“No, that’s not it. I want more” says EVERYONE who listens to this. That’s how good it is.
Since you mentioned looping, you really need to see what Kevin can do with it. He has several looping "KOvers" on his solo channel. First should definitely be 'Down', but his Sam Smith 'Stay With Me' is just as impressive in the way he makes his cello, Beyonce, "sing".
Renegade and the Adele medley are also gorgeous.
Please check out "Down"!
Thissss the sam smith cover is one of my faves
Yes please do Kevin's cover of down. You're at the point in your Pentatonix Journey that you can watch it without falling on the floor. You may melt in your chair or be so ecstatic that we have to peel you off the ceiling but you are ready. In addition to checking out Superfruit which I would start with rise feeling myself is also good and Hip Hop goes to Broadway Parts one and two. Whenever you do Superfruit oftentimes they have bloopers at the end so be sure to watch the entire video. They're medley of songs from Frozen is really good and it features Kirsty. Kirstie has her own work on her EP love and Mitch has his own work under the name Messer. I've yet to find any solo work by Matt. So if anybody knows of any please let me know thank you
100% agree!!!
And believe it or not, they did this LIVE during their Hollywood Bowl concert last month. Never thought they'd do it. Glad you noticed Matt's bass drop. Few reactors notice that and the other bass lines. Matt may not be a basso profundo like Avi and may not break speakers but I am just so happy he got onboard for us to continue immersing in PTX. Enjoyed watching you enjoy this
Matt is my personal favorite. His bass singing is not to the level of Avi, but it's grown stronger every year he has been with them. I can't imagine Avi doing the poppier side of their music these past 5 years. They have gone in a different direction with Matt as bass and I'm loving it!!!
@@pattis2641 so true. Makes me wonder the direction they could have taken with Avi. Maybe the classical route? Idk
I just recently gotten into PTX and while I liked Avi, it seemed like he was more serious in music while other had more fun so I wasn’t surprised when he went a different way, I love Matt too, both he and Avi are incredible and nothing should be taken away from either, it’s wasn’t a direct replacement as artists like this are so rare
You MUST watch Popspring 2016 ( 3 originals and the Evolution of Michael Jackson)! It is long, but worth every single second!! Because it’s live, you most likely will have zero copyright issues. (Plus it’s LIVE, so how cool is that….) 😁
Seconding this. It's an amazing, well-curated short concert that showcases the original lineup at their peak.
Oh, this one is a bop! It is so easy to forget that there is no music with these guys!
No instruments, not "no music"!
NOW cd's. I remember when they were called Now That's What I Call Music. God I'm old. Lol
Regarding Matt's voice, last night at the Denver concert they sang "Hallelujah," and despite the fact that I've heard their new arrangement of the second verse before, Matt seriously surprised me. There was one note he reached that sounded to me like it was Avi-blowing-out-speakers low, and the highest note he got to must have been in the lower reaches of the tenor range! I think Matt's been finding ways to increase his range.
This! He has also aged which is helpful for a bass. But he has basically a Scott range but skewed a bit lower. And speaking of looping, I see others have mentioned Kevins looping things. Scott has also done some shorter ones on his tiktok. Some with like 8 layers. Very nice. They are all just stunning musicians.
@@hernameispekka_Rebecca I've said it before: Matt is well on his way to being spectacular. I think I'm going to have to change that to a simple "Matt is spectacular" a good deal sooner than I expected.
Agreed! I’ve seen them twice in concert now with Matt: one time at Christmas 2017 (shortly after he joined PTX) and once in the summer of 2020. He’s grown exponentially as a performer, and he meshes so well with the other singers. He and Kevin have an amazing rapport, and it shows. I truly believe Matt has been enormously helpful to Pentatonix current growth and success. And so excited that their 2021 holiday album, “Evergreen”, has been nominated for a Grammy-their first nomination with Matt as bass!! And don’t forget PTX is getting a Star on The Hollywood Walk of Fame this coming spring!!
@@drieuxkoeppel8152 Exactly! It must be hard to be an integral member of a band with 3 Grammys and not one of them is yours. Matt deserves a Grammy.
