First Ride On The First Newly Modernized Otis Elevator - Golden Nugget Atlantic City

Excuse my… Interesting reaction to this new elevator.
Anyways, this was the first elevator in the bank to be completed. Though I do hate on the mod in the video a little bit, that’s only because I’m upset they’re replacing such awesome elevators. The modernization, (or this elevator anyway) seems to be a very solid one. I like that they’re giving these elevators voices again even if it’s not the Elevonic 401 voice. I can’t tell 100% but it seems like they may have made the cabs a little bit bigger but like I said, I can’t say for sure on that. These are decently quick, faster than the old ones Anyway. The voice is nice, the buttons are nice, just a very well done modernization. Still sad to see the old ones go obviously, but if this is what they’re getting replaced with, I guess I can’t be too mad.

So did they replace the motors too? Its about time....this place needed it bad.

Yeah I’m Pretty sure the motors were replaced because they seem a little faster now if you ask me.
I really hate to agree with you on some of these Mod projects lol, but this place did need it. There wasn’t really anything wrong with the old elevators cosmetically, but they ran pretty darn slow for the amount of floors they served. Glad they’re speeding them up now.
