Add a second LED to the other switch contact (one LED on normally closed and another one on normally open and also make sure you don't mess up the polarisation 😉)
The capacitor discharges through the lamp, so the on time will be shorter with a higher current, a larger capacitor will store more energy before the relay switches, So, no you don't need a larger capacitor for the circuit to work but if you want the lamp to flash slower, that would be one way to do that
@@doormattde - Hey thankx for the reply! Yea, that is what I thought when I saw the Capacitor. Basically you are saying to " match " the Output with the Capacitor right? For example: I want to use a 3Watt 12V LED. I would just find a Capacitor that would support the LED, right? THANKX in advanced!
Pretty much yeah, The way this circuit operates is by charging the capacitor until the voltage is high enough to flip the relay, then the capacitor discharges through the relay, the LED is on when the capacitor is charging because it is connected in parallel to it, when it's discharging the voltage of the capacitor quickly drops below the minimum voltage of the LED and it turns off The larger the capacity the slower the circuit should be, also as long as the lamp doesn't draw a ton of current when it is off (light bulbs do that), it doesn't really discharge the capacitor that much, the relay actually discharges it, i was wrong about that
You can adjust the frequency of the blink by changing the capacitor. The lower the Farad, the faster it will blink. The higher the Farad, the slower it will blink.
I actually looked for something like that to put into my Traxxas E-Revo VXL 1:16 brushless edition, but I think a 555 timer IC is still a better solution because it doesn't have any moving parts , btw *cool idea*
Thank you for this circuit, it worked out great
great! Now I can spark my spark plug continuously! Great informative vid!
@Peter Pete - If you apply this method to Spark Plug.... I think the relay would get damaged really quick!

Qual a porcentagem de tensão máxima permetica, sem queimar a bobunq, de um relé 5 VDC?
Could I connect 230v bulb instead of LED

Can I use ups board relay
seria bueno; que con tus conocimientos diseñes uno para 12 volts, y hacer una alarma de retroceso, para el carro.😊
Ok felicitar
I love the idea, but could you write or show the diagram somehow?

Hello Bhai 500 led eksath blinking kar Santa h
will a 12 volt relay work for this project?
Yep
But needs a 12 light
Si en vez de un relé de 5vcd le pones uno de 12 volts? Que condensador y que resistencia pondrías,?? Gracias, saludos desde argentina
A 2200uF cap still should work. Use a 1k resistor for the LED instead.
You can change the LED blinking speed by changing the value of the capacitor.
Hi good job / i need to make a police or emergency led lights flashing or blinking without a ne555 i mean simple way ! pls help

How to flash for 5 seconds and off for 5 seconds, and repeat the same cycle??

Yes, but the value of the resistor must be higher (maybe 1k or 2k). And the capacitor must be rated for the voltage.
What if I need less flicker time ?
You can adjust the frequency of the blink by changing the capacitor. The lower the Farad, the faster it will blink. The higher the Farad, the slower it will blink.

Higher the capacitance of the capacitor or the resistance of the resistor

Not that useful, Duck.
it can be circuit of turn signal (in a car) or an oscillator
But it's not that easy to terminate the frequency.