I was hoping 'The Prayer" would be nominated - it's certainly worthy of a Grammy. I had no idea they might nominate the entire album it's on! 🤞🤞
Yes, do Superfruit!!! So many EPIC videos ahead if you go down that “rabbit canyon”! Start with Empire Medley 🔥🔥😁
Empire medley OR feeling myself 😂 also definitely watch the full videos for bloopers at the end
Defying Gravity, Frozen Medley, Guy.Exe and The Promise are my favorites.
@@karehelene I love all these, too!! I wish more reactors would do The Promise! I always request it, but few actually follow through.
@@kristipierce4735 I've seen a couple review it. I love it. I heard the original (I assume) version on the radio several months ago. All I could think was SuperFruit had done it so much better.
YES YES Empire medley, blinding display of their arrangement talent AND VOCAL prowess, my gosh, it's staggering
Hi. Fun reaction , They just never never disappoint. Always amazing. FYI. This is the only time they have used auto tune and they did it in honor of Cher using it. Time to listen to “say some thing”. Kirstie slays. “Sing “is a great fun original Their medleys are insane
Evolution of Micheal Jackson. Or Rhianna are both great
"Sing" is definitely a watcher! A tribute to their fans around the world as well!!
Another fantastic Kirstin (and Scott) lead is Shallow. Also featuring Kevin on the cello.
For Kirstin there are some things you should know
First, she has had kind of a self-confidence problem. That was solved beginning late 2016 with the work on her solo EP L.O.V.E (Kirstin TM) and the release early 2017.
Second, 2017 was a bad year in the middle for her. Avi leaving PTX (mental health problems, cancer treatment of his mother), no marriage (broke , she had a fiancé for 2 years). Light at the end with Matt joining PTX.
Third, she had a stint on Broadway in Kinky Boots Three Months. And there is a distinct difference in confidence levels between Kirstin before and after that Broadway experience. Way more self-confident now.
Fourth, she (as they all) has matured a lot. She, Mitch and Scott where 19 at the beginning of PTX, now they are 30. Voices have matured a lot and they always approach outside help for getting better.
That's my opinion based on interviews with Kirstin, Kirstin's Instagram etc. She had her official coming out in 2020, she is bisexual. That was not an secret, but also not open stated before. Her stint in Kinky Boots was instrumental for that (IMHO)
Greetings from Germany
thx
I know everything you mentioned except Kirsty being bisexual. Thank you for filling out her biography for me. I'm so glad things have really turned around for her and she seems to be in a really good place right now. Certainly her body is after having had a baby what was it 4 to 6 months ago.
The bisexual thing is conjecture, but doesn’t matter either way.
@@df5199 no it's not. I've googled the original post from herself (Kirstin).
And it matters for her and her self-confidence.
No problem for me at all and it should be no problem for anybody else in my opinion.
Greetings from Germany
PS I've sadly not bookmark or link, sorry
Interesting. Thank you for the post.
I was born after the 90's so I can't say that I grew up listening to 90's songs, but when I actually listen to that Era of music, it actually makes me feel way better than Songs after the 2000's.
House music is geared to lift you up, no negative vibes to be found. The best!! 😊
I know right? No offense to any music era, but 90s are my fav, and I'm a 2002 kid
Thanks for this!! I was grinning thru the whole thing watching your enjoyment of it.
If you want to hear more of Matt's voice ( and since Christmas commeth next month) check out PTX's You're A Mean One Mr Grinch. Matt has lead thru the whole thing.
Matt does beatbox when Kevin sings sometimes- Havana, Joyful Joyful, they even did a group beatbox competition TikTok where they all beatbox 😂
I had to come back and make a pitch for my SuperFruit favorites and a collection of live Pentatonix music that is incredible (to my untrained ear).

If you think you're going ever have a song where they don't blow your mind get you Mitch slapped you won't be listening to Pentatonix lol It's kinda what they do.
