Yeah until Dennis and Richard Rawlings and Chip Foose started driving the price up on them.
Favorite episode to date, OUTSTANDING! Gary was w wealth of knowledge and very humble in a bad ass matter of fact way. Hope to see a lot more of the Pantera from Hell
What a fantastic episode! It’s not always we get to learn this much and also to see three cars running 🤩
I have become addicted to this show. It is better than most that’s on traditional television. I hope this is financially successful for the group. In hopes they continue to produce more episodes. Congratulations Mr Collins!!
0ver 400,000 subs and growing. Definitely profitable.
Love the history and the Pantera's! This was my favorite episode full of great stories of them beating up on giants!
I really appreciate people who lay random historical bits on you. There's some great stories and storytellers out there. Awesome video!
That has to be one of the best ever episodes ever. Alex’s grin was a picture. “thats why english drink warm beer, because their refrigerators don’t work” class. Keep ‘m coming Dennis.
Always makes my friday when I watch your coffee walk my friend.
Thank you 😊
27:07 Dennis's reaction is so authentic. The sound of the yellow car......WOW!!!!
This is one of the coolest Coffee Walk episodes thus far. Three incredible vehicles, those Panteras sound insane
When I was at the 2006 Speed Week at Bonneville, Dave Bloomberg (The Avanti Kid) drove his brother's Verde Green painted Pantera to a record just shy of 210 mph. Dave's 1963 Avanti land speed racer broke its crankshaft that year but came back a few years later to record a personal best of ~ 215 mph - which was not a record for his car's class.
Dennises knowledge is unbelievable on all cars OUTSTANDING 🤙🏻
He was a sponge in this episode the owner had all the knowlege . Lol
He gets it from Google & Wikipedia LOL. He does have a lot of experience with JEEP CJ's and SHELBY Mustangs though.
@@paulelliott682 you must be new to the channel 😆
What a cool story. The knowledge and enthusiasm of the owner is remarkable. We need more of that! You snagged some phenomenal machines and shared a fantastic story. Thanks.
Great establishing shots, Thank You! Really puts us viewers there at the location. So many CZcamsrs forget the fundamentals of story telling like good establishing shots, it's a great reminder for myself, don't know if that's from Zack or Dennis but big thumbs up, well done. I have two friends that owned Panteras and always admired the beautiful lines and simplicity of these cars, after hearing these testimonials I think I'll be doing some research on them!
Wow both Pantera's were just awesome to see rolling down the driveway. A beautiful T-Bird as well.💯🙌✌️Dennis is just an awesome guy all around, treats everyone with such respect.
Once again Dennis you knocked out of the park with a Pantera video OMG it does not get any better than that one race car. Back in the 80s I had a chance to buy one of those cars for $6000 and of course the wife said no I’ve always regretted it the rest of my life. Anyway once again thank you so much for an outstanding show above and beyond anybody else.
Man how prices have went up It takes a rich man to be able to buy cool cars these days that’s for sure
@@oldscoolcooldiecast1879 In '71 I was 18. I bought a '65 fastback Mustang with the 288 hi po drivetrain installed in it,from a good friend, who also was the one that built the engine & put it in. I payed him $650 for it! It ran 8.30 in the 1/8th with 7" cheater slicks & 4.57 posi. I had more fun with it & beat several cars with it,including a 340 Duster on the street...twice. It ran quicker at the strip with headers uncapped & bigger jets. Now I'm 69 & still miss it!!
When I bought my 1971 Cougar Eliminator at the Mercury Dealership I could have upgraded to a Pantera for $550.00 more.. I guess the Eliminator never killed me. Thing is they are Time Capsules when loved and maintained,, Dennis made a great buy . A Race car for himself
I hope you finally got the car and dumped the wife.😅
What an incredible story! Thank you for taking us on this epic journey with you, Dennis!
What an amazing episode. I had goose bumps listening to these stories. Dennis, you are doing this world such a huge service by keeping this history alive. I can't Thank you enough.
What an outstanding bit of history, and nice that its now on record for years to come.
Great cars, great people and awesome stories! This may be the world's fastest Pantera around a track but the top speed record (219mph) belongs to a Swedish Pantera owned by Kjell Holgersson, driven by him and co-driver Bjorn Carapi.
