    • @robbygray9562
      @robbygray9562 Před 2 měsíci +1

      CID destroys it. The modified hi ram kinda closes the power gap but still the CID walks up top pretty good

    It would be great to see this with a couple of budget intakes thrown in so all of us commoners (lol) could see if our budget intake was worth it :)

      @@tptrsn Agreed, There is alot of knowledge out there, but this channel is chalking up to being a massive resource of that knowledge. I built my own engine based off these videos combined with Richard Holdners testing. Hence my LQ4 has TFS225 heads and a Fast LSXRT intake.

    You should also throw on a Victor Jr or other carburetor style manifold with a 4150 pattern throttle body. Give some info/love to the people wanting to keep the classic carbureted look.

    • @52Ford
      @52Ford Před 2 měsíci

      I think the "carburetor look" is what EFI guys give when someone starts talking about jet sizes. Sorta like a blank stare mixed with a bit of confusion.

    Most LS guys are looking for more independent test on the stock LS3 vs ported rodmod vs the non-high rise Performance Design XS on close to stock LS3 displacement 6.2.
    Seems some people are not finding the same real-world results or numbers.

      There was only 1 test of the PD XS vs Rodmod and it made 12 hp over the rod mod on the cammed ls3 on a chevy ss but the owner of the car removed it due to the PD XS having an incurable vacuum issue.

      The L92 intake is less likely to lean out at high rpm, and has an almost identical power curve...... And it's about $200 cheaper. It can give some fitment issues on some cars though.
