I must admit that one thing that triggers my anxiety is not feeling in control…I lost my Nan and Dad within a short space of time. Whenever I’m out in nature…looking at the stars at night etc I feel calmer because I’m reminded of how small I am and how big God is…I realise He’s the one who’s really in control 🥰
1) try turning the mirror around to the inside of the door in your office, that way people who stay with you would still have it. 2) you could buy some of those bags that you suck the air out of to store the mattress topper, sheets, pillows, quilt. They definitely save space and make storing easier.
Just wanted you to know that I loved the travel vlogs. I enjoy your other content also. Prayers for you on the loss of your grandmother. Hoping all your stress falls away and you have nothing but happy days ahead. Congrats on your upcoming wedding. I hope it is all you dream it will be.
I LOVED your Paris vlogs so it makes me sad they didn't get the action you deserved! I think it's so special that you guys found your rings there. Such an heirloom!
Hi Michel! I’m just sitting here listen to your chat about anxiety and all of the “maybe it’s this” “maybe it’s that” stuff you were saying made me think that you intuitively already know! I have worked with a few somatic practitioners who have told me that the body knows before the mind does. To me, it sounds like your body is responding to quite a few things-and that you have a good hunch about what those things are! Good for you for (and Jordy for suggesting) taking a mindful moment and slowing down. There’s so much science that shows the positive impact being in nature has on our wellness.
I'm interested in the travel content for sure and I'm a regular video friendie girl! My absolute favorite part was when you were at Mont St Michel in the villa and Jordy "played" the horn. I was dying and rewound it a thousand times. 😂😂😂❤❤❤
Sorry for your loss. It’s most definitely a contributing factor to your anxiety. And for your pullout bed pad and comforter, use vacuum seal bags, they help clear up a lot of space.
! To anyone who didn’t watch the Paris vlogs, Michel does a uniquely great job at bringing the same calm, chatty vibes to her travel videos. Go give them a watch and you’ll see what I mean.
I wish you and Jordy a magical wedding! Always remember to ignore the haters there will always be miserable people who hate everything beautiful in the world so just continue to be you!
If I were you I would open up that panel under the steps going upstairs for storage. I have done this at my sons a few years back and now made it into my granddaughters lovely play place. She loves it ❤
Your body can’t always differentiate between good stress and bad stress. Exercise has been the best way to expend anxiety for me. What we resist persists. So just acknowledging that we are feeling it goes along ways. Congratulations to you and Jordy wishing you a lifetime of blessings and happiness!
Suggestion - it’s the one gift I gave myself, and it was a time capsule. There are a few types to choose from now, but you fill it with everything you do the first year of your marriage( such as movies you go to, ticket stubs of comedy shows, vacation trinkets or special photos and a letter to each other then you seal it and choose how many years in the future you’re going to open it. We did 25th anniversary. It was the best thing I ever did, and now this is the gift I give all new couples and they love it. Best wishes💜
I really relate to when you said that all hard feelings for you feel like stress!! for me, its anxiety. everything just feel like anxiety. what's been helping me is taking time to discern what it actually is that im feeling and processing and separating it out from the anxiety.
Now that you have the tree in the corner of the office and it takes up quite a bit of vertical space I think you can center something above the couch and it won’t look off.
Michel I love your vlogs and I’m a regular viewer and I watched all the travel blogs xx ps I don’t mind the sponsorships either you make that money girl xx love the hair btw beautiful and sending hugs xx
As a constant viewer, I love the travel vlogs wherever you go! Hearing your narration and thoughts of the location helps me imagine myself there. I’d love for you to continue, if you would!
Regarding the comment you made about your “usual watchers” not being as interested in your travel vlogs: I’m one of the regulars🥰 for me, Michel travel vlogs are a special type of situation- there’s a certain mood I will get where I go back to watch your travel vlogs, and love them so much, but it just has to be one of those special moment 🤷🏽♀️ Just giving you an insight into my thoughts, but overall, love you and allllll your content 🥰 blessings for all that you have coming up this week 🥰
I was obsessed with the travel vlogs! I'm shocked the usual audience wasn't. But I've also been yearning to go to Paris. PS those wedding bands are everything! I'm obsessed
Loved the Paris vlogs!! and the small town Vlogs. I´m not from the US and I usually don't prioritize small tow travel in my very limited 2 week vacation period and its so fun to see it through your eyes. Keep them up.
Yes to the AT&T credit card question. Definitely a real thing, but they typically have expiration dates, so move that money over to your account before you forget about it.
Wishing you and Jordy a magical wedding day and so much love and happiness!! I have been a follower for 5+ years and though I don’t know you truly, you seem so so happy. Your content is always so thoughtful and inspiring ❤️ thank you for sharing your life with us!
I kept the foam topper on my couch. I would buy small trunk to keep in front of the couch to store pillows, blankets etc.in. Your house is so pretty. I loved the last video of house tour.