You should hear Kevin's solo cover of Down...it's phenomenal and you can avoid being Mitch slapped for a bit but you'll probably get 'boxed' by Kevin. Is that a thing? It probably is now. 😁
Also, New Rules x Are You That Somebody will get you a focus on Kevin and Matt's combination skills.
You're fun! Love your genuine, upbeat reactions to Pentatonix music. For a change of pace from this bopping dance medley, and a throwback to the Avi years, I recommend their cover of Kiiara's "Gold." The original was big on effects, but PTX stripped it down and created a pure one-take a cappella version. It's magnificent, especially Mitch, doing non-digital vocal chops. People recommend watching the original first if you aren't familiar with it, just to see how cleverly Pentatonix transform it.
Kaye Castleman thank you so much!
I was a 90's kid and I know every single one of these. First time I heard this I was on the edge of my seat with giddiness. Every time we touch was playing on repeat on MTV when I was in gradeschool. Do Gold next, but do listen to the original first. You won't be disappointed I promise
You should really react to their Christmas tour videos they are on right now..a lot of videos popping up on youtube..you can get a taste of them live..and it is Christmas..😊
They never do anything they can't do live, of course the tribute they did to Cher here was the one thing!
Kirstie was on Broadway.
I saw them Thursday at the kickoff of their Christmas Spectacular tour and Kirstie was on FIRE, she was the standout to me ❤️🙌🙌
they just performed this at their Hollywood Bowl concert, they were un-be-lievable!
You should get into their Evolution Of... videos, they are recorded LIVE, should start with Evolution of Music and brace yourself :D
Someone made a side by side of PTX and the original songs. Everything is spot on. Temp, key, beats, etc. Even if you don't have a reaction video to it, it'd be worth checking out. I have to give them even more props for this after seeing how true to the originals they keep it
O come all ye faithful from pentatonics you will love this version it’s more upbeat, and Kevin did this arrangement to honour his Nigerian father
I remember the 'Now...' CDs! As a teenager, I had 'Now...15.' That's how blimmin' old I am.... **uncomfortably contemplates the speed of life...**
I've recently subscribed to you, after you popped up a couple of times in my 'Recommended,' because I'm loving your fun and energy, plus your extra music production knowledge (it's always more interesting when a reactor has an inside knowledge and professional connection to what they're reacting to.)
Back in the days of vinyl we had something called "K-tel" basically abridged versions of all the top songs of the time.
I looked for one of my NOW cds, and also found MTV Party To Go Vol 7 🤣
Another song that has been done a lot is "Imagine". Pentatonix did an amazing cover of it and the video hits hard. Makes me cry every time.
This is one of my fav medleys. The hero in this one to me Kevin and Matt, they were OUTstanding! They killed this!!
The 90s encompassed my middle school, high school, and college years, and what a crazy decade it was! I still have a few NOW CDs from back then. So yeah, really showing my age, lol!
There are a FEW songs without Mitch slaps, but not very many. Some of them may be in the background. But even if it isn't a full-on wallop, his voice still hits differently.
Everyone chair-dances to this medley - even people who don't know many of the songs can't help themselves! The most common reaction at the end is "No! I wanted it to keep going!" You hit on both marks!
Always, if you can, wanting more. Sweet Dreams.
I still have some "NOW" CDs! I love your excitement, cause this is 5+ minutes of pure joy for me. You will love their cover of "Ghost Busters."
Great reaction. I love how fast you became a Pentaholic. I also recommend PopSpring. It’s 4 songs so you may have to split up the reaction.
Love the Buckeye Nation shirt! Go Bucks! O-H!!
And I agree - there is never a song that doesn’t have Mitch surprise me. And their new Holidays Around the World holiday album is great. Prayers for the World is an awesome video from that album. Last year’s Evergreen album was just nominated for a Grammy.
I-O!
I -O!!!
Buckeyes unite! 😁
You are in for a wild ride! They are unmatched. PopSpring 2016 is a live video with perfect mic balance and it includes 3 originals, my favorite of which is Can’t Sleep Love where they include something that isn’t in the official video, it’s an awesome surprise so I don’t want you to miss it. And also they perform their Evolution of Michael Jackson which is epic!!!
