    Best bodybuilding channel on youtube. As I get older (now 44) I train less but maintain strength. One thing I have noticed which I want to share is if I lift weights fast, i.e. power (speed and strength) I make greater gains and have greater flexibility.

      @ifiwas195 Před 3 lety

      Capital hub Trading hey, I thought I would message as no one else has. You can’t target belly fat. It’s a very big misconception. You can target body fat as a hole but it’s impossible to target belly or abdominal fat on its own. You simply need to be in a caloric deficit until you drop the weight. It’s not easy as the body normally sheds weight from the top down, and the bottom up so midsection fat is the last and hardest to go.

    Hey John I'm sure you're a busy man but I have a couple questions for you. I for some reason usually do negatives at the end of an exercise. Do you recommend doing them at the beginning as a sort of pre exhaustion technique? And I took some good advice and lowered the weight I was doing on bicep isolations to get better mind/muscle but I've been hovering around the same weight for awhile and I'm concerned about hitting a plateau growth wise if I don't follow a more aggressive linear progression. What do you think?

    • @mountaindog1
      @mountaindog1  Před 6 lety +2

      for arms, the best thing I ever did was forget about the weight and worry more about feel. they get plenty of heavy work with torso work anyway...you can do negative anytime really...youll just need some help to get you back in position if doing them last