Yeah the rebuilt motor on a straightaway would hit 225- I'm guessing
@@Kevinthornton17 Exactly. They were 206 plus BEFORE the latest build. 👍
@@Kevinthornton17 Carapi also took one of those classic Donzi boats well north of 100mph with one of those engine builds. There is a clip here on CZcams...
Can you guys please do a mini documentary on Wally and the full history of the cars and his work (cut in the old footage and interview them all) 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Yes!
What a score Dennis!!! I love the sound of the red Pantera!!! No stock cam in that one!!! As always Dennis Thanks for taking us along!!!!
Just a classy show for a change. Great job Dennis and crew. Backing out of the garage was more than cool, it was badass!
Probably one of your best videos yet. I've always loved the Pantera. Beautiful cars and what a sound they make. Thank you for some more OUTSTANDING "your word" content.
That yellow Pantera is to die for. Best episode yet.
Fantastic episode guys! I can't imagine what Gary was feeling selling those cars. Decades of memories and history. That would be hard to let go. At least he knows they went to a good home.
The history that you bring out is just AWESOME!!! The driver is such a humble man.... giving all the credit to Wally and the team. As Dennis would say "OUTSTANDING" A man with a giant heart.
Love Panteras. What a great episode. I've never wanted a car on Coffee Walk more.
What an unbelievable story. Another great video Dennis 👊
I enjoy watching the Coffee Walk videos because of what I learn from you, and the fact that you're a class act
Thank you for sharing. I have heard the name Wallys from an acquaintance who owns a Pantera. I told him many years ago that if he ever wanted to sell his, to let me know. He's pushing 80 and still drives it...
I got to drive a different one in high school, working for an upholstery shop. I've wanted one ever since. Some day I'll justify it enough to myself and my bank account to go buy one.
Dennis Hands DOWN my favorite episode.....I love all your awesome finds but GARY'S love and knowledge of the PANTERA's and his clear and absolute homage to WALLY and RESPECT to Wally was just so cool. Not to mention the other stars of the show...TBIRD....74 Pantera and The Pantera from HELL(P.O.N.E.). For you DENNIS............. OUTSTANDING!!!!!!! Gary thank You for your LOVE OF PANTERA so wonderful to hear your GREAT stories!!!!!!!!!!
That was a great great episode. 👍 loved that the gentleman was a driver and the stories he told. Really cool stuff. Thank You Professor and Team.
What a great video of such interesting people that you visited and the knowledge of their history thanks so much for sharing your experiences and daily life what a wonderful story this was thanks for making the videos and letting us tag along 😊
I see similar comments... but absolutely hands down one of my favorite episodes as well. Love Panteras. The first (and only)"supercar" I've ever had the pleasure to drive. Again. Great video!
Y'all had me at two Panteras and a '57 T. To see and hear all three of them blew my mind!
Let me NOT forget to mention the incredible history!
Thank you, as always, for your great content and the incredible work your people do, the intimacy you have with the owners, and just being genuine.😊
Amazing find with amazing stories. I can't imagine a better day. Thanks for bringing us along
Awesome story and amazing history. Thanks for this journey. Look forward to see the yellow Pantera at the track in a future video.
I've watched a lot of your podcasts this is the best, this guy actually knew and was respected by these power people just a fountain of info and a true team player, well done.
What an amazing video with some equally amazing cars.I once saw a Pantera in a petrol station near where i live in England. The guy driving it spent about 15 minutes showing us the car and telling us about the make and model. When he left,we were about 20 metres away.He started the car and the ground literally shook,we were drooling at how it looked and sounded. One of the most beautiful cars I’ve ever seen.
Alex is like a kid in a toy shop 😂
One of my favorite videos very humble people with a lot of respect and knowledge.
History to be pass on to the next generations .
Nice work Dennis
Greatest Show on Earth
Always good to visit and break bread 🍞 with Dennis.
Thanks
What a fantastic story and history of one awesome car! I'm glad you're able to get them all running it really was something to hear them. Thanks for bringing us along 👍☮️🇺🇲
By far my favorite episode, amazing history of those cars . Gonna be hard to top that one . Awesome stuff.