I remember when these debuted. I m old! Something about 90s dance that takes me back!
Love your reactions! You're so enthusiastic and upbeat - thanks for sharing!!
Carla Taylor you are so kind! I'm glad you love my reactions!
When u start Christmas songs watch Grinch by PTX please
Yes. And also you must watch o come all ye faithful. That was insane. Please watch amazing grace and imagine. They are incredible.
And 12 days of Xmas...your music producer brain will sooooo appreciate what they did with this. A complete fresh take on what was a boring song
You really should go back to the beginning of PTX. Sing off season 3. Include the judges comments. You will see the original pentaholic, Shawn Stockman and the original Mitch slap.
Believe, this is a tribute to both Cher and from the 4th performance on the sing off. But to truly appreciate it, watch the sing off performances.
It's:
"I'm Blue, if I were Green I would die!" 🤣
OMG! 🤣🤣🤣
You killed me! "...Lover" and "Bitch... no Mitch!" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
That was great reaction! Keep it coming! 💕
2 requests a little off the beaten path. Come Along and Over the River.
Thanks! You made my day. 😊
Fun reaction. Would love to see you react to SUPERFRUIT(Scott and Mitch's channel) doing Defying Gravity in original key. It's insane!
If you want to listen to Kevin and a looper, czcams.com/video/IGjg193h4Ok/video.html Oh, by the way, he beatboxes, plays keyboards and cello, and sings Also, he's pretty good at arranging..
He's also a saxophonist.
The perfect way to start my day! You had me grinning and chair-dancing right along with you. This whole medley is pure nostalgia of the best kind. Gonna second the other recommendations to check out Kevin's solo cover of Down. I think it'd blow your mind. And if you like character voices, you've definitely gotta check out VoicePlay at some point. They're the "theater kids" of the acappella world.
one of my favs !!!
Love love love your reactions to Pentatonix.!!!!!!
You'll not be surprised that you're the only one to end it by saying "no, that can't be the end... I want more" lol
Great reaction, keep on grooving
Officially, Kirstin is a mezzo soprano (and I've no idea who makes these determinations). In the real world, however, her range extends from alto all the way up to Mitch's highest notes, perhaps a bit higher.
In the early days, the times when we refer to them as "Babytonix," Kirstie seemed to think that Pentatonix was "The Mitch Grassi Band," or something similar - for her it was all about introducing the world to the wonder that is Mitch Grassi's voice. She recognized the talent of the other members of Pentatonix as well, but Mitch was the *point* of Pentatonix. This seems to have worried the men in the group; Kirstie hadn't yet recognized her own considerable talent, so she tended to defer to the other members at times when she should have been contributing, and standing up for, her own ideas.
It appears that two things happened to give Kirstie the confidence she needed and that the group needed her to have. The first was in 2013 when their friend (at the time - there appears to have been a falling out since) Todrick Hall persuaded her to star in a video he had planned named _The Wizard of Ahhhs._ The most important word in that sentence is "star." _The Wizard of Ahhhs_ is a take-off on the 1939 movie starring Judy Garland, _The Wizard of Oz,_ and Kirstie was to play *every* female character - Dorothy, Glinda the Good Witch, and the Wicked Witch of the West.
Kirstie had to step out of her comfort zone to do that, but somehow Todrick persuaded her, probably by his own passion for everything to do with _The Wizard of Oz._ The rest of Pentatonix appeared in it with her - all four of the men played farm hands in the scene set in Kansas; Scott played the Scarecrow; Mitch played the Tinman; Avi played the Cowardly Lion; and because they were running out of characters but needed him to be in every scene Kevin played Toto in the scenes set in Oz (in Kansas Toto was played by Todrick's little dog). Additionally, Scott, Avi, and Mitch played the Lollipop Guild, and Scott and Kevin played two guards behind the Wicked Witch of the West. But Kirstie was undeniably the star, and she absolutely aced it. She was just two months past her 21st birthday when Todrick posted the video to his CZcams channel.