I enjoyed the Italy portion of your trip I watched a little of the Paris vlogs. A couple of other people I watch also went to Paris just before that so I kind of got Parised out. I do enjoy your travel videos.
You could try using vacuum bags for the extra bedding and mattress pad. They work great and create more space availability. They also come in large to small sizes.
I forgot tell you I’m a regular viewer I loved your Paris video I enjoy your traveling ones might never get see them for myself so I enjoy watching you enjoy them 😊
I lost my mom a few weeks ago, it's part of grief to be anxious in many people. I'm your age, she was my last family member. I lost everyone else. Grief is hard to go through, let yourself experience the emotion, meditation is good for me, breathing exercice. The sea is helpful because you can see far away and it calms your nervous sistem.
I have to say Michel, you are quite the businesswoman. I don’t think there is one other CZcamsr I watch who has a sponsorship for every single video. Most of them have a sponsor every 3 to 4 videos, but not every one. You go girl! I can’t believe it is so close to your wedding! Wow!
I'm not sure if anyone ever answered, but yes on the credit card rebate card thing. That's how it's done now. I get one for the rebate from buying contact lenses. Personally I find them awkward to use, so I buy an Amazon gift card for the full amount, then apply it to my Amazon acct since .. there's always something I need there. :)
For the large mattress protector in your office, why don’t you just keep it on your hide a bed? That ways it’s all folded within. No need to store it then, and it’s all ready if you get a visitor 😀
You could always try to put the mattress topper on the bed and then fold it up into the sofa? It might be too bulky but we've done that with ours in the past!
LOVE these types of videos and I’m only halfway through. ❤ 1. AT&T card - go with your gut and don’t do it. I recently was scammed by a cell provider in Canada. 2. That first closet, depending on how often that topper for the pull out bed gets used - ex. every weekend, twice/month - a large container to fit all the things in there and placing a board just above it; under the shelf is for the bed and everything above is camera and office stuff ?? Just a thought.
I have the chest anxiety sensation right now too! I’m the middle of a life transition (moving states, spent a month with my parents inbetween, moving on to next home state things weekend) and even though it’s all positive I’m feeling it! Lots of other slightly stressful things contributing too but yeah. So totally relate! Big hug :)
For your pantry- baskets for the top cabinets so you don’t have to climb up there. Decant the things in the lower cabinets into bins so it’s all fits nice and neat and stays fresh.
As a usual viewer I have seen the Paris vlogs 🙋🏻♀️ and honestly all of your videos since I subscribed to you and a lot of all videos so... I mean maybe most of them but I love travel vlogs 🥰 and all kinds of content of you! 💖 So a loyal subscriber over here ☺️ sending love to Jordy from the surgery!
It’s normal to be having anxiety when you have so much going on. I hate it for you because I personally know how it feels to be overwhelmed by anxiety. It won’t last forever. I’m honestly not surprised you are feeling the way you do. Life throws punches. Just at your happiest moment, the curve ball of anxiety and stress pops you in the face. It won’t last. Just figured I’d share in case you’d like to try it. Sending hugs x
Here's an idea for the mattress topper!: roll it up and secure with bungee cords, old belts, or something that can tie and either stand it up in the corner of the guest bedroom closet or on its side on the shelf in the guest bed closet. You can also store guest linens, guest towels, guest toiletries, etc. in that closet so (1) you have full use of your office closet space and (2) y'all have a 'guest zone' where everything a guest could need is all in one spot and not in different parts of the house. On another note, "The Body Keeps the Score" by Bessel van der Kolk may help you in processing and working through your anxiety. While your brain may not be actively thinking about stress, anxiety, grief, etc. (both old and new), your body remembers and, whenever something triggers a certain emotion, you feel it but may not necessarily be cognitively aware of it. Hope this helps, and I wish you and Jordy a happy wedding and a rejuvenating honeymoon!
Hey Michel - I know the feeling of your chest feeling heavy/crushed but it not being stress or stemming from thoughts. For me, it's dread. When something is coming that I don't want to deal with but I have to. I'm not talking about laundry day 😂 but the big stuff in life. Hopefully that's all it is with the funeral coming up and now that it's over, I hope you're feeling better. Best wishes for a fabulous wedding and honeymoon ❤
Michel, I just wanted to say I hope you have an amazing wedding week and a wonderful two weeks off! Sending you and Jordy all the love! Congrats again!!! ❤️❤️❤️
I'm so sorry about your Mimi. I'm a Mimi too. Grief isn't linear. It could be your anxiety will improve once the funeral is behind you. Sending my deeply condolences to you and your family.🙏
Yesss to the debit card refund! We just recently got one from our power company, I called to check it’s legitness first thing because I was skeptical too 🤣
Store extra bedding in one of those vacuum storage bags to reduce volume and keep clean.
The algorithms lie!! Love the travel content!! Loved the sunnies while organising your closet. All the best for the big day🥂
I wasn‘t interested in them :D i just enjoy the everyday life vlogs :) maybe there is more people like that?
Michel, I am sorry to hear about the loss of your grandmother. May her memory be a blessing to you and your family. My condolences.
Ah... I'm a "usual viewer" and I loved the Paris trip!

