Group B is no more because of those idiots who kept entering the track and trying to touch the cars, if the danger of the cars concerned the drivers only, it would still be around, but then Portugal 1986 happened and people died because of their stupidity, not the driver's fault.

Gabriel Toivonen’s crash at the Tour de Corse was what ended group B, not the Portugal one, though that didn’t help.
@@BeanyB0b Henri Toivonen was the driver who crashed on Corsica. Sergio Cresto was his co-driver. Very sad loss as he was destined to be a World Champion at some point in the future.

Bend went to the right so you have to steer the other way as the car's back end starts to step out to prevent oversteeer and spinouts. He just messed it up and went too far.

@@Dino-kr7nd he did counter-steer going around the bend to get traction back but he went a little too fast into the corner which made him overshoot into the tree. It's not faked lmao he just made a mistake.
Also you can see at the end he tried to steer away from it but the car ended up understeering.
It’s so believable ingame, but it’s unbelievable they were doing this in real life.
Its mind blowing right? Most aggressive driving on this planet. Most dangerous motorsport in my opinion, next to F1 and Prototypes.

@@rocknrye9273 I'd have to say that they're all extremely dangerous. I'd have to say any off-road racing is the most dangerous though. anything can happen out there in the desert. especially when you're racing the Baja 1000. Most racers don't even finish.

The Audi is so goddamn metal it has the blood types on the side of the door.
That has to be the most heartbreaking crash I've seen in a video game ever.
I am a fairly confident sim racer, rally specific, however this was the first stage I attempted on dirt rally 2.0 in the grasp of a VW Polo R5.... let’s say I was a little lost for words after I’d plunged myself into a tree at 130mph....😂🤦🏻♂️

The one thing that scary on this stage is the straight parts, once you thought you going to relax, the co driver will say 4 left over jump😂😂.. and those bumps are killing me
I knew that last flying corner, i swear to god i was like, JIMMY NO THE LAST ONE IS A TRAAAAAAAP BRAAAAAKE 😂😂😂That's how you finish a stage in style, getting to the finish line is overrated. They should let us leave a grave with a message for the other players, like in dark souls, that tree must have taken so many beautiful stage times lol
There were so many insane, fully sideways close-calls... It was just a matter of time... Funnily enough, it happened to be the very last of nearly 492 seconds.
I always end up crashing into the red boxes marking the line in Poland 😂😂
4 years later I’m still playing this game and this f*ng stage is killing me.
Actually what would have been more dramatic than Jimmy’s DNF is something that happened to me a lot on this stage:
1) Terminal damage by crashing INTO this Finishing Cube 🤣
2) Sliding into the finishing cube so you get broken wheel(s). So either you jump into the next one with broken wheels either you have to restart the stage 🤦🏾♂️😓
This video reminded me of when you take a kid bowling and they use the guide rails so they can’t get a gutter ball. Jimmy just slapping the side left and right then finally still bins it on the literal last tree

I have to say im loving the hell out of Dirt rally 2.0 since they added the Wales dlc. Wales kind of shows off just how great the physics really are in DR2. The R5 cars handle really great at Wales, and on the Polish stages too. I just wish we could have the Polo R WRC and the Fiesta RS WRC from the original game.

I got this game and a Wheel yesterday. Was up all night trying to master this track. OMG it’s hard!!
Got from crashing every single corner to finishing the track in 10.23min.
It’s maybe not the best time, but feels nice to have survived a track for my first time!
Didn't expect this stage to end that way haha well played. It was fun to watch you battling on with the bumps.

When i first witnessed this video almost a year ago, i had JUST bought myself a beginners set of wheel, pedals, shifter and handbrake.
I never believed i'd make it to group B much less through H1-H3
Yet here i am, working my way through Group B RWD, and i cry as i go through knowing that the speed alone makes my hands shake, my ears ring, my heart and breathing stop

I just randomly watched this video start to finish idk why but that end hit me like a truck
40 Years ago, a seed fell into the ground and a small sapling eventually emerged. After a harrowing start during its most vulnerable stage, the sapling grown into a young tree. Over the next decades, the tree grew tall and strong, feeding off the sunlight in the sky and the nutrients in the soil. Until one day, it stopped Jimmy right before the rally finish line. The tree knew its purpose was complete.