The second thing that brought home to Kirstie just how talented she is was when she auditioned for and won a role in the Broadway musical _Kinky Boots,_ and began enjoying the respect she was getting from people *outside* of Pentatonix whom she respected herself. From that point on we see a change in Kirstie; she becomes more sure of herself, attempts more risky vocals, grows more fully into the self-assured and incredibly competent singer we see today.
If you want to react to _The Wizard of Ahhhs_ I highly recommend it, but there are a few things you should be aware of in advance.
1. If you've never seen _The Wizard of Oz,_ do so first. _The Wizard of Ahhhs_ won't make sense without it. And if you find _The Wizard of Oz_ to be offensive (it does play into some stereotypes), don't watch _The Wizard of Ahhhs._
2. _The Wizard of Ahhhs_ is just short of 7 minutes long; leave enough time when you're planning.
3. _The Wizard of Ahhhs_ *isn't* owned by Sony (PTX's record label); it's owned by Todrick Hall. And unlike Sony, Todrick seems to be more interested in publicity than in stomping on reactors for "copyright violations."
*Live for the Mitch slaps, & you never disappoint*
Loving your Pentatonix journey bro! Keep it up… if your amazed with Kevin in a group you should check out his KOver covers… his talent is unmatched
I was a teenager during the 90s so I remember them all, even the NOW cd's. Kirstin has just grown more confident over time and is more comfortable in taking her spot in the group and song. In a way PTX's versions are better than the originals. I just wish they'd release full lenght versions of some of these songs.
Your announcer voice was on point and heck a lot of fun...huge smiles
Mitch slapped yet again!!! Hahahahah...great reaction. Love those dance moves.
SCOTT AND MITCH HAD A SIDE GROUP CALLED SUPERFRUIT YOU SHOULD CHECK OUT GUY.EYE...THEY SOUNDED SO GOOD TOGETHER
Great way to start a Monday ❤️🙌🙌
At 5:15 "When you listen it's gonna be like inverted. Instead of being like this it's gonna be like this......I think." Whaaaaaaaat? I LOVE IT!!!
At 6:43 you say "I gotta just stop a minute just because" (and look at Kirstie with my mouth open for a few minutes while my brain is flooded with endorphins). All the virulent males of the world appreciate this pause. Thanx!!
Love to see you enjoying yourself singing along with PTX great medley ❤️❤️❤️
You are a freaking JOY to watch and listen to…THANKS for brightening my day❤!!!
This reaction made me so happy. I've finally subscribed. I still say you repeat yourself a bit much, but I'll get used to it since I do intend to watch a lot more of you. I love how disappointed you were at the end. I could tell you really meant it when you said "Oh I want more'
Rod B thank you so much for subscribing! Yes, I do indeed repeat myself a lot. It's a bad habit 🙃
I love watching you really enjoying their music!! I do hope you will listen to this again a few more times, as you just couldn't help yourself from singing over top of a lot of it! HaHa!! For the most part, pentaholics don't like it when reactors sing along,as we are here to see the reactions to what y'all are hearing for the 1st time, & when you're singing you can miss things. But it is fun seeing you getting so much joy from it, so you get a free pass from me on this one!!! Glad you enjoyed the trip down memory lane! 😄
Your reaction was so fun to watch! I was dancing with you lol 😆 These songs bring back so many good memories!
Love your reactions to Pentatonics but have you considered Home Free??? They are accapella, too but have just a little different flavor. Tim Foust can definitely blow a speaker. They have a country humor but even dip their toes in Opera. I really appreciate both groups.
Love your reactions. I check for them every day. Makes me smile. Thank you so much.
If I'm not mistaken this was filmed during lockdown, from their own homes. Not exactly easy to do, but also not unusual for Pentatonix. For another one filmed during lockdown, see their Home Medley. I'm not sure whether they meant it to be a public service announcement, but in some ways it comes across as one, while still being a great medley.
I think I read that they came into the studio on different days.
@@kathrynphelps9771 Could be. They typically record their tracks separately in the studio, after getting together to create the arrangement. I heard that they have some kind of earpiece that provides them with a steady beat so all their tracks match up. But it's obvious from their "Home" medley that each one of them has the equipment necessary to record from their homes, so an excess of caution could have led them to record from home rather than coming to the studio and possibly being exposed to the virus from the previous person.
