no offense but, what purpouse does recycling old videos serve? imo they should let his legacy live on its own and stop uploading past content if its already in his channel
i dont wanna say its the case but it kinda looks like theyre milking the situation to get free views on already published videos and make a quick buck, idk this just seems weird to me, let the man rest his legacy has already been made.

@@NiquelBones your statement...in 10 years do you know how many fitness youtubers will emerge? Youre basically saying forget about him cause over time if they arent re released or shared enough it will be burried under new youtubers who took info from him...thats not honoring his legacy. The purpose of old videos n recycling is simply it keeps his legacy alive. Keeps him relevant for years to come, decades even. We miss the guy on top of that. Im sure they have enough money and arent doing this for those purposes. I personally dont think the channel should die just because MountainDog moved on.

For rear delts you helped me so much, and now there is a gal in the gym that’s doing the rear delt incline bench moves and she loves them too. The heavy side partials are amazing too and I really feel them. Thanks again and may your wisdom continue to help others forever. Tomorrows pull workout meadows rows are for you John. Thank you!!

Very interesting points! My first time creating time stamps so I can refer back:)
1:24 - cables to get extra stretch on rear, side & front delts under some load
4:55 - utilizing “partials”or shorter range of motion with slightly heavier weight with HIGH reps
8:34 - how to OH press w/dumbbells for more natural ROM without sacrificing shoulder health & don’t go down ALL the way, causing shoulders to round forward (bad for shoulders)
12:20 - changing where weight is loaded and also using light weight partials at top end of ROM
15:19 - targeting side delts shoulder position
17:47 - mobility banded over/unders and spider crawls for shoulder stability
21:07 - hand position changes for bent over rear or side delt focus, relaxing traps/rhomboids and let things move and focus only on rear delts and don’t use shrug motion ( lighten weight!), use mind/muscle connection

John's advice here, is absolutely priceless. It's easy for lifters and fitness folks to identify exercises for each body part and just crack on. But John's tips on technique can be a 'life saver' in terms of reducing the risk of shoulder injury. Shoulder injuries are notoriously difficult to get over.
Also, equally valuable is John's observation about not overdoing press work for shoulders, due to the hammering those joints take through chest work.
I only discovered John's work a couple of months ago, and I quickly became a big fan. It's very sad that he had already passed then, taken far too early.
    RIP John.

I think this video is a repost, but the first time I watched the bit about partials with momentum in the stretched section for the rear delts, I thought it was pretty silly advice. Fast forward to this year when I finally started implementing those and holy crap, John was right as always. What makes those so nasty is the momentum. Normally, you want to avoid momentum, but using it in this specific exercise forces the rear delts to activate in order for the DBs not to hit each other. That's what makse the exercise absolute fire. Thank you again, John! RIP.

I 100% agree with you on the behind overhead press. Always hurt my shoulder joints. Another Greta vid with great advise.

In my experience, as far as what works best for me, when it comes to shoulders machines are way better than free weights. The pumps are so much better.

I always had trouble feeling my shoulders and not using my traps and neck for lateral raises. Changed to machine presses and cable raises and it was a game changer for me. I do feel the heavy partial lateral raises though, great for starting shoulder work. Also add a couple of chest supported dumbbell lateral raises here and there. I definitely feel them more now after incorporating cables and machines

@@MehdiGlz I agree with all of that. Especially the heavy partial lateral raises. I’m not a fan of most machines, but when it comes to shoulders and back machines are just so much better for me.

One reason why I don't comment lately is that I am scared that there will be no likes or his reply from John . The thought really shakes me from inside . God bless your family . I love all you video and you have been my greatest inspiration ❤

John, I love ya, but if anyone out there has tried hanging drywall the day after a hard shoulder workout, you know, they DO get sore!
