  • Decibel Meter to see how loud a drill run with a 22 inch rotor in my 1950s Federal Signal STH-10A really is. next test, will be with a RPM counter
bearing are new, still has to get broken in so thats why for the short wind down, i may remove the grease and replace it with oil
this thing threw quite a breeze when it was at high RPMs
Disclaimer: NOT FOR KIDS- doing this action is done at my own risk. Dealing with Genuine Locomotive Horns Such as Nathan Airchime and Leslie Controls produce extreme loudness and these horns do NOT comply with Local Laws and authority and this is A MISDEMEANOR. operating such devices WILL cause permanent hearing damage loss. Operate such horns and Air Raid Sirens at your own risk.

it does that because youtube only counts a view as you watching the ENTIRE video. That means they liked the video before it was finished. also really cool. i want to get one to get back at my neighbors because they throw partys with music blasting so loud i can hear it in my basement until nearly midnight once a month. i would love to go next to their house when their doing a party and blast that thing to be honest

Unrelated to this video(which was great btw) how do you make the Grover 1510 sound deeper. Like the FDNY trucks

you would need to extend the trumpet, longer the trumpet, lower the frequency it will play

Awesome!! Do you have an air hose? I've seen some people to air run up with air hoses.

i do have air hoses but that is awfully the worst way to spin it up (unless its a drill) the amount of storage and compressor would have to be quite powerful.
electric drill is good and quickly brings it up
