  • How to make a light bulb flasher (or LED flasher) without any transistors. Really simple circuit.
To make this device you will need:
    1. 12V relay
    2. 2200uF capacitor
    3. 100 Ohms resistor.
    4. 12V power source (battery or a DC Power supply).
In addition, you may also need 10 Ohms resistor and 470uF - 1000uF capacitor if it doesn’t work without it.

This circuit is absolutely perfect as a step in TEACHING electronics. After giving kids a solid understanding of Ohm's Law, then capacitors and the r-c time constant, this is the PERFECT circuit to put all that knowledge together. Step back, point to the flashing light, and you can say to the kids "Now think about it...you totally understand what's going on here. When we started learning, you would have had absolutely no idea."

easy to follow instructions as long as you pause it here and there. Finally I was able to understand this analog flasher circuit thank you

Awesome! Just built this circut and it works! (Running on 18v (2 9v batteries)) also, used a resistor for the light

great circuit - how would you scale it down to a 1.5v application?

Tengo el mismo Capacitor, pero le puse una Resistencia de 220 ohms, y no me anda que sera?

I think you don't need the extra cap and resistor. the problem is in power source the first one better use with led. The second one the battery you use both led add higher watt valve