I watched the Paris vlogs, and I'm a regular viewer, maybe not a typical one, but I loved them!
me too! I was a big fan of the Paris vlogs!
Me three! Please don't stop making travel content!!
I LOVED your Paris vlogs so it makes me sad they didn't get the action you deserved! I think it's so special that you guys found your rings there. Such an heirloom!

So sorry for your loss. My condolences for you and your family. God bless🙏🥰
Thank you friend🤍🤍🤍
I loved the Paris vlogs! It was fun to travel vicariously through you😁
Vacuum storage bags are AMAZING for storing extra bedding.
Try a laundry hamper for the mattress foam. Roll and put in the hamper!😊
Vacuum bag for the mattress protector will make it compact and much easier to store.
Sorry for your loss. It’s most definitely a contributing factor to your anxiety. And for your pullout bed pad and comforter, use vacuum seal bags, they help clear up a lot of space.
Declutterring is such a feeling of accomplishment. Great job 👏
Re: bath towels. Have you thought about rolling them and then tucking them away?
Good job getting so many things tidy!
I roll all my towels and love the look
If you put the mirror on the inside of your office closet door, you could use it when you open the door 😊
! To anyone who didn’t watch the Paris vlogs, Michel does a uniquely great job at bringing the same calm, chatty vibes to her travel videos. Go give them a watch and you’ll see what I mean.
I admire you so much! I hope you have a wonderful wedding and honeymoon. Enjoy your break from work. You deserve your time off. You work so hard!
I wish you and Jordy a magical wedding! Always remember to ignore the haters there will always be miserable people who hate everything beautiful in the world so just continue to be you!
Thank you Denise!!🤍🤍 I’m pretty excited for wedding week!!!🥰🤍
❤❤❤❤
So true! Ignore the hate❤
❤❤❤❤love this comment! So true !!
I pray your wedding is everything you want it to be! Congratulations Jordy and Michel!🎉❤😊
For all your cords use clear hair ties it organizes a drawer or cupboard so much nicer. I hate messy cords
Sorry about your grandma. Stress is normal, you have so much going on. Love the travel vlogs !

I loved your Paris vlogs , I’m a regular viewer. Can’t wait to see some pics from your wedding, I’m sure it’s going to be beautiful 😄❤️
💙💙💙Its so natural for you to meditate and its obvious that it helps to reduce your stress levels, and you do it without even knowing you do💙💙💙 Love Ya
The tapestry over the mirror is a NO!

I'm watching this as I'm unpacking and organizing my new apt! Twinsies!
I've been following along for a while and I loved your Paris vlogs! Using the Sezane box for your wedding items is such a cute idea
Im a regular viewer and I LOVED the Paris vlogs!!! Absolutely LOVED them!!! ❤
Chloe Wen uses clear storage bags for her bedding. She could tell you where she gets them, but would be good for your foam padding.
21:33 you can ask if they have 1/2 caf, or full decaf! I'm pregnant and that's what I've been doing for coffee ☕🩷
Michel I love your vlogs and I’m a regular viewer and I watched all the travel blogs xx ps I don’t mind the sponsorships either you make that money girl xx love the hair btw beautiful and sending hugs xx
Well said! 😊 👏
I agree… this is your JOB, you get that sponsorship and get paid girl!!!
Thank you so much Donna!! 🥹🫶🏼🤍
@@MichelJanse always ❤
Happy wedding week! Hope you & Jordy feel SO loved & have the best day! 💗
I loved the Paris vlogs! And I love your normal vlogs. 😊
FYI - I LOVED the Paris/Rome vlogs. So interesting.
As a constant viewer, I love the travel vlogs wherever you go! Hearing your narration and thoughts of the location helps me imagine myself there. I’d love for you to continue, if you would!
I love all your travel blogs, so it’s surprising to hear that the others don’t like to as much. But please continue to post them (:

