A big problem in America is that everywhere has air conditioning. No body sweats anymore but sweating is your body’s natural way of removing toxins. The slight uncomfortable feeling of heat and everyone blasts A/C. But what’s annoying is that modern housing is built to require AC - old homes pre-AC were built to allow air flow, high ceilings to let heat rises, and general ways to make things comfortable. You don’t have to go on extreme diet if your body is always working in the summer to cool itself down and you don’t overeat. It’s not the only way by any means but America uses more electric for just A/C than Africa uses electric for the ENTIRE continent. The modern worlds sedentary, 24/7 comfortable, everything in an instant lifestyle is a huge problem for our health.

One of the main reasons for opting for such extreme diets is because of our social medias which manipulates us into thinking everyone to look like Barbie if we can put in some extra efforts . I m a woman who's being body shamed even by her own family. I did extreme dieting during my early college days, did lose kilos but ended up fainting on my way to sit for semester..That day I realised I was punishing my body only to be accepted by my peers. I have now learnt to stand up for myself and have become quite vocal to anyone family or "wellwisher" trying to advise me on my body. So people in my opinion should choose health not only for body but for your Mind too..thank you palki ma'am for spreading awareness 🙏🏼💜

My wife and I have been doing OMAD (one meal a day) for 5 years, in addition we fast(we drink water, tea, coffee and a non caloric electrolyte mix) Monday and Friday and will do an annual 5 day fast and 72 hr fasts intermittently. My fasted weight workouts are some of my best ie heavy weights for approximately 1.5 hr workouts. During the spring to summer I switch to more outdoor workouts including hiking and biking several times a week so we will do less fasting and more carbs (fast once a week) Results: low inflammation (in fact I smashed my knee mountain biking, and fasted for 72 hrs and it reduced the severe swelling), Lowers blood pressure (we are at low to normal on a consistent basis), look younger (everyone always says when we fast we look younger), maintain to losing weight continually and perfect physicals at age 56 and we do not smoke, drink or do drugs.
Note: we’ve done what works for us and are not doctors.

I've been doing the exact same things since copping auto immune disease from flu jabs at 14 and had to live with chronic symptoms caused by them (ME/CFS aka Fibromyalgia) ... I've had to follow a strict healthy low carb diet for all my life to be able to function normally along with regular fasting ... Now at 63 I look fit and healthy and younger than my age with no other health problems except for the ME/CFS ... I've found that OMAD 6/18 intermittent fasting works best for me ... And will stick to it for life ... I have virtually zero symptoms and feel perfectly normal as long as I stick to it ... I laugh at idiots who think it's somehow 'unhealthy' ... No doctor I've ever seen thinks that after they see me ... My blood tests and heart checks are all perfect ... Heart rate 56 bpm ...
