Abusing alcohol and opioids ruined me. Evil shit, waking up every morning hungover AND in opioid withdrawals was totally miserable....if I couldnt get some pills and some juice in me id be absolutely miserable. It hurt to exist and I lost everything.....I craved connection with others too man and alcohol was the best way to do it in my view, but it's all fun and games until your friends leave your ran down apartment and you sit alone drinking vanilla extract balling your eyes out, seeing all these people who can just live normally and be happy without booze... eventually (much like opioids) your body needs it to function and as many know alcohol withdrawals can cause seizures
