@@gaycha6589He did clearly. Very clear actually. Lando was gaining 0.8 seconds a lap on Max. Until 1.6 seconds from Max. Normally you should have overtaken Max 4 times with 0.8 win a lap, sorry just my opinion
@@fixxa6455 three things to note here. 1. Imola is notorious for a hard to pass track 2. The dirty air effect once with 1s of car in front 3. The fact that Max has a reputation/style for driving people off/defending, so the P2 is attractive at that point.
Way to best Max would have been to force a mistake or cause him to take too much out of his tyres, but in this case there were not enough laps. We all know catching and passing are two things.

The car was less good in the slower corners this week. Monaco has a lot of slow corners so qualifying is everything there.
It's more the bumpiness that the RB doesn't work well (think Singapore). Monaco is a mixed bag. Still Max making it work while Perez lost to Mercedes is absurd. If Red Bull had two decent drivers instead of a decent and a special one this would have been an extremely competitive season. But, that's what F1 is about, props to Max. There's F2 and F3 for close competition
it dont matter look at last years monaco pole his race win is in Saturday not the actual race all he needs is pole

He just used more of it to keep Lando out of drs for longer. With 2 laps to go it was very low but that was just in time to not have to fear a drs attack. Perfectly timed

Complete BS. If the tyres require pushing in order to reach proper temperature window, why didn’t VER push early to get the windows first.