Have you ever used a space bag? You can put all your linens in it and use a vacuum to suck the air out. It’s a great way to store big bulky stuff.
Before you donate things you should make sure your mom won't need any of the items in her guest house.... just a thought.
Have a wonderful wedding 🎉
That's what I thought, too!
Yes to the AT&T credit card question. Definitely a real thing, but they typically have expiration dates, so move that money over to your account before you forget about it.
I think the AT&T thing is legit. I got 2 cards when I set up my internet through them!
Do not store medications in a hot or damp place like bathroom or near stove. Breakdowns effectiveness of meds sooner. Store dry cool place.
I totally relate to the anxiety. I love that you share your mental health with us. Your collection of beige sweaters is so funny...so many! Haha
All you have to remember is this wedding is for keeps you make a lovely couple 💑 ♥ xxx
I put my mattress topper in a vacuum pack bag. It takes up a significantly smaller amount of space.
Organizing and getting rid of some things is so satisfying and makes you feel lighter 🤩👏🏻🥰
Hope Jordy is feeling much better and that he heals quickly 🙏🤞🍀
I forgot tell you I’m a regular viewer I loved your Paris video I enjoy your traveling ones might never get see them for myself so I enjoy watching you enjoy them 😊

I love hearing Jordy's song at the end, it's the perfect ending
I’m a usual viewer, never miss an upload and I LOVED your Paris Vlogs and your travel content!! ❤
Love this one. So excited for wedding!
SO excited for you and Jordy!! Wishing you the most magical wedding week ❤✨
I put my extra guest bedding in a vacuum bag. It stores easier. I think the topper can be put in a vacuum bag each time too.
Bummed to see those handmade lights go. If I were closer, I’d take them for you. Those are lovely!
I have to say Michel, you are quite the businesswoman. I don’t think there is one other CZcamsr I watch who has a sponsorship for every single video. Most of them have a sponsor every 3 to 4 videos, but not every one. You go girl! I can’t believe it is so close to your wedding! Wow!
There's a quote that I love and I believe it to be true,
"The cure for anything is salt water: sweat, tears, or the sea"
I'm not sure if anyone ever answered, but yes on the credit card rebate card thing. That's how it's done now. I get one for the rebate from buying contact lenses. Personally I find them awkward to use, so I buy an Amazon gift card for the full amount, then apply it to my Amazon acct since .. there's always something I need there. :)
I LOVED the Europe vlogs! (And I've been here since before your first wedding) Hope to see more travel ❤
storage bags that you can vacuum out the air are fantastic for bedding, towels & would prob work for you mattress topper
For the large mattress protector in your office, why don’t you just keep it on your hide a bed? That ways it’s all folded within. No need to store it then, and it’s all ready if you get a visitor 😀
Maybe I’m a part of a smaller minority of your viewers but I love day to day content but also love your travel content immensely!
I have the same kind of set up in my guest room and we have an extra large vacuum seal bag for our mattress pad.
Yes to the AT&T thing. We got the Sam when we moved.
You could always try to put the mattress topper on the bed and then fold it up into the sofa? It might be too bulky but we've done that with ours in the past!
I keep the foam mattress on the sofa bed to store it. It also makes the sofa a bit more comfortable.
Your rings are beautiful.
I like the hanging tapestry on the wall! I don’t think it looks busy
LOVE these types of videos and I’m only halfway through. ❤
I have the chest anxiety sensation right now too! I’m the middle of a life transition (moving states, spent a month with my parents inbetween, moving on to next home state things weekend) and even though it’s all positive I’m feeling it! Lots of other slightly stressful things contributing too but yeah. So totally relate! Big hug :)
For your pantry- baskets for the top cabinets so you don’t have to climb up there. Decant the things in the lower cabinets into bins so it’s all fits nice and neat and stays fresh.

You’ll snap back again, and all will be well. You’ve got a good support system, and are smart in knowing steps to take to ease some of the symptoms. This too shall pass!
Also.. praying for you for your anxiety ❤ I totally know the feeling about the beach, I’m the same way. Similarly for me is the forest/hiking. Nature is such a gift.
Also, I recently went to an event at my church on anxiety. One of the church counselors, who actually went to school for psychology, said something about how 30-45 min of exercise in the morning is basically the equivalent to taking medication for depression/anxiety? Just figured I’d share in case you’d like to try it. Sending hugs x

There have been studies proving that mood and health improves when with bare feet we walk in the earth (grass, sand, dirt).
Michel, I just wanted to say I hope you have an amazing wedding week and a wonderful two weeks off! Sending you and Jordy all the love! Congrats again!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much friend!!🤍🫶🏼
I'm so sorry about your Mimi. I'm a Mimi too.
Grief isn't linear. It could be your anxiety will improve once the funeral is behind you. Sending my deeply condolences to you and your family.🙏
Happy Wedding Weekend! Almost! 🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤
Have most wonderful wedding week 🎉 have a lovely weekend 🥰 take care
You have a lot happening all at once! I'd feel stressed too i think. Hope you have a wonderful wedding ❤
Yesss to the debit card refund! We just recently got one from our power company, I called to check it’s legitness first thing because I was skeptical too 🤣
Im a regular viewer of your channel and I enjoyed your Paris and Italy vlogs. 🙂