Those cars are Super Amazing! Dennis, your adventures are alway fun to watch! I’m always excited to see a new car episode. And the restaurants you end up in make me hungry every time😮 Thanks for what you and your Fabulous crew do for all of us car guys out here in the automotive atmosphere 🤩😎
What a thrill! You got all 3 of them running. Wow, I love this stuff. It’s great to see Dennis and Co. so excited.
Thanks very much for sharing with us, the history of which I did not know about and to have pictures to go with them, wow!! Awesome video Dennis and all the gang, hope you and your dear families have a wonderful weekend!!
This is without a doubt, the greatest coffee walk car buy ever, for ALL the reasons. And a joy for us viewers, Thanks Dennis for taking us along.
This has to be the greatest video
(and now my favorite) on the subject.
Definitely a keeper.
I'm searching now for a nice original Pantera and this has got my heart going!
Really incredible.
Ford GT owner here.
Got to be honest your production value has gone through the roof extremely good quality videos and editing
10x the quality of gasmonkey's
@@H1GHdrogen gasmonkeys cameraman is terrible
They can improve on audio
Except GM doesn't do the clickbait titles. How do you find a car that isn't lost? And since when does buying a vehicle mean you rescued it? Rescued from a guy who has absolutely taken care of them. And found a vehicle that you were informed about. Answering an email somehow qualifies it as found.
What a great couple of guys. I dont know how you keep finding the cars and the guys who built them but I appreciate getting home late on a Friday and watching your coffee walk and drinking what is not coffee......Keep em coming Dennis. You have a great group of guys putting your show together...Top Shelf
Absolutely your best video yet! Simply outstanding to find and own cars like this. Cannot wait for future episodes with these in.
Mr Collins, you are a legend. I love watching your channel. Your knowledge of your craft is unrivalled anywhere in the world. Long may your channel continue.
AWESOME stuff Mr Collins. You are a fabulous ambassador for tough, rare automobiles. Thanks for sharing your life & your team. Hat's off to you Sir. Billy J... Queensland, Australia.
Awesome episode. I've loved Pantera's since I saw one when I was a kid. Inviting the sellers to dinner after your purchases always makes me smile. You are definitely a class act Dennis. Keep up the great work. And continued success!😉👍🤙✌❤
The yellow Pantera that blew up in the movie " Cannonball " began my love of them . I was around 14 in the early 1980's . Then shortly after I saw that movie a guy used to visit the neighborhood in a nice late model black one I used to go drool on .
Almost 1800 miles one way to pick up these amazing pieces of history. Imagine the fuel bill? But the history and provenance of those Panteras are priceless indeed. Well done Dennis !!
This was an AWSOME watch, one of the best cars stories for a car guy. Keep up the great content!!
Really enjoyed this video, you have an absolutely amazing team. What I admire most about these videos is that you tell the story too which adds an extra dimension to the classic cars. Outstanding work again and I know my weekends here when your notifications pop up. Greetings from Ireland.
What an awesome episode, it’s incredible the history associated with those Panteras, and Yes Dennis, we demand a follow up on those two incredible automobiles. The T Bird was nice too…😜
Greetings guys from New Zealand. I've watched every episode of Coffee Walk, but this by far is the best. Just a fabulous watch and learn more history. Thank you Dennis and all your crew. Just awesome !!!!!!
Amazing, absolutely amazing. Thank you for being a legend and for sharing, Dennis.
Also want to shout out Alex for being a diligent protégé. For me, he is an up and coming legend in the making.
Those Panteras look so badass with the huge rear tyres 💪
Dennis and crew, this was the best one so far. And I’ve been watching since you’ve started. What great stories and great guy. Thanks again for content that I always say” they can’t top this one, then this vid tops them all. For me anyway
Incredible episode Dennis. Thankfully reinforces that good things happen to good people. Best 40:59 mins spent this week........
What a great Pantera video. I've owned mine for about 25 years and drive it every weekend (after many years of problems and very little driving). It is finally the car I always hoped it would be after a 4 year restoration and modification. Can't wait to see follow up progress on all three cars. Well done!
Wow, outstanding episode!!!
This one's going to be hard to top!!
