Loving the variety of content, have you considered playing any Beam NG on the rig? They've just had a sizable update and seeing you drive around with lots of AI and police on the mixed reality rig would look amazing
Remember it's looking at a 2D screen in front of me so its not like in the real world where if you look up it raises your perspective. Limited with what we can do with DR2 as well as it doesnt have proper triple monitor adjustment and also has a limited scope of adjustment for camera adjustment. This was the best we could do :)
@@boostedmedia yes, sure. I only talk about tilting the action cam mounting slightly to the top, the position and so on is perfect. The lower end of the front window should be a littler underneath of the video centerline. Watch one of my VR SimRacing Videos for comparison 😄
If it tilt the camera up more then you’re looking at the black wall behind the screens. Solution is to mount the camera above my eyes and add more tilt in game (which is what we do for other games), but this game doesn’t allow enough tilt.
Wow idk what it is I've watched alot of rally Sim racer on CZcams but yours was so good due to how real it seemed lol your setup is insane I can't imagine how immersion it is in person this was badass lol kdke hat it was but it just seemed so much better then so many other rally Sim videos lol Alot of people rate dirt 2.0 as the hardest racing game so don't kick yourself to much lol you did pretty good just to finish the races without issues the crashes in practice and in the building isn't a big deal you did good in the races regardless of where you finished
Airsoft players who run head cams use this pretty easily available camera mount that hang from the top but hangs just about leveled with your eyes. It also doesn’t block your view much and many airsofters just 3d print it
Yeah If I do more DR2 content I'll definetly experiemnt with position some more. The optimum position varies depending on the game due to the limitations with camera position. Mounting slightly above my eyes on this game gave a distorted persoective because we couldn't add anymore tilt in the game.

Meanwhile, I'm fucking /all/ over the place, and I've only been playing in the Dirtfish paddock, playing with a Fulvia, trying to teach my brain how to drive without feeling the car. And with a Logitech G27, it's a bit of a struggle! Hopefully one day I'll get on your level!! Also absolutely fucking thrilled with the mixed reality cockpit. I think my goal might be VR for ease of setup and maneuverability in an apartment, but gosh. Your setup is truly awe inspiring, and a goal to aspire to.

Maybe if you take joker lap on the begin lap , have different result i think , i love seeing you play dirt rally too , so now have much variant video on your channel 👍👍

I think 55 would do the same job ultimately. For anything outside content creation I still think 32in is ideal. Far more practical and almost the same immersion for the driver if you have them close. Just makes it harder to do mixed reality content.

How are you able to do 3 65" TV's when basically every graphics card out there only has 1 HDMI port? Please explain as I'm genuinely curious how you do it
not too keen on that view tbh... looks very zoooomed out!! can also see the screen warping where the screens meet... maybe the horizon needs adjusting? mind you I prefer iracing to Dirt Rally
How did you get such a nice display distribution on triple screens in DR2.0? I used VR until Windows update and Steam VR made the game crashing every time…

Take the joker laps first, you'll have a better chance to catch or over take the leaders when they take theirs
love the bent angles on the side screens. games need to address this lack of triple screen support

Does anyone drive with the Fanatec classic rim wheel? If so is it comfortable?
I have one. Yeah it’s very comfortable. Just not super practical for the type of cars I usually drive because of the large diameter.
The lack of handbrake use in this video was disturbing.
Could just be me but the eye cam is a little low see to much steering wheel not enough screen. I found joker on the first lap is better

Just careful camera placement and crop on the camera. The sides are still distorted IRL. Hopefully they add proper projection correction one day.
They won't add it to DR2.0 as they released the last update in the last three or two.
We can only hope they see fit to add to DR3.0