If you run across the place where you saw this I'd be interested in a link. (I know - there's so much out there that it can be hard to find things again after seeing them once.)
Hi Tyler! Discovered your channel in the past week or so, while trolling for PTX reactors, lol. Your infectious joy and intelligent observation are refreshing. I am genuinely loving joining you on your Pentatonix discovery journey! I highly, HIGHLY recommend their cover of John Lennon “Imagine”. Showcases all of their amazing talents. (This was an older one pre-Matt) but most definitely worth a watch! Keep up the entertaining reactions! You’ve gained a fan, and a sub!
Fun reaction! Thank you for sharing your time with us. ☮️
Had to subscribe, your enthusiasm has made my day 👏👏👏. I married my husband the start of the 90s had my son in the 90s. I really enjoyed all these memories
Love your reactions and your little sidestorys. Hugs from Sweden 💛
Tyler, you are such a goober. I like that in a person! Never stop being bold enough to let your goober shine! Your “official announcer voice” seemed to have a bit of a Dracula accent to it at the end lol. Keep up the great reactions and keep loving life. ☮️ Steve in Kansas
I love this mix of songs, although on first hearing, I didn't recognize a single song! Now if the songs had been 30 or 40 years older, I'd have probably been singing along, too. Regardless of the generation gap, one of my favorite things is watching reactors of a certain age react to these songs and the memories they engender. So much fun!
Kirstie was in Kinky Boots on Broadway, and I think that experience gave an added layer of complexity to her voice and a more confident assurance in her presentation. Watch Seasons of Love for a real treat. czcams.com/video/qO01TIVX3SM/video.html
Almost to a person...every reactor at the end of the video they say "I want more!" LOL
If you are interested in more acapella music there are a few groups you can check out:
Home Free - alot of country and christian music
Voiceplay - the theatre kids
Voctave - probably the largest group and a bit more traditional
Peter Hollens - one man band
The Bass Gang - new kids, tons of bass (each member has their own channels as well)
There are others as well, but these are the bigger groups/personal favorites.
love ur reactions tylr! ur disney medley reaction put me under the bus! lol - so i knew u would love this - love ya - love to ur and urs
Great reaction. Thank you.
I love the fact that you really get into the reactions and enjoy singing with them. What you may not have thought about is when you are singing you are still hearing Pentatonix in your headphones but we are hearing you and not Pentatonix in ours.
Addison McDorman sorry! I can get carried away sometimes! 🙃
To be fair we should be here to listen to TYLR’s reactions. The original videos still exist if we want to listen to the original music uninterrupted.
That was fun! Keep going my brother, look into You Can’t Hold Us cover. They look like babies, but they sure throw down some bars.
I just knew you would love this one!
Remember Scott was born in Sept 1991 and Mitch the summer of 1992. They were babies when most of these songs dominated the music industry. Scott went to USC and met Ben Brum who convinced Scott to try out for the "Sing-Off". He had to grab his 2 besties and Mitch even missed his high school Graduation Ceremony. He graduated while performing on TV.
You don't usually see the videos when originally released so you may spot growth that you just didn't notice before. Kirstin's Broadway show helped her grow as well.
I'm the same age as the trio and this was basically my soundtrack to growing up. I didn't club to it, but I for sure had some intense dance parties with my sister, haha.
This is a link to their performance of the '90s dance Medley at Hollywood Bowl. I think it would be cool if you reacted to it since it's live and compare it to the studio version. Pentatonix never does the song that they cannot reproduce live what you hear on Studio work. And this video really highlights that. Also Kirsty had a baby 4 to 6 months ago and she looks awesome therefore I don't like her. That's sarcasm I love her I'm just jealous. A DJ reactor fell in love with their transitions. And most people's comment is the same as yours oh no it can't be over. If they were to make an album out of all of these songs they couldn't keep it on the Shelf long enough. Another great reaction for Kevin and Matt I would react to new rules x Are You That Somebody and also butter x dynamite.
czcams.com/video/dayLYxvjKGs/video.html
P.S. I couldn't quite figure out if you knew what the word was from when music moves from one side to the other side. That's called panning. They did it in Bohemian Rhapsody which I'm pretty sure you reacted to if not you need to. They did it in Bohemian Rhapsody because it's done in the original.