The yellow race car sounds amazing 🤩 loved that little Lotus Europa
Yes don't ignore the Europa (bread van!)
@@cornishrider 😂
Dennis, you’re a man after my own heart when it comes to food (and of course cars). Almost every menu you go for you make the same choices that I would!!
It's a joy and absolute pleasure to see you rescue these priced and rare autos ..... I hope someday you open a working museum of cars that would be open to the public to view while at the same time still take them out for a run on the track or even have a private track out back and offer rides in your auto collection ..... thank you
Another outstanding video Dennis, Alex and Zack, you guys rock!!! Gary and Wally are legends and Gary has some fantastic stories, such a humble guy just like you Dennis, I love your videos keep them coming...
Really enjoyed this episode, best one yet! The history of these cars is incredible!
This was a fantastic episode! I've learned so much watching the Coffee Walk series. Thank you and keep it going!
By far my favorite episode. Also, it happened like 10 minutes from where I live. I think I`ve even met the buyer years ago. Awesome job. I can`t imagine letting go of those Panteras.
I sure hope to see this car on the track one day. It needs to happen. This was an amazing episode.
Gary Archambault is such a cool guy, loved hearing his stories
Outstanding episode. Just thee best show you have done yet. Humble driver, great cars, great history. I saw the Pantera at a few events, owner looked at my 71 boss 351 I had drivin there. They love the 351 engines. That car still sounds nasty. Dennis, you are the real deal car guy, classy as hell. Keep up the great work. 👍✌🍩
My favorite episode!!! The story is absolutely over the TOP!!l
Racing history gets all of my attention!!
There's so much to be told..
What a lovely humble man every time any praise was sent his way he deflected it towards the team and Wally. I'm going to go research him as if he could cause companies to redevelop their cars he totally deserves the credit. Dennis has talked the talk but has most definitely walked the walk so he knows not everyone who has a fast car can drive it well and by the sounds of things he drove the nuts off of that beautiful car. That must have been multi-millions of $ that that man and that car have cost the big manufacturers. So like you guys I am in disbelief that these beautiful cars are not right up there with the Ferrari and Ford GT and Porsche's and not to forget Lamborghini, is it the mongrel theory? The cobra was a mongrel and they have always been strong. Even today we are seeing manufacturers using other engines in their cars, I think the vantage uses a BMW lump and Huyra uses an AMG so some seriously good cars are mongrels. I know the old lambos were sharing parts with cars way down the line on price, also you would have never parked an old Lambo on that grass verge after it had been driven for any length of time they do love to burst into flames. Sorry for the extra-long comment but you guys always make things so interesting and entertaining, this channel is way better than what's on TV the camera work the sound and the content beats what top gear and the grand tour, your channel is a car show for car lovers I always come away entertained and educated well done and thank you for all the hard work each one of you put into the show. Best wishes from Scotland.
Absolutely the best episode to date!!!! Please give us an update along the way
Awesome score and backstory!!! Thank You & God Bless!!
Such a great video with lots of history and stories. Thanks for sharing.
This has to be one of the best finds you have acquired, by far
OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!
Nothing but punctual. Nothing less of perfect! You guys rock! I love the way you guys do businesss!
Dennis, you are livin' the dream. Thanks for sharing.
my all time favorite car. Its about time. Thanks Dennis. This was awesome! Dennis, please film an update video of the yellow car. Also, what's up with the unknown California race car update?
The little food feature at the end of each episode is always a highlight. Cheers to the best automotive channel on YT 👍
i stumbled across this video this evening and have had my eyes widened regarding the Pantera! in uk here i have seen and photographed a few but they are very scarce. what a pleasure to hear the history from such an informed person. amazing, thankyou. now subscribing.
Great coverage Dennis. History and resurrection. Thanks again for sharing.
Wow! Just when I thought your "Significant Stang" video was my favorite. You come up with this, equally awesome video. The back story, just grabbed my attention from beginning to end. To hear the red/blue car start was sweet. But to hear that yellow monster start, that just blew my socks off. This video was absolutely OUTSTANDING!!!!! I don't see how you could possibly top this video. But I am sure looking forward to the next one. Thanks for entertaining us
