  • Llangorse Lake is the largest natural lake in South Wales, and is situated in the Brecon Beacons National Park near to the town of Brecon and the village of Llangorse.
The lake is famous for its coarse fishing (particularly pike), and watersports
Llangorse Lake is a eutrophic glacial lake with a 5 miles circumference covering an area of 327 acres. The lake is 1-mile long and 505 feet above sea level. The lake is sited between the basins of the River Wye to the north and the River Usk to the south, and was formed by debris deposited by melting glaciers trapping water on a plateau over time. The Afon Llynfi provides the main input of water into the lake and continues as the lake overflow stream.

anshrick28 thanks for the comment. This video was shot in 2014 before all the rules n regs came in.This was a quad copter I built from scratch and flew with a set of fpv goggles. It was about the time this industry started to take off. Shame I miss those days. I would check with the local authority first see what rules are in place flying there. Lovely part of the world though l. Definitely recommend visiting there