I LOVE your reactions!!!
Two song suggestions, based on things you’ve said in past videos…solo songs by members of the group! Yes, Kevin can put a whole song together by himself, check out his cover of “Down” to see him get all loop happy: czcams.com/video/IGjg193h4Ok/video.html
Also, Scott and Mitch (as SUPERFRUIT) have a full album out and many videos. My personal favorite is “Guy.EXE”: czcams.com/video/r2Kh_XMIDPU/video.html
I ❤ your Energy
Oh no I want more- lol. We all did say the same thing on the end😅
Loved the reaction… but…. GO BLUE 〽️ haha
You know…you really need to show some more personality. 😂😂😂😂🤭kidding. I love when you chit chat. I honestly didn’t know any of these songs, except BELIEVE by CHER. I was listening to country during the 90’s and dancing at THE BORDERLINE in THOUSAND OAKS. If that sounds familiar, there was a mass shooting there in 2018, 1/2 hr before my birthday. I also sang in a country band for a year and I now really don’t like country anymore. Sorry for the downer comment. Left one on THE PRAYER also. It’s been quite A WEEK. So THANK YOU!! You definitely brightened my day.
Kirstie was very poor growing up so unlike Scott, Mitch, Matt, and Avi, she couldn't afford proper vocal lessons outside of what was given during choir. Both Kirstie and Kevin had a lot of vocal lessons once the band formed, and now both of them sing a lot more. She also had confidence issues, partly due to the way both Avi and her fiance treated her, and once Avi left the group, her and her fiance split up, and she spent time on broadway, her confidence soared. Now she is often up there with Scott and Mitch, which is evident in their newer music (pretty much anything 2018-now, anything with Matt as the bass). Some of the best songs with her are 'My favourite things', 'Attention', 'Love me when I don't' (which she wrote and the video has live vocals), 'Seasons of love' (this video also has live vocals), and their christmas album promo 'joy to the world' (the short version not the full song). Older songs including 'Rather Be' and 'Say something' are also very good but are before her improvement.
Can u please do Pentatonix Popspring Performance 2016. You'll get to hear 3 original songs and The Evolution of Michael Jackson live. Its so good.
You need to watch their performances on the Sing Off.
If you want to see some great looping in action, you should check out Peter Bence, he does incredible work. Also Jonathan Young does banger covers of both "Everytime We Touch" and "Blue" and it's hilarious to me whenever I listen to him do the Cascada song I expect him to switch it up to "Blue" after the first verse!
Cascada's "Everytime we touch" is actually not from the 90's but from 2005. It's a cover of Maggie Reilly's original which was released in 1992. So the original song is more "90's", I guess... 😄
Yes, they did use auto-tune when they sang Cher's Do You Believe as they wanted to pay tribute to her and Cher being the first one to use this method of recording and in her video, it was a nice gesture. I had to laugh at the end though as you are the same as everyone in saying 'oh, no, is that it? I want more'. Great reaction.
BTW, here's the link for the side-by-side artists who recorded the songs you just listened to and you can compare as the one side of your headphones is PTX and the other is the original artist. See how they fare out. czcams.com/video/y6WOzZixJpc/video.html
This song is so fun. My school stuff. BTW I believe by Cher...they decided to keep it close to the original so they used the auto-tune . The rest is thier talent
I was clubbing to those LOL
You should check out their cover of Aha... and Any solo music Mitch has released
They're awsome.😎
BTW: i still use casettes✌🏻
You're so handsome and have an adorable personality.

I might prefer Avi but Mark (the new bass guy)has a surprisingly beautiful voice 😅
Great review. BTW Pentatonix not only cover songs they upgrade them.
Are you a fellow Buckeye???? Thank you for pointing out Matt's down drop. Not many reactors do.
